| Takemichi is the hero this anime deserves. He's literally putting his life on the line in this timeline to take the Black Dragon. He took some nasty hits but also managed to connect a punch to Taiju. Guy looked like he's half dead. Idc what people think of Takemichi this arc. He fought like a champ and put everything on the line. |

| FINALLY Hakkai fights! The background of the Shiba family is excellent and touching! Yuzuha is really a very respectable character! I just love it! Mikey's Return! |
| Takemichi tanking all the damage, might scatter his deadbrain inside, tho still stood up over those gigantic monster till he surprisingly kneels down for the first time. Crybaby hero also manage to snapping up the blue crybaby Hakkai into reality and manning up to fist fight his shitty monster brother. I'm proud of you, Takemichi, and he deserve a glimmer of hope that was coming right at the end. Just like Yuzuha with the soul of her mom, same with Mikey. Same. Mikey like a santa there, chilling late arriving there just to give a simple but proper greet and also a good question for them all. Its simple, Mikey. That's how youngster celebrate christmas party, right? So why not joining in, Sir? |

| Everything about the family abuse by Taiju puts me to reflect on the people who suffer from this, and it is beautiful as in this anime they take it serious and that show Yuzuha's love to Hakkai The animation of this episode saw her quite diminished but I did not complain |

| that's why yuzuha's the best character and only reason i'm still watching this season. if i was taiju, i would've launched more benches or just beat their asses while they talking, like just get over with already. but now that mikey's here, i think it should get somewhat interesting after the last few episodes which have felt like a drag. |

He’s always been protected and never had to actually fight himself. But I swear if these mfs come out of this fight without CTE/permanent brain damage, etc lmaooo. | This episode was good and bad at the same time We got to see the actual story Behind Hakki and Shiba family and that it was Yuzuha who protected Hakkai.And that ending... Mickey gave me chills, shit's about to go down in next ep. But on the other hand, why do they talk and cry so much infront of Taiju and he is just standing there waiting to finish their little pep talks? |

| Ok, I know Takemitchy is a punching bag & all, but that loud scream, quickly followed by a massive punch straight in the mouth (happens around 2:32 in the episode) made me crack up laughing so hard LOL I enjoy the show, but yeah... I also get why it gets hated on so much too. The MC isn't just weak, he's insanely dumb too, and now the beatings have gotten so crazy they've become unintentional comedy. I'll still watch every episode of this series no matter what, but wow... would it hurt not to make him such a joke all the time? I really shouldn't be laughing at supposedly serious parts. |

| Takemichi may be all talk, but even facing against the heinous Taiju in Hakkai's eyes, landing a hit on Taiju is the biggest contributary effort from him thus far in an effort to risk his life and change the future. Same for Hakkai in saving Yuzuha from what was proposed from said crybaby, a matter which was not resolved for as long as they've been alive. Hakkai just didn't have the courage to stand against his defiant elder brother, and so too are both Takemichi and Mitsuha from their past run-ins, being weak but having the power of friendship. With that, Hakkai's changed, finally being able to face his brother, even if he exerts all of his efforts. With the church surrounded by Black Dragons, unless Toman takes care of the gang altogether, the future will never change. For most of Yuzuha's life, having to protect the family after their mother passed away and protecting Hakkai from Taiju, it's no wonder she jumped on the opportunity when Kisaki phoned her to kill Taiju and save her younger brother. She has done most of the work before, and now it's the men's turn to return the favour. The Christmas Showdown has one unexpected player incoming: Mikey, coming in with his greetings, swag and all. Will this showdown change with Mikey along? |
