| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Lol, characters in this show really enjoy their tea and snacks. Episode is alright although that Ricky guy has an attitude. Seeing Kate trapped like a bird in that cage gave me the chills. And Lou...she can be quite a badass under her exterior. Definitely not a girl you want to mess with. |

| I would like to believe that Ricky has taken a liking to Emilico, even a little bit. She's just so precious. How can you even hate her? Emilico did a nice job of solving that puzzle of where that key should be used. Next stop is saving your master and for that pick a certain item of your choice. Emilico keeps getting between them and trying to stop them from fighting is admiring. She's such a mature doll but so cheerful and adorable. Rum and Emilico have become such good friends even tho Rum is very shy. |

| I love how chill Emilico is about the whole race situation, she doesn't care shes just going to do things the most entertaining way she can. Meanwhile everyone else is worried about being eliminated. |

| Emilico literally only has sunshine on her brain. Everyone else out here worried about making political power moves to move up the ranks and she’s just trying to make friends lol. Kate’s found herself in a precarious situation with the John proposal. Lots of interesting little lore tidbits today as well. I like how they’re slowly, but surely feeding us bits of information. Can’t wait for next week |

| I feel like the carriage Emilico took will come in big help somehow. Also so I supposse the debut also tests the soot power of the Shadows. Wonder if being able to control the soot at Kate's position is something incredible or not. |

| Pretty good episode, and it was pretty well adapted. One thing i found interesting was the direction, it was way better than the other episodes before, really wanna know who did it |

| Emilico is a Sunshine, while Ricky and Shaun are bitter rivals. The fact that Emilico doesn't care and does what she wants is just superficial but sweet. To have a such a huge feast between the 5 Living Dolls, that's quite a lot for them, but a single hidden message to progress further. But for the Master Living Doll Edward, his role as a judge is to judge with his own bias, not even a douse of care. As expected, the bread is what links both Kate and Emilico together, but not today: a rando trailer, what mismatched tools for all. Entering into a garden maze that looks and feels somewhat like the last challenge of Harry Potter and the Goblin of Fire, be careful for what lurks around at every corner. Ricky trying to take advantage of the unsuspecting Lou, she may be deficient in her awareness but stringest on everything else. Rum and Emilico working together (that gives the former character development) is nice too. The suddenness of Shaun's Shadow master John coming out from Edward's hiding sooner than once thought, the dispersing of soot will help, but the asking of a sudden marriage-in-hand just sounds so comical lols. For now, this debut is more than meets the eye from the higher-ups of the Shadow Family. This test is more conscending by the minute. |

| So freaking glad that the shadows are getting more and more personality and dialogues.. really felt that the show lacked importance for the shadows even tho they were such important figures in the plot.. |
| The debut keeps getting more interesting. Having the “dolls” try to find their masters in a maze opens up a lot of possibiliies with how they approach it. Plus, we got a little tease into some of the higher ranking shadows that are observing the debut. It doesn’t look like this anime is slowing down any time soon. |
| I can feel Edward is gonna hate Emilyko for a long while after this since it feels she's going to rally all the dolls together and he wont be able to eliminate anyone with a good reason thus getting him in trouble. |
| I like how nicely the switching between creepy and funny is done. Also I love puzzles and labyrinths. |

| Its looks like the mystery element of the show kinda back to kick again after a certain puzzle pieces arrived waiting to be solved by them. The test of the debut continued. They also explained why Ricky and his shadow master demoted. Its really because of his initiative over his own master. His behaviour still suck ass, hope he got more trouble in the labyrinth. Too bad he bumped into Lou, made them cooperating until next episode. The key to entering the garden labyrinth was that small porcelain thingy called feves from the ending theme. Emilico happy brain figured it out. But sure must feel lucky for Emilico by finding it in the first place before inside the damn cake, and had Lou to help figuring Edward hint about the porcelain purpose. Meanwhile, Edward motivation revealed. He targetted Kate from the beginning, because of her ownership over the sunshine living doll. Thats harsh, you, and those high-ranked shadow master stalkers. But the situations of Kate indeed worrying. Because apparently Emilico wrong picked the correct item. It must be the key to openned Kate's cage. Edward looked happy when Emilico took that carriage. But, pretty sure there must be a twist as how she picked up Rum, and then a bunch of oranges. Perhaps, someone else will be helping her to save Kate, for good. Or maybe Rum's master? Also, John marriage proposal really amusing. Too bad Kate only attracted to her doll and focused on her shadow goals. Every shadow had their different soot control, not just Kate emitting soot to control another being power. John can explode his high volume soot. Interesting, the previous episode exactly foreshadowing that show of John power. Lets see what else happened inside that labyrinth.... |

