That yellow machine has such a strange design...

Daidan is really a badass though. Definitely not a pushover for someone of his age. Also gotta admire Prax and her loyalty towards the princess. I hope we get to see more of her past besides that brief flashback. It looks like the other personality emerged again from the princess so it's going to be a recurring trend in the story.

So we know where the princess gets her split personality from now, but man it was hilarious that it showed up at the worst possible time lmao. Lutoh v Rekka is going to be wild, can’t wait to see how it plays out

The emperor shouldn’t be underestimated tho. Dude took out a Brightheight on his own.

YELP, who would've thought that Princess Fine would have a split personality? A kind princess that goes berserk is a recipe for disaster.

Dr. Conrad "Sola" Werner and Commander Prax...siblings? Guess all the hoopla about Princess Fine's split-personalty disease is just another backstory concerning in part of the ongoing mess between Lutoh and Rekka. Such a weird contraption to find a cure for Princess Fine, and now worse with Granedger held hostage as always.

Rekka's Emperor Zetsu Daidan sure isn't someone to be trifled with, and the Briheight fight between human and machine...is only part of the secret power that this old geezer withholds, a human with Conviction and no need for a Briheight mech.

The way that Princess Fine is able to be flipped a switch to her split personality, this invasion war is just inevitable at this point.

The doctor is definitely lying and Shu seems to know (seriously he knows everything, and his protection cloth LOL), but it's too early to tell if the doctor is good or bad or something between.

Emperor of Rekka and Princess of Lutoh are made for each other LOL. One with hidden overwhelming power and ambitious and one with hidden twisted personality. Princess of Lutoh doesn't show off her flying skill yet, but I assume it'll be flashy enough to counter Rekka.

Well I guess it was at least nice to get that backstory from the doctor for Princess Fine's double personality, even though it wasn't very credible, but now they're once again in a very bad situation with the villagers being imprisoned again

Sola shooting down Prax and Fine because he thought they were a bird seems really weird, that definitely seemed like an assassination attempt, but why? She apparently was the last in line out of 40 successors, but then somehow she ended up taking the throne anyway. Her alter ego appeared after she obtained the throne so maybe someone instigated the incident so while the princess was hospitalized, they could do some procedure that resulted in this split personality. Might not even be a split personality, but straight up mind control, those red eyes seem way too unnatural. The way the other personality came out when Zetsu declared war on them and how she wanted Demyne to find out how Arrow used a Briheight without conviction to boost their military strength, this personality seems way more than just an ax crazy alter ego. Anyway, it was nice to flesh out Sola a bit, establishing his motivation of wanting to cure Fine, since he’s mostly been in the background up until now.

Emperor Zetsu being able to destroy a Briheight without using one himself was pretty impressive, I guess that explains why he had no problem letting dozens of soldiers activate their Briheights in his throne room. Since Kai was able to notice Zetsu’s aura, that explains why he was shown sweating in his presence in episodes 3 and 5. Neat scene, a good way to establish Rekka as a threat for the upcoming war. He’ll probably be ridiculously strong when he actually chooses to use a Briheight and it’s a good way to assure the people of Rekka of his supremacy as well as boosting morale.

Zetsu’s power also counterbalances Lutoh’s ability to artificial enhance Briheights, speaking of which since Prax’s conviction is “Devotion to the Princess” that’s probably why her Briheight is the only one that benefited from artificial enhancement so far, giving it the ability to fly as she did in her backstory since Fine seemed enamored with flying.

Rekka`s part of the episode was actually pretty good, the emperor seems to be a pretty decent villain, old but somewhat of a baddass. Im honestly very excited about the war, it seems like it will be a fun time.
The rest of the episode tho, especially the first half, was not so good, every time this show tries to make me care about their characters it mostly fails, like out of nowhere the doctor is relevant, and i just laughed my ass of about his backstory, he seriously shot the princess because he thought she and Prax were a fucking bird ahahah like i cant be the only one who finds this so incredibly stupid right? And i dont care about the villagers nor the red haired girl, her problem just doesnt bring me any sort of emotion, mostly because there havent been many scenes with her being a good "village chief".
Although this episode was pretty inconsistent to me, with the start of the war i expect things to really pick up now.

