I didn't fully watch the Akira movie but I fully read the manga! That's why I didn't prioritize watching the movie recently since I'm familiar with the story anyway, but its true that the movie itself is a classic regarding the direction, so the manga experience isn't the same.

I agree with you regarding Frieren, it's just subjective for me, I think I would have said the same if I didn't just watch so many fantasy shows with similar world building and get tired of it, that's the only reason I didn't enjoy Frieren as much as most people, I read Frieren's manga since it basically started and I feel like it fits me more this way surprisingly.

Really for Frieren? What do you especially like about it? I watched it but it didn't resonate with me that much, I think it's mainly because I'm tired of "basic" fantasy world building since I've seen too many of them

To say the least, I am not one of moe and ecchi's most adamant fans. A slower post rate is interesting; while the fast post rate on /a/ does have its merits, I firmly believe that it's an important factor in the quality of posting. The fastest threads are usually the worst in terms of discussion, as nobody ever has the time to write a well thought-out thesis before the subject of conversation becomes irrelevant, and were someone to type an interesting message, it would be only one amongst 400, whilst such messages stand out more in slower threads, which, in addition, have more of them. In any case, I'm interested to try posting in the news threads at first. Thank you for the report!

Good morning! What's your opinion on the ANN forums? Interested, I've been meaning to read them for a while but, I don't know, it always feels a bit difficult once you're used to anonymous platforms.
