Jeanne being in love is probably the worst kept secret in this franchise by now lol. It looks like the episode returned to its more lighthearted mood this time. Silly Jeanne.

Domi's role this episode was also hilarious. I find it amusing how these larger than life characters behave like lovestruck girls in this particular episode.

Is suppose to be a happy episode with everyone enjoying their love feelings, but then I remembered that, Ruthven at any moment can rain on everyone's parade.

At the end I dont know if I do a FMA reference or an Assassins Creed one.

I must say... while I am disappointed that they somewhat rushed the Géuvadan arc, I am really excited to see this one animated. This episode is probably the best one so far during season 2, in my opinion.

I really hope to see them add the scenes they cut in-between the previous arc and this one, but I honestly kind of doubt it since they even cut the build up to this arc. But perhaps they will find a way to fit that in somehow. Even if they do, though, the fact remains that there was no build up, which is a shame.

Buuut, I am so excited for the next episode since it will most likely adapt my favourite chapter in the whole series so far.

My excitement about this next arc aside, I think they did a great job with timing during this episode, something I have felt was lacking previously. I especially loved the Vanitas talking to Roland and Olivier moment; Vanitas' reaction to Roland saying it's love was on point, and Roland and Olivier's reactions in general were great. Then we have Domi, Jeanne and Luca, and their talk was also well-done. I also really enjoyed how they did the first and last scenes in this episode, the lighting was great.

One other thing I am disappointed by however is that while Noé said that he "didn't like Vanitas" in the manga, he was thinking about Vanitas telling Roland and Olivier "how could anybody love somebody like me", which has some interesting implications. I am not surprised they cut it, since they did something similar during the episode were they danced in the first season, but I am nonetheless disappointed that they didn't include that detail.

Nonetheless, I hope they will deliver in this next arc. They did well in the Noé flashback episode during season one, so I have hopes that they will do well with this arc as well.

Despite how Domi-starved I was, Jeanne stole the spotlight easily, no contest. She's officially B.G. now. Possibly even this season's B.G., on par with Marin. Loved how she said she was willing to bang him if she saw Vanitas then and there. And she's going to try hiding her feelings lol.

Speaking of Vanitas, he was cute to watch as well this episode, what with with him unsuccessfully using the "I'm talking about a friend" trick. Now that he loves Jeanne as well, I'm not worried about him dumping Jeanne just coz she loves him.

Overall, this was a fucking amazing episode. 5/5

Why did no one tell me how good this anime is. I watched the whole thing in one night. And I love the romance in this anime. The latest episodes were hard to watch for my heart but the newest was more funny and a lot of romance.

Cliche episode for both Vanitas and Jeanne to realize their true feelings for one another HOWEVER this episode was comedy gold! I was laughing for the entire episode.

Jeanne is such a peach she was so freaking adorable. Normally i felt like she would deny being in love...but nope she accepted it and is actually quite okay with it as well!

I dont think Domi got stabbed at the end, the way the emphasized her hair my guess is Home Boy chopped it off. But man we come back and Domi is getting done in Dirty but this trash kid. Hopefully this next arc is better then the last.

Pretty light hearted and comedic start to the episode.
Jeanne was funnier than vanitas. It's clear they have strong feelings for each other..
But ending was rather dark. I hope domi is ok.
Also the next episode title is worrying but hopefully vanitas can do what he does..

I am all in for vanitas and Jeanne.. Jeanne is the type of woman who isn't the one to hold back when talking about her feelings with her friends but vantius does as he doesn't think too highly of himself.

Lovey-dovey episode until the sharp twist in the end.

Still I cannot ship Vanitas with Jeanne. It's been many years since I passed the point of no return and where possible, such as here, I'm shipping the two leads--- Noé x Vanitas. :D Their bonding is on an another level though, such as when Noé tells Vanitas what he actually needs to hear about himself being fine as he is etc. Still hoping for some development though! :D

Love was definitely in the air with the entirety of this episode till the ending portion. Jeanne's reactions and mood this whole episode were on another level, too much for Dominique and Luca to take in, especially considering her feelings are really passionate and not subtle whatsoever, and it's for someone like Vanitas. She definitely carried this episode, alongside Dominique's reactions too.

