Have a great one!
I haven't seen Fairy Tail yet. Is it good?
How's your day going?
(Also, I’m you’re doing well, and thanks for the compliment) I guess so since thinking back on the events, I really start to enjoy them but when I rewatch the anime (or read the whole manga, whichever comes first). I guess it really is, but I won’t deny that it didn’t break me. Really? I thought by that age you would have look stone-faced towards it. OH yeah that episode ruined me as a kid, I never seen a protagonist die, and seeing that happen was basically Armin’s reaction. I was also attached to him with my personal problems at home, at the time, which made me drawn really close to him. Yeah, studio pierrot just always does this kind of stuff with their anime like Bleach is their best-looking anime, but one arc had four to five filler arcs so they’re just a bad studio. I do agree with you as I could say the beginning is not the best, but when you’re reading the manga it’s just fun to read it. I did enjoy Haikyuu as that anime is a near-masterpiece with how great the characters are. Who are your favorite characters from Haikyuu?
I don’t personally like characters that love fighting, I respect them though, but Luck is insane. Like he just doesn’t love fighting, he IS fighting! Don’t know who that is, but I better find out soon. OH yeah, haha, you have to call him senpai but there’s something about them that speaks to me like there are the manliest of man, and it’s awesome. I do agree with you about Eren as he, basically, has to destroy everything he has build up in his life and do the same to others just to some people, and himself, freedom. Me either, if my theory is wrong, he will most likely be punished by society and the world, but even if my theory is right he will still be suffering internally. It really fits into the theme, Attack on Titan has set up were trying to bring peace or freedom, people will always suffer no matter which side it is and Eren and Renier are suffering the most. I do like the idea it’s just a bit rushed is all, and Yeah that was amazing like I understand Renier and all but seeing him get punch was beautiful. After I saw what MAPPA is doing with Jujutsu Kaisen, I now have complete faith in MAPPA for s4. OH really, I thought the change the composer, but I’m really glad they kept him on.
Haha, that was the same with me but I’m glad you will watch it at the very least.
Season 2 of Dr. Stone is going to epic especially the arc after, and I agree with you on how the anime was able to capture the music though I wish it was something like Jujutsu Kaisen, that’s asking for too much, and besides you deserve a good anime adaption after being a Black Clover fan.
Wow, really?! I never expected anyone to dislike like Beastars so please, go headed write why you dislike it, I will even watch the anime to see that. Now I have only read one volume of Beastars, and I thought it was OK but had the potential to be amazing. My least favorite anime is Higurashi no Naku Koro ni which is ironic since it has a remake this season. (or sequel? I don’t know and I honestly don’t care) It’s so horrible in so many ways that season 1 and season 2 had different sets of problems that I could detail every problem with it. It constantly tries to be, at the very least, good but then it just spawns even more problems. Higurashi no Naku Koro ni or When They Cry is an anime that should never be watched. Now you probably thought I would say Code Geass as I said I hated, but it’s not the worst as there is some good stuff in it that prevents it from being my least favorite anime.
I have watched Gurren Lagann, and I think it’s a good anime, not really a masterpiece but I can see why people think that. A bit off-topic, but Gurren Lagann and studio Trigger anime are ones that I either think are ok or good with the only expectation, so far, being Promare but I have my reasons for that being the expectation. Back on topic, Simon’s journey was truly brilliant with his ending to it being a sad but respectable end though Kamina is my favorite character in GL. I haven’t seen Psycho-Pass yet so I can’t say that I agree or disagree with you. Ida is an odd choice but I kind of understand what you mean like no way am I going to sit in assigned seats on a bus (If you don’t remember he did that multiple times, and I was annoyed, for some reason), and finishing season 1 of Code Geass, I understand why you mean like she’s really weird but also insane like at end of the season she’s about to launch a bomb which who knows what happens to that, but fuck her for adding even more chaos to the situation! Aside from Senku and Eren, Sasuke is one of my favorites of all time and in Naruto. Starting off with hate in his heart to learning about friendship, but just to be reminded of that very hated makes him go down a path of Solitude and destruction that makes me love his character. Very hard to decide my favorite female character as it’s between Tomoko from Watamote and Haruhi from Ouran High School Host Club as Tomoko is such an understandable character but also is a sad one how she has no one to talk to, but even if her failures on the friendship she doesn’t give up no matter what. Haruhi is an amazing person for how she doesn’t discriminate against others and has no hatred for others if they do her wrong. My least favorite characters come to mind very easily for male and female, and that’s Yuki from Mikkai Nikki for being a selfish brat who is pathetic but does nothing to change, and betrays others, even when they’re to help them. For female, it’s Sakura from Naruto as she’s like Yuki but even worse because she’s selfish and has expected everyone to love her. I could go back in-depth for Sakura but that’s spoilers so just watch Naruto and you will see what I mean.
