| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- It's about time they faced off against Clayman. On the other hand, it's refreshing to see Moderate Harlequin Alliance members making their appearances this season again. After all the talk and buildup, we actually got some action. Lol, even Gobta got excited. Definitely excited to see more action next episode! |

| Finally, all of the 1st half of Part 2's long-winded exposition has led to this: the Demon Lords" banquet of Walpurgis. The journey to get there feels long. But first, a trip to Treyni's Dryas forest for Rimuru to envelop more of his Demon Lord's (or more specifically, Beretta's) powers and revive some more dead corpses arising. The pre-preparation for the big day on the site where Geld's Orc race is decimated (for revenge) on Carrrion's land. Everyone is on high alert for concern, even if they know that Rimuru will handle just fine. It's just piecing the puzzle between what happened to Carrion (that's captured within enemy borders to save him), Milim (of her manipulation from Clayman is still withholding) and what tricks will Clayman play during Walpurgis, as is the troops movement for extra precautions to eliminate them before Walpurgis can begin. AND IT'S TIME...BEGIN THE ASSAULT! Benimaru's signal is secured with his new Unique Skill "Born Leader", and this one-sided first blood is a success to catch the forces there off-guard to lay that number to waste of a perfect ambush. Phobio getting back at Tear and Footman being star-strucked to downplay the situation, the only difference is that this time, he's not alone with Geld. Even Yamza also knows when to play strategically, fully knowing well that himself being Clayman's puppet will fare him no better. His face-off with Lycanthrope Albis, both right-hand men to their respective Demon Lords, and a 1-on-1 battle to settle their score. Gobta's surprise save with his ragtag team on Ranga's wolves, what a goblin to save a life and be the usual showoff that he is. There is only but one part of an all-out important battle: Yamza vs. Albis. This fight better be worth the run. |

| Oh, never expected that they'll adapt this far... The pacing is really good today. The action fights are good, but it's not completed yet.. we still have more. A very good episode overall... |

| We finally get the goddamn fights and oh boy is it a doozy! There’s not much action in it, but if it’s anything to go by next episode should be filled with fights? Hopefully at least lol. Benimaru needs a nerf next patch, he read the enemies like a book goddamn. Sure the plan was heavily in their favour from the get go, but his forward thinking -sending orc guy and gobta with the beast keepers(?) was quite insightful, and seemed like he planned for them to go off on their own lol Gobta basically came in to troll lmao, kid blocks an attack, doges another and parries another before deciding to leave with his squad xD! Surprised at how strong he is, taking on a middle fingers attacks in no normal feat after all. |

| After building up for the last six episodes, this is the time for the truth. Finally, we got to see some action in this show. We got to see Rimuru upgrading Treyni's powers and she's ready to tag along with Ramiris to the banquet. Shuna is also gonna be there. Everything's ready to go down. Some nice action after all this time. I enjoyed this episode since we were all anticipating the action but looks like there's more juice out there that's gonna be in the next episode. Can't wait for next week. |

| Gobta has really developed extremely further through the training that very nice. Cool that rimura let shuna go and help souei to destroy clayman castle. Very nice fights im hype to the next episode. |

| There's V2 of the Opening! Demon Lords appear in the OP! We have a set-up for all fights : Suphia,Gabiru & Co. vs Dragon Faithful Phobio & Geld vs Footman & Tear - I love how they constantly made fun of Phobio, all the clown are such trolls! and finally Albis vs Yamza - It could have been Gobta but he would just OHKO Yamza! We will also finally get some Shuna shine! She is about to kick some major ass! |

| The battle has begun and everything's going according to plan so far. Rimuru's army and the Beast Keepers are totally dominating it. Also that Gobta part was hilarious. |

| Love the subtle changes to the OP now featuring the demon lords. Pacing was great today and the animation was as well, we finally getting into the meat of this volume. I have full confidence that 8bit will make it worth the wait starting next week. A lot of people been complaining about the pacing throughout this cour, but I think it’s consistent with the slower pace 8bit have always gone with. |

