| Looked this song up after hearing it in Forza Horizon 5, imagine my surprise finding out it had an awesome anime music video done in the 80s style I love Awesome as hell, I feel less like a grumpy old fuck if this is the direction popular music is going in |

| Love how detailed they are with emulating that style, even down to film imperfections and cel shadows. I had always wondered if this was some western project that just really "got" the anime style, until I looked at the production credits, and lo and behold, it's a Japanese studio. For some reason there's always something western animators always miss when trying to make "anime". Like facial proportions, coloring, movement. Makes total sense why this music vido felt sooooo authentic. I don't necessarily love the song, but the fact it was made in this style and done so perfectly is worth checking out. This is the kind of thing where some weird one off OVA about a pop idol would fit so well. |