This was honestly my favorite episode of the season. It was hilarious to watch Vanitas and Jeanne realize they are in love while everyone else reacts to it. The comedy in this series works so much better when it has its own sectioned block in an episode rather than being thrown in during serious moments.

OH BOY IS THIS A ROM-COM EPISODE LOLOLS, GREAT!

The boys are back in Paris, where Noé freaks out about Vanitas's sickness...which he thought that it started from Jeanne. No boy Vanitas, your incurable "cursed" disease is that you're being lovesick because you feel pleasure that Jeanne bit you, and now that feeling can't be stopped.

Even Roland and Olivier are on their resting stint talking about lovers and stuff, and Vanitas is there to receive some romance experience from them. And he literally shared his enitre experience with Jeanne with them...it's the lovesick disease that cannot be cured. He thought that he shouldn't be loved, until he contradicted himself in the same exact way.

Jeanne is back at Dominique's residence having a regular tea break, and she spilled the tea on her affection for Vanitas, which sent her on a beet-red love spiral and Domi towards confusion with that confession. Also, the way that Jeanne understood love from her parents...er haha, it's not the stereotypical way of love and romance, and every advice taken from Domi only backfires even more to the point of absurd hilarity.

Vanitas is so distraught to the point that he'd never thought that he'd love a vampire like Jeanne, and Noé brought up an interesting comparison between him and Astolfo, coerced during the Beast of Gévaudan arc.

Everything was peaceful..until the final moments with Domi...and this kid whom exterminated her, he will be the central focus of the next arc.

The best episode so far, and I can't wait for the next arc to come around.

Dark days are coming... I really hope they capture the tone and mood of those chapters.

They have rushed the Gevaudan Arc, so obviously they must have something good up their sleeves hopefully.

Nice episode, loved the voice acting. The old-fashioned rom-com parody was great and the chills of the end was well executed. So who voices that kid again?

Woah. noe's words at the end there were perfect tho. who tf is this kid that keeps calling domi onee-chan ill KILL u

I am so happy I finally got to see this animated! Jeanne and Vanitas figuring out their feelings for each other, Vanitas taking advice from Roland and Olivier in one of the funniest and the most impactful scenes for me in the manga because he starts to talk more openly about his self-hate, and of course, Noe telling him he is fine just the way he is. Definitely one of the favorite episodes so far.

Hopefully they will now give Domi's story the spotlight and I hope they won't rush it. I expect the directing to be top-notch for that one like with the Noe's flashback.

My cheeks fucking hurt, I couldn't stop smiling or laughing this episode. This episode is probably the reason I ain't really that mad that the pacing for the Beast of Gevaudan arc was kind of not good lmao, because I got to see this episode animated. Plus, it's a given that the manga is better overall, so I'm just accepting the anime for what it is now.

Good to see Domi back, and she's already in pain, fuck. Let's see if the pacing for this arc will be better with 4 episodes left.

Comedy was hit-or-miss, though it's not like I wasn't somewhat entertained by the hijinks with Vanitas and Jeanne having this physical revelation and reaction to love; honestly I just couldn't care much for this episode as it felt like nothing particularly productive was happening this time around up til the last scene.
Seems like they're rushing into the next arc without much padding to work with.
What a shame. This adaptation has run itself to the ground too much to where the damage will not be mitigated enough, and I sense an anime original ending from how things look so far....*sighs* another Pandora Hearts anime situation.

honestly, my favorite ep in this cour! This is the first time that I actually felt bones did adapt the manga bc as someone who read vnc i can testify how they scrap some Gevaudan goodness in the previous eps.

it's funny and love is really in the air. jokes on vanitas for keeping it cool with jeanne at first now he is falling harder than her lol then there's the roland and olivier chaos

I like how they played Domi and Mikhail's psychological torture to tone out the episode. It gave Domi more depth as a character. I honestly love her and I love her with Noè!

It is not told outright, but from the information that we have got so far, we can deduce that:
1. Vanitas does not know whether or not Jeanne is a curse-bearer. We don't either.
2. Vanitas needs to know the True Name of the vampire he cures. But Jeanne doesn't seem to have a visible malnomen (if she is a curse-bearer), and because of Ruthven's curse, she can't tell Vanitas her True Name (aaand she doesn't know Ruthven cursed her in the first place).

So the situation is a bit more complex than "Vanitas should just cure Jeanne".

I hope this helped!