| Dang I seriously thought this episode would be Walpurgis, but oh well, the war is really good too. After half of the season being just build-up and a lot of people seeing it as a letdown, we finally get to the good stuff. But, in a way, this episode is build-up too. It's just the start of the war and it's showing how the common troops fall before showing the stronger ones fighting, so the next episode should be pretty packed I think. The trap they set up for the war was great lol, every single detail was thought through, from the enemies being able to fly, to the ones that can't being able to climb up from the hole. Seeing all the enemies fall at once was really satisfying too. As for Albis vs the commander of Clayman's army, the fight is still pretty much starting so there isn't much to say about it. The fight against Tear and Footman is going to be pretty good if I remember right, but the highlight of the war is probably going to be what Benimaru does at the end so look forward to that. Also, don't forget that Hakuro, Souei and Shuna were also sent to war, but to a different place with a different mission. And of course I'm still hoping to see Walpurgis next episode anyways. |

| After 6 episodes worth of dialogues, it's finally time for some action. Rimuru's drip went up. His black outfit makes him look even more like a True Demon Lord. And Shuna wants to be deployed. Can't wait to see her in action with the old geezer. Benimaru got a new skill called ''Born Leader'' which is kinda overpowered but oh well, It's Benimaru. Phobio and Geld vs Tear and Footman, Yamza vs Gobta and Albis. Can't wait to see the outcome of these fights.. And damn, replay at 19:26 for some good plot. |

| Finally the black suit is here. Gobta definitely the mvp of this episode. Still feel like some dialogue could have been cut but at least it's better than the previous ones I guess. |

| Bro, this episode felt like it was 5 minutes. Finally the battle has started! It took a while building up to it, but we get some action now. Leave it to Benimaru to send back-up with the three Beastketeers. Always gotta expect Clayman's minions to have some underhanded tactics. Gobta ever so modest about his own skills and capabilities. He has yet to discover how powerful he truly is. |

| boi.. 7 episodes in and we hardly got a single fight which is tension free since we know that the enemy is a bad guy and ofc he will lose.. yea.. this season is bullshit and meh as usual.. i loved the spinoff far far better.. . we are most likely gonna win all fights from now on.. and walpurgis is gonna happen in last 2 episodes.. why am i even watching this crap when i already know what's gonna happen.. |
| Gobuta was hilarious. I really wanted to witness how strong he has become. Benimaru is showing his skills as a true leader. And with his unique skill, he can send reinforcement wherever is needs which really cool. I wonder how powerful the other Demon Lords are? I got a feeling most of them are week compared to Rimuru. |

| Benimaru gain new skill, that quite frightening tho, even Rimuru couldn't predict what comes next, he could only calculate it I can't wait to see Gabiru and co fight against Milim followers also I can't wait to see Shuna in action, I think this is the first time Shuna went into the battlefield, as log as I remember. I wonder, will Geld and that weak guy could kill those clowns? because those two looks powerful enough to fight 1 on 1 with Benimaru. |
| Hmm what a odd way to evolve but still congrats to Treyni in being able to gain a new form. Nice change to the visuals for the opening. Its rare for Shuna wanting to deploy though thats for sure. Benimaru's ambush really was damm effective though. After being on the sidelines for so long its nice to see the three Beastketeers get the opportunity to act. Tear and Footman really love to taunt their opponents huh. Albis's raid on the enemies main camp though was an excellent move but even more so with the extra support that was provided by Gobta and his team. Benimaru really planned this battle well. Overall an excellent ep that while prepping for Rimuru's debut at the meeting also did well to introduce quite a few plans within the battle with Clayman's forces via the individual battles with Clayman's elites and the upcoming infil of Clayman's fortress. Can't wait to see what happens next. |

After episode 6 I actually believed we were about to see what we were waiting for, thus my disappointment. It's now also clear that Walpurgis won't happen next episode either, since this battle isn't finished. So at least 2 more weeks. Well, that's how Fuze writes these light novels, he'll start with meetings in the first half of the LN, then the action is at the end. To be clear, 8bit is really doing a faithful adaptation.. I'm happy with it, but I think there's some drop in animation quality because of continuous work (We got 31 episodes total this year from the slime series) but I hope they are saving the budget for the "Fight of the season" which we will witness in the next episode. |

| I thought Benimaru was gonna fight Yamza, I was surprised to see Albis!! Gobta was amazing and hilarious in this ep. He was so confident in both his actions and in analyzing the situation. He has come a long way! I just can't get enough of gabiru and his hardcore followers!! It was a good episode. More action in the coming episodes. Cant wait!! |
