| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well, Haruto's instincts were sharp. He almost got killed by an assassin on his adventure. Looks like we got Latifa's character introduction. She was adveritsed before from promotional materials so I'm not surprised that she showed up in the story. This episode also goes to show Haruto's growth as a fighter since he was able to fend off his attacker. Latifa's past is a reminder of the grim reality of the show. |

| Kirito Rio is off to his own solo journey...while Latifa stalks him from behind. The Galwark Kingdom is Rio's first stop, and the first real food he has is pasta. Heading straight to the Rikka Company for business with Liselotte and Cozette, and sending letters to Celia for her to ensure that he's fine. It doesn't take long for the Raphtalia girl Latifa to target him in the outside woods, and Rio takes notes for being Naofumi in the exact same way. So Latifa was one of the girls in the runaway bus that got Isekai-ed and reincarnated into the fantasy world as a slave, like who would've thought. Rio easily links up the assassinators with one of the nobles from Bertrant (Stead), the children of the royal family who tried to kill him as a scapegoat for their own nefarious reasons. It's clear that Latifa has no choice but to follow orders, and given the way that Rio knows he's being threatened alongside her, at least he gives her the choice to walk this journey together with him, after a harrowing backstory and following nightmares for dreams. The big bro and the little girl, companions for an endless journey. And some beastkin on the attack, caught off guard. This is a classic Shield Hero episode mashed with Kirito. |

| The solo journey of the black swordsman is on, and no its not the one from sao. Never seen that pasta technique, seems like I'm a Neanderthal and just thrust the fork in and twist it instead of using a spoon? Learn something new eh? Can't be an isekai without a slave girl, and guess what, the slave girl is also reincarnated lmao, can't make this up. Don't get me wrong though, it was fairly dark seeing her past but the trope just reminds me of raphtalia so I was more quizzical than anything lmao |

| Woah the fights in this episode were miles better than the past ones. It was extremely fun to watch. Rio finds foods from his past life in this new world while visiting a town, which were apparently made by someone from his world. Rio now has a new party member, and it seems she also has some relation to his past life. I think this episode mostly explains that the people from the crashed bus were all reincarnated, that's what I'm getting from this. Latifa seems to be the kid who looked back at him right before the bus crashed, and the food lady could be the woman next to her. I don't know if there are more people. Seems like the next episode will be completely unrelated to Rio's journey, Latifa, or them being chased. Doesn't seem like it has to do with other reincarnations either or the story at all. If anything I'm getting the idea that it will explain who the pink haired "ghost" girl from the first episode was. |

| Oh dear... I guess they will add even MORE timeskip. It's getting obvious now too... Would have been nice to know about them. Who knows it might have been a story about those 2 reincarnators. Not gonna lie that's some BAD luck Latifa have there... Now that her past life gains most influrence of her body... We can deduct that her mind has already been destroyed. Due to that her past life then replaced all her current body's memories even personality. From a completely normal loli waking up as a slave in another life. That's a BIG PTSD of a life time... Like try imagine if you are a young kid getting isekai as a H series victim. Yep, that's a nightmare alright... Oh... Unless you are into that... The only advantage she got from this is just... Super body as a beast race as well as skills of an assassin. That's not really worth living a life as a slave. Honestly not worth because she's too cute for that treatment. She belong to the protected squad! |

| From human from the real world to slave beast, that's really sad for Latifa, but great thing that she met Rio and that he released her from her slave collar, to be honest her character design looks pretty good in the anime, now after all these (very very fast) journey together the whole forest that is protected with magic should be more interesting |

| LETS GOOO. Loli Demi human waifu is here. Latifa’s backstory is really sad, sucks that kid took advantage of her and abused her that way. Meeting Rio was the best thing that could happen to her. “Can I call you onii-chan” was so damn cute. Looking forward to seeing more of her since sensei isn’t around anymore. I’m also curious about who or what is summoning people to this world. |

| That's quite an interesting development. The loli assassin, Latifa, also has memories of a Japanese girl. The little girl who was on the same bus as Haruto/Rio. That's horrible though, such a little girl reincarnating into a girl who is enslaved by royalty... That's too harsh. I now wonder if there are more people like Rio and Latifa who have memories of Earth. Well, other than Liselotte cause that one is too obvious XD |

| This was okay, I mean Latifa's introduction was just as good in the LN. And more on how she's the was the little girl who was isekai'd along with Rio. Ngl, I personally Latifa calling Rio "Onii chan" is really gonna be difficult to get used to (and I'm a novel reader) hey better than being called Papa. Next Episode is truly begins the Spirit Forest Arc... I hope they don't condense this arc into one episode. |

| I'm gonna go out on a limb here, and say that Liselotte is the other girl on the crashed bus since we don't know of any other characters originally from Japan except for Haruto's childhood friend who is probably the pink-haired girl from episode 1. |

| What an episode, and to think that the one who was supposed to kill Rio, damn. What a plot twist, that's the case if i am right ofc. But it does seem like that girl who is now Latifa was traveling with her older sister (Ayase) and it's more than obvious that her older sister is also here, but i am glad Rio didn't take too long to tell her that he also came from Tokyo, poor girl damn, that was rather an unpleasant moment, and the whole collar thing... i just hope that later they will kick that guy's ass. Can't wait for the next episode! |

| Finally, I watched the ep4 animation this episode is better than the 3rd one where Rio saves the princess. I can clearly see that there's no dragging out the action scenes and its full pure battle scenes and especially, Latifa's enhancing physical ability magic scene was also great that there's no wasted frame. I also noticed that while Latifa was enhancing herself, Rio was talking making it more dramatic and Latifa was so cute and fluffy! I will really miss Celia thinking there's no more screen time for her 😔 because her cutesy act is certainly adorable and there is something that is bothering me for quite awhile while watching this episode because they didn't animate the one who created the pasta-like food from Japan but maybe they will be added someday for the next episodes. For now, I am satisfied for this creation but a bit iffy because some parts in the manga was skipped and I think they did it to compress the timeline to make that cliffhanger at the end but seriously, it ruins the character development if you guys do that. Ohh but I can't wait for next week's episode! 🥰 |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

| Ah, nevermind the other girl that seemingly like Haruto and her invention over noodles and elses. Latifa finally here! Sweet and adorable, in the first glance, couldn't even be more better than that to describe that fox loli. Too bad, her shitty past with that crappy noble forced her to get that fractious trait. Shock values all over again. However, together with Rio aka Haruto, Latifa's existence shall be more beneficial. So, thats a good choice to stay up with him, right? Well, after such a conveniently rapid but steady bonding moments over that twos, the entire episode. Rio met someone again. More strange encounter for him, but its actually the more reason for girl to coming up into the fun, around him. That's the plot! |

| Latifa is cute and the fact that she's also an isekai-ed character makes it a little more interesting. I like Kusunoki's voice as well. Too bad the MC and the overall plot is cripplingly boring. Not to mention this episode felt super rushed. |
| Pretty good episode! Just when I thought I couldn't hate those noble kids any more than I already do, they do this shit to Latifa. Must protecc. That Rio vs Latifa fight was pretty good. Wouldn't have mind seeing Rio and Latifa's adventures more in depth, but a montage is better than nothing. Looking forward to the next episode. |

A lot of mediocre anime this season, still waiting for mushoku tensei s2 and tate yuusha s2... pretty sure everyone is looking forward to these at this point in the season, there are only a few shows which are actually good, the rest of it is ok or meh. it does piss me off that all the good shows get postponed. Really hope it doesnt happen to overlord as well as that would lead me to breakdown |
