 This year's 19th issue of Young Gangan magazine announced a television anime adaptation of Shinichi Fukuda's Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru (My Dress-Up Darling) manga on Friday. Synopsis Traumatized by a childhood incident with a friend who took exception to his love of traditional dolls, doll-artisan hopeful Wakana Gojou passes his days as a loner, finding solace in the home ec room at his high school. To Wakana, people like beautiful Marin Kitagawa, a trendy girl who's always surrounded by a throng of friends, is practically an alien from another world. But when cheerful Marin—never one to be shy—spots Wakana sewing away one day after school, she barges in with the aim of roping her quiet classmate into her secret hobby: cosplay! Will Wakana's wounded heart be able to handle the invasion from this sexy alien?! (Source: Square Enix Manga) Fukuda began serializing the romantic comedy manga in Young Gangan in January 2018. Square Enix published the sixth volume last November, with the seventh volume scheduled for release on April 24. | Honestly the manga gets real boring where story pacing gets real weird and the main story doesn't really progress much. The girl is hot though, and it tackles some of the society prejudice towards cosplaying rather interestingly. Hopefully it gets done right cause it's gonna be a hit or miss adaptation. |

He shares a few characteristics usually present in the average MC, most notably his initial shyness and introverted nature, but he is way more than just a self insert character. He has a genuinely infectious passion for his strange hobby and breaks out of his shell pretty quickly once he finds a way to use that passion to relate to and interact with others. |

Self insert MCs has been here since forever, dont expect this to be any different. The main focus is cosplay and the blonde chick in that cosplay, the MC is just there to move manga panel blocks.