Two relevant points here:

a) They've been hinting about the doctor for a while, so it is not out of nowhere. There's been small moments leading up to his intervention in this episode.

b) I'm skeptical. We're probably not hearing the entire story, he's leaving out something. Either he's intentionally lying, or he doesn't know what happened.

Ok, so the time has come for the kingdom of Rekka to kick the kingdom of Luthor's assess,

So, let me get this straight , Conrad Sola Werner and Prax were siblings????

Also, it was Werner himself who made Fine to have that Dr.Jekill and Mr.Hyde syndrome, all because he thinks he's shooting a bird, can't he even distinguish that Birds flap their wings and have feathers while a gilder doesn't and it would be made of canvass????? Man that rationale was just tooo damned stupid.

I still think that Dr,Conrad "Sola" Werner is still a person to watched out for.

a) I know that, its just that they were really small moments, and most did not hint at anything about a lutoh relationship i believe.
b) I hope your right, and i somewhat agree, but even then, the fact that he said it, made me laugh, so the sadness of the scene was gone and was replace by pure laughter.

The doctor is lucky to be alive and just got out with poisoned food. Normal would a public execution. And now because someone see "birds", the war will be worse.
Someone should just kill the old man, he just whine nothing is good to him, just negative things is spoken by him
Now that the cat is out of the bag, people will make peace and use the dreadnought to fight Rekka.

Prax, I thought you were against human experimentation...so blind loyalty to the princess matters more, then?

I actually suspected Sola (aka Werner) was hiding something and could be related to Lutoh's nobility but to Fine, not Prax (because Sola's hair color is closer to Fine's).

Prax also reminds me of Cornelia now. Did he really mistake the glider for a bird?

Poor villagers. I like how Shuu just bounced with his clothes when he fell.

One more silhouette to reveal on the opening and there more characters on the ending scene.

I'm guessing the silhouette is going to be Lutoh-related, while the ED does have more room for new characters than you'd think at a glance.

Looks like this is the final completed Opening as the official Youtube account finally posted it (?). Although it seems weird that there is another Fine-like sihouette.

Doctor's talk about mistaking them for a bird LOL I dont believe it a bit, it sounds so ridiculous and out of nowhere for something this serious. But seeing all unexpected stuff in the anime so far...I don't know, maybe it's true after all 😂😂 Wild guess only, but maybe Prax is the real princess and Doctor is Fine's sibling, lol.

The Emperor is not someone to mess with, now it makes sense why a person like Kai would follow him.

Overall, a pretty solid episode in term of plot and pacing, although I wish the animation would improve. The war comes earlier than I expected but it will probably the main theme for second course.

Well, everything turned out into such a worst scenario thanks by them knewing the princess split personality secret from A to Z. No wonder. The villager became the captives, and the old former chief obviously blame all the persecution into Arrow's hand. Yare yare.

The status of the Doctor as Prax brother kinda surprised me a bit. Then the backstory of the princess, Prax, and him surely such an ironic, as how Lutoh chose their ruler without having a good knowledge of their candidates. The way Fine awakening her love conviction in such a wrong form, well, thats why Lutoh also a messed up nation. Lol at the last scene of her when taunting Great Emperor Zetsu. Yep, even though the old man was truly a messed up monster. But, to think that he needed such a warn before launching the attack. Well, what a wise man.

I indeed curious about whose the last shadow one in the opening. Lets see...

I had a theory Doc also comes from beyond the wall but it turns out he is from Lutoh. I am not sure still about his backstory. There seems to be a lot more to him. Him thinking it was a bird is just too weird and retarded lmao.

That personality switch at the end was actually pretty awesome but damn she scary. Good episode, didn't expect Sola to be Prax's brother, I knew he must have some connections to Lutoh based on the last episode but damn I did not expect that. They do have the same hair color, his is just really lighter.

I wonder if Arrow will actually become stronger if he gets a conviction. Emperor Zetsu OP though damn, he can manifest his conviction without a briheight.

Sola mistaking the Princess and Prax as a bird is kind of ridiculous though, unless he's lying. Looking forward to the next episode.

Sigh...if you're really taking the "bird" thing literally, then I have a bridge to sell you.

