| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Heh, so this is the show's own way of trying to create a beach sensation for a music video. Funny. Meanwhile on stage, we got to see the casts' personalities up and close. As gimmicky as the episode seemed, it did a decent job at capitalizing on the entertainment content imo. |

| This is literally a beach episode...meant to be a long, hot summer...but in the raging cold. Tobikichi, Mitsuo and Utano got lucky by their usual mascot costumes, but Uramichi ain't kidding around. Trying to play the watermelon game with Tobikichi, except replace the watermelon with a winter gourd and have him as a sacrifice. Iketeru isn't left out either in this cursed shoot, which packs the usual clichés to even fireworks in CGI. What hilarity. The result from all that is that Iketeru got awfully sick together with his dog Sayuri, and the program recording has to be changed somewhat. But Utano found a learning lesson within that, and the kids unsurprisingly caught on. Playing the same bacteria again with only Bacterian, and Tobikichi continues his karma against Uramichi, which changes his image soon to teach kids some "value". His older sister coming to take care of him...like brother, like sister. Don't try too hard for someone's sake...? Now it's Mitsuo's turn to get sick, and Utano voices out again in the tune of communion. What a deadbeat pan expression with the relatable adult feels that tries to find out who's at fault to point fingers with...except that Uramichi, Utano and Tobikichi are equally at fault. The kids really love Kumao more than Usao, so Mitsuo donning Kumao is the only way to keep them interested...only that the kids are smarter to find out his game. Fusing both Usao and Kumao's costume is bad...even for a gag. Another funny episode! |

| Man... that must be the harshest job out of everything so far. Even his beach episode is painful. What a sad life. They had to do those in such cold. I can't imagine it. Props to Uramichi-Oniisan for not even budging. You can also see the goosebumps on his body. LOL Iketeru Oniisan got sick as well and they had to handle the kids without him but gotta say they did a pretty good job with kids even without him. Overall, another funny episode from this show. Really surprised with the comedy in this show so far. One of the most entertaining show of this season. |

| Filming Summer song in cold weather? No OP. Main guy saying he is not cold, but his arm already goosebumping. Using Tougan (winter melon) as Suika (melon)... Needs to get wet? Bear one is smart for pretending to get on singing brother but rabbit one too frighten that he got it on main guy. lol @ should have used CG from the beginning. Oh no. omusubi UFO because he got cold from the filming in cold. Singing sister being dramatic over singing brother sick. Hikasa-san as singing brother's sister. airheaded family that not listening to what others say... Health corner w.out the hero. Wow @ his line w.out the hero. It's bear one's turn to get sick after singing brother gets well. Singing sister being dramatic again. Singing brother agrees but she is being surprised. Everyone's feeling guilty for his sickness (getting video late at night, spilling chilled sake on that part (wait, can a person get sick from that?), playing snow). Kids liking bear one more than rabbit one. when switching to bear, a girl (feeling very spiritual and very scary) recognized it's not bear. Rabbit one's confession to bear one after ED. "Must have you!!". 25:40 again next. |

| The kids were so funny, particularly when they realized Usahara was inside the bear costume and were badmouthing him, Usahara just can't hide himself even in another costume. It was funny how Usahara sort of crushed the kids innocence by appearing half bunny half bear. The staff were brutal sadists making them film a summer music video in the middle of winter, why do they need six months to edit a music video lol? It looked pretty simple. |

| Oh boy this is getting better every episode. The kids going "Did he finally get fired?" when Iketeru isn't around... Anyway, I have a Japanese culture question! What does the word "dorobune" (literally mud ship/boat) allude to? I've seen that word a number of times before in disparate contexts, in anime/manga dialogue, a film title, the name of a lesbian bar, and now the name of an izakaya in this episode. |
| It sucks that they have to film a beach scene in cold weather and the whole were freezing their asses off. To make matters worse, Iketeru and Mitsuo got sick so they had to continue the show without them. Too bad it didn't work when the bear was missing from the show and the kids wanted to see bear instead of the rabbit. They tried changing costumes and it still didn't work due to the kids in the audience being very sharp. |

| To be honest this was the weakest episode until now. Great acting for the summer music video. Iketeru is basically his sister male version. Those kids are real fans of the show. |