| What an amazing episode. This anime keeps surprising me. The story is soooo intriguing Also, backgrounds, animation and ost were excellent this week. And some creepy moments as well. I’m so hyped |
| Emilico goes brrr. There are no fucks, only sunshine. I wonder why Edward thinks she is such a threat. It's nice that there are also others putting Ricky in his place, didn't expect that from Lou. The part with John was also hilarious but didn't he basically disqualify himself by leaving his spot? |

| Almost all characters say bad things about Emilico being positive, but in the end she have more insight than the all other Dolls. Thus making her a great Dolls for Kate, that looks like the smartest from the 5. I don't doubt Edward trying to stab one of the dolls at the end. Looking how a prick he is. The high-level Shadows have a great aesthetic sense with their clothes, except the big one that is horrendous |

| Great episode the garden maze starts! The episode starts with the dolls figure out what Edward was saying last episode. And the true tests starts with choosing what item to find their Shadow master. The dolls dynamic is great this episode like Shaun, Ricky and Emilico, Rum. The cinematography this episode is very good to set the tone and atmosphere. The art and animation are consistent too. The last part revealed that they being observed by elder shadows. | Fantastic episode! This has quickly become one of my favorite shows to watch every week. I was a bit skeptical at first but since the debut started I have been more and more invested. I just can't wait to watch the next episode, so many intriguing mysteries and questions being built up. I'm really loving this. Why can't the next episode come sooner? |

| This was an interesting episode. Damn, Rickey is rude as hell, the guy has got to chill out, same thing with Edward. What'd cute Emilico do to make you want to fail her. This surprisingly was the first time I noticed the amazing OST and sounds this anime has to off. |

| Great episode! Hating on Emilico should be illegal, she literally has sunshine for a brain and that's not a bad thing to have in that kind of environment. The other dolls are panicking and all that, then we have Emilico having fun, eating sweets, solving puzzles and making friends, good shit. Well, Lou as well is kinda just going ham with those scissors lmao, she really doesn't think much does she. Rum helping Emilico push the cart was so wholesome, Emilico is really giving Rum sum confidence. And then we have John here go brr, blew up his crate and then blew our minds with that proposal, best boy. We also got a glimpse of the higher ranking shadows, they're pretty interesting. Once I finish catching up with To Your Eternity's manga, Shadows House is definitely next on the read list. Really looking forward to the next episode. |

| Emilico is literally just vibing in her own world, anyone that hates her or is mean to her has to be going out of their way to be an asshole. I'm liking the progress so far of this mysterious debut. We even got to see some of the higher-ranking shadows, who seem to view the debut as a form of entertainment. |

| So, from Edward's comments to himself (when he saw the dolls had left the room) and what the adult Shadows were saying at the end, every Debut is different according to the whims of the judge. And in this case, he really has it out for Kate for whatever reason. That aside, wouldn't it be right to say that John and Shaun have now failed the debut, given that John acted on his own rather than letting Shaun rescue him and, more pertinently, dirtied his clothes with his own soot in the process; Edward said that they would fail if the living dolls face was damaged or if the master's clothes got dirty, so it's not looking good for those two. Though, if this is all a form of entertainment for the adult Shadows as much as anything else, why is there this apparent necessity for Edward to fail one of them to look like a good judge? From what we could see of the "gameboard" the adults were watching, they have a pretty good idea of what's going on (including knowing that Emilico has "sunshine on the brain") so surely they'd be able to accept a hypothetical situation where all the Shadows in the debut deservedly passed without any damage to the judge's standing? Granted, it's a hypothetical given that John should fail by the established rules, but something I find curious nonetheless. |