Come on, does the show need to spell out that it's not the whole story? Very naive way of thinking.

That actually wasn't such a bad time for her tyrant personality to come out. Emperor Daidan values courage in battle after all, as we saw in the scene just before. And he wouldn't have stopped the invasion no matter what. Maybe if he sees that the princess will fight he'll be more cautious in the invasion, which is good for both sides. If the war drags on they could eventually negotiate.

As for the doctor with the crossbow, you never shoot when someone on your own side is in the line of fire. And you'd think he would hesitate as the bird he thought he saw hadn't attacked the kite yet.

Are we really going to be stuck here in this idiot kingdom for an extended arc? If we are, why are we doing cutaways to Ro3K land to watch some random thug job to the Emperor? How many random people in the cast are going to be secret runaway royalty who just didn't feel like mentioning it before this point? Why are we including Bit in these scenes if you're just going to have him scream about how badly he needs to take a piss?

Another very slow, very uneventful episode, I suspect because we've got to pad this out until the end of the season. They run away from Lizard Princess at the start and then… nothing. Like, all progression in the episode comes to a halt about seven minutes into the episode and the rest of it is dudes in rooms giving their backstories, or the little goofy show of the Emperor flexing against some random clown. Were we supposed to take that seriously, or was it supposed to be more of a Commodus vs Maximus kind of deal? I assume the former, but a decrepit dude waving his hand once and the burly mech man falling over isn't the display of martial might they think.

Another episode with a great deal of information! The doctor being from Lutoh was confirmed, but I didn't expect him to be Prax's brother!

Let's talk about Reka first. The emperor is very powerful and domineering, beating the mechs by hand, so it can be said that he is invincible. It is no wonder that almost all the people of Rekka worship him, and he is very good at using people, knowing that Minister Tae enriches himself, but still putting him in a great position because he knows Tae's cowardly side.

Then also revealed that the princess does have a dual personality. Currently, I don't know what is the trigger for the transformation of the princess's personality. Last episode looking up at the stars, this episode entering the secret room, and the emperor declaring war, all of which led to the personality transformation. Maybe there is another hidden story about the princess's illness. Also, it seems that the princess's evil side in this episode is nothing powerful and special except madness and rage, and her strength is similar to that of the injured Arrow. Her good side is nothing more than promoting love. I think there should be a lot of inside information about her as the head of Lutoh.

Another focus of this episode is the revelation of the doctor's identity and his past. From Prax's reaction, it can be confirmed that his identity is true, but in fact we can see from the previous episodes that he is suspicious (especially in the last episode he himself escaped ahead of time and then reminded Arrow). Honestly, this episode shows that he is quite cunning, and even Prax said that he is good at sophistry, so I don't know how much he told Prax was true. After running away with them, he told them what had happened at that time, but it was ridiculous to say that he regarded the glider as a bird! (Tell me another one! You were still smiling at that time! xD) I guess Shu realized it was unreasonable, but he didn't point it out. Plus the noctilucent ladybug that stopped at Shu's fan was definitely not a simple matter!

Here make a guess. It is possible that the doctor discovered the dual character of the princess very early, and then really wanted to shoot the princess, and then pretended to be an accident. However, the princess's evil side knew the doctor's intentions and poisoned him, but she needed a simple puppet like Prax by her side, so she may have reached some kind of agreement and exiled the doctor, who then fled from Lutoh to the village.

The princess getting the throne in such a slim chance is incredible. Maybe there is some force behind the scenes, perhaps from outside the walls, and it is possible that this force has led to the dual personality of the princess. Maybe the doctor was also manipulated to shoot the arrow. What are your thoughts?

In the last episode, the princess looked more like Cornelia than Prax in this episode, but yep. I never thought that if we make Cornelia as handsome as possible, we will get an ax crazy version of Utena. In fact, I can understand why Prax is obsessed with the princess as a hyper-protective mother, but the accents of this episode give it some insanely villainous context, as if they want to tell us that Prax went crazy and turned into a near-butch yandere.

We've seen the doctor react, visibly or audibly, to mentions of Lutoh at various points.

You could make a small list, by rewatching earlier episodes with an eye towards it.

He was also the odd man out in the village cast, compared to the rest of the crew.