| I feel like the part where they were filming the summer MV on a cold-ass beach in the middle of winter was funnier in the manga. Not entirely sure why, but it didn't get me laughing the way the absurdity of the situation did in the manga. Thankfully, the children's reactions to the shenanigans in the second half of the episode were great, particularly the moment the little girl realised it wasn't Kumatani in the Kumao costume. |

| Okay episode. I didn’t laugh as much as previous episodes, but it had some moments. Usahara constantly doing stupid stuff and getting beat on by Uramichi is starting to defy all reasonable logic. |
| Matched episode, i'd say. Long hot summer show, when they are actually in the middle of the winter cold, with that outfit. Lol. Nice one, careless director, make them more suffer over their works load xd. Well, its not like everyone sufferred much, instead, that bunny dude always got the portion more than anyone. I like how Utano really didn't get much role there, just standing there wearing that absurd costume. Pretty good shit! Not to mention how the whole second parts showed the impact of the previous one. Iketeru, her sis, and the cultured dog. Then, Kuma-san too. Ofc the kids also being awesome again, especially with those dramatic expression. Overall, this is really an enjoyable one. |

| Watching Uramichi trying not to lose it in that beach segment was hilarious. I love it when he takes it all out on Usao who can't learn from his mistakes. "What an attention hog." Those kids are ruthless, my god. Watching this show makes me both happy and depressed. 5 stars. |

| i dont know if its because some of my favorite chapters are shown here but this is probably the episode i enjoyed the most so far, they definitely could've done better with some of the scenes but its fine. that last bit with the kids noticing how its not kumao inside was hilarious, and usao being grateful towards kumao after the credits just topped it off |

Man, I love those kids and their harsh commentaries. You can't fool these kids, where's Kumao! Poor Usao though, nobody likes him lmao. Really looking forward to the next episode. |

| Beach scene in the winter? xD What a good idea. Everyone got a cold afterwards. Pretty funny episode as always. Uramachi with the dark vibes and the others lightning it up. Without Usahara the show would have been less funny for sure, love his reactions and actions. Can't wait for more episodes. Lmao, Kumutani hung up on Usahara's imporant message xD |

| The shooting at the beach in winter kind of reminded me of a documentary about the shooting of certain episode of Red Dwarf (which is a british sci-fi comedy). Very similar but at least here they didn't messed up the camera with sand. |

| That director... he is the root of ALL OF THEIR PROBLEMS haha After this ep I'm pretty sure he goes out of his way to make their lives hell! I can't help but appreciate how handsome all the guys are and how pretty Utano San is. They might have their issues but at least they have their looks haha |

| This was a good ep lol also I the fact that Gintoki's VA is in this makes sit extra special. I love hearing Usa-kun's raw fear every time he interacts with Uramichi |

| Ah the nice ...uhm extremely cold and unpleasant beach episode has come! For the most normal actor out of the bunch of miserable adults, I feel bad how almost everyone contributed to him getting the cold. Well at least the kids appreciate him unlike Usahara lol. |

| It took only 4 episodes for the show to get stale. Hope the following episodes are more interesting. |
| Beach episode hell yeah, In the middle of winter hell fucking yes like this can't get worse than before I love seeing them interact with one another backstage behind the scenes it makes them more expressive than their fake expressions I don't know if the show will be the same without Usao like this dude's taking one for the team for the better. |

| 3rd and 4th episode finally made this Anime work for me. I think when they finally established the individual character's traits, the running gags finally feels natural. Sugita finally being utilized with Usahara getting lots of scenes, Uramichii's introspections helps give sense to his dark attitude, kids finally in on more gags, and every cast member now has a role. I wish they established Uramichii's depression first during the 1st episode instead of rushing the dark humor. Like a scene that starts with him waking up in the morning all dead-inside, forcefully prepares and travels, then show up to the show smiling and looking so happy. That way, the dark humor would have made sense. But regardless, 3rd and 4th was had pacing so, I'll keep watching to see if things gets better. |

| Honestly, this show didn't quite sit well with me at first because of the dark humor and gloomy atmosphere. But surprisingly, it is slowly growing on me now. And kids just being kids! Hahahah I also can't really get over this ending song by Mamoru...it's so catchy and I am so into it now! |
