I Rate anime based off: Characters > Story >VA > OST = Animation Manga: Characters > Artwork > Story
All are important, but my first impression is always the character interactions in any media I watch
10s: Despite the faults loved everything about it, wasn't bored at all. 9s: Didn't have enough push to give a 10, but pretty much the same as 10 8s: Loved it, just had some tiffs about it that I wasn't vibing with, but still love it 7s: Enjoyed myself, just some points in the story I didn't care for. 6s: I had to fast-forward some times to get it pass some boring bits, but it wasn't too bad 5s: I saw what it was trying to do but couldn't execute it/was boring 4s-3s: Had to keep watching the dumpster-fire to the bitter end 2s-1s: Why was this made??

Hello, everyone! I'm sending out this newsletter to inform everyone of a competition that the Slice of Life Club is currently hosting! If you're interested in voting on character polls, cute girls and/or winning a profile picture or banner, then keep reading!
The Slice of Life Club is hosting a Moe Competition! The competition will go on from now until September. I've split all of the characters up into four different groups. Each group will come down to a finalist and all four finalists will face off in a championship round. In total, there will be five different voting rounds (including the championship round). As promised back in November, the winner of the competition will be featured on the club layout and the finalists will have a special card edition made in their honor.
For additional information on the Moe Competition and match schedules, click here!
But wait, there's more! Are you interested in winning a profile picture or a banner? If so, >click here< to find out how!
The Slice of Life Club is currently looking to hire some more admins!
If you'd be interested in helping us make card editions or sending out invites for the club, please click here to apply!
Awesome. If the action, animation, soundtrack, etc. are solid, then the dialogue should be just as good. I thoroughly enjoy a good dialogue, especially since I'm a college professor. Idc if things are subtle or blatant...as long as it's well balanced, coherent, intriguing, and doesn't become repetitive. And everything I've read about it does make it sound very intriguing. Thanks for the info. As I said before, my list pales in comparison...but I would like to recommend something that isn't on your Plan To Watch List that I believe you would enjoy. It's Shinsekai yori. A very deep psychological anime that I think you would enjoy. Again, thanks :)
And a big part of any show or movie is dialogue (except for silent films). Lol but I get what you mean. I enjoy it as long as it's interesting, relevant, and not monotone. And good Seiyuu are also important. How's the soundtrack and background music?
Saw your post on a Steins;Gate thread and figured I'd check out your profile...damn my list is pitiful compared to yours...lol. Though I must say, you have good taste.
And your "no parents" thing you got going on literally made me laugh way too loud for it being 4am haha. Please don't take any offense if it's related to something personal. Trust me, I've lost both my parents myself. So I understand. But if you can't find any humor (or at the very least some sort of positive meaning) within the "bad" things in life, you can never fully appreciate the "good" things either.
Sorry for rambling on. One last thing...I've been meaning to watch Kara no Kyoukai. Is it really that good?