That’s a bit odd that it was the SAO abridged that was your first anime though have did you finish it and did you watch the original SAO? These are all odd choices to me like opm s2 got you into more anime which was a downgrade from s1, but I guess it doesn’t matter as you got into anime so that’s all that matters. Then you’re similar to me as it was just youtube for me, but I really tried to watch western TV and anime but western TV was so bad to me that I gave up on it and only watch anime now. I’ve heard of Nolan, but I haven’t seen any of his work. I do want to watch more movies, but I don’t have a lot of motivation to watch any. Ever since I was a kid, I have seen anime as the first I ever seen was Beyblade, Yo-Kai watch, Bakugan, Doremon, and Pokemon but when I discover what the word anime and what it’s used for that was Attack on Titan and Black Bulter. This leads to your new question as it adds to how I discover anime. So my classmates were talking about Attack on Titan during my 6th year in school, and I asked my first girlfriend (and last currently) about what they were talking but she didn’t tell me and instead told me to watch Black Bulter instead. I was seen as an innocent kid in her eyes and, knowing Attack on Titan, she divided my attention to a different anime. I got home, and using the website she recommended kissanime (R.I.P.), I put Black Bulter but that odd thing about that day, the thing that has puzzled me for such a long time, as a kid I stop 5 seconds into it and wanted to know more Attack on Titan. I really was blown away by it and watched it every chance I got (never finishing Black Bulter) which lead me to watch more anime. I tried to have a balance between cartoons, regular TV shows, and movies, and anime but I put all my focus on my anime after I got sick of the other two which leads me to continue watching anime and only anime.
Ah yes, Jujutsu Kaisen anime adaptation is amazing and they’re adding new details that just enhance the story. I have 32 chapters of the manga, owning the first three volumes, and I think it’s pretty good though the arc I’m on is good but could be better as the previous arc was amazing with my one of my favorite page spread in all of manga where the main two villains are laughing at Itadori. Ah, so you’re a Bleach fan then what are your thoughts on Bleach and Burn the Witch?
Glad to hear that though I can’t say the same since I got a really bad haircut and it was my cousin’s birthday. (It’s a really bad haircut). That’s unfortunate to hear, but what’s an adult life like?
Well, I have been reading all of WSJ (though a bit behind) but here is my ranking from best to fine since I don’t dislike any of them. Also * means I’m behind.
Best: One Piece
Dr. Stone
Chainsaw Man
Undead Unluck*
Agravity Boys*
Moriking*
Jujuatu Kaisen*
Mashle*
My Hero Academia
Mission Yozakura Family
Magu: God of Destruction*
Ayakashi Triangle*
Hard Boiled Cop and Doplion*
Average: Kaiju No. 8
There are some I didn’t include because there are not enough chapters for me to make a judgment on, and I didn’t include Black Clover since I’m about to read the whole next arc.
Welcome to Irabu's Office is an amazing episodic anime that really drives home the themes that everyone has problems and is suffering internally, but the only way to fix those problems is that we recognized it is a problem and solve it ourselves. It’s one of the few episodic anime that I enjoy so I recommend it.
There wasn’t too much I was looking forward to as I like to watch the episodes with no context so the next time I reply, I can tell you all the ones I’m watching but there were some I was looking forward to. I was looking forward to Noblesse but then I saw the first episode and it was so bad that I don’t know if I want to continue watching it. I was looking forward to Higurashi no Naku Koro ni remake as I thought it would improve, but then it turns out it was a sequel, and now its crap so you know. But Jujutsu Kaisen delivered on how good it is and I love it so much. The only one that I haven’t see that is a new anime is Yuukoku no Moriarty which I have high hopes for.
I ask the same questions to you, but some new questions are:
Do you have any other hobbies?
What are some anime that disappointed you or are overrated?
What are your favorite OP/EDs?
Why do you like Kill la Kill so much?
Has anime ever motived you to do something?
Have you seen any of the other Mahwa anime and if so, what do you think of them?
Who are your favorite protagonists and antagonists?
Have a great life moving forward, and I will patiently wait for your reply.
I agree with you! I honestly thought it was even better than the manga (and it's hard for me to think that).
I hope so! For me, it feels like it's going to have the same success as Kimetsu (or I hope). It has the perfect shounen formula, and good animation
DUUUUUUUUDEEEEEEE. What. An. Amazing. Episode.
I really liked it! Watched the whole thing smiling, and the new voice actor for the new characters are doing such a great job
Miyano as Atsumu really made me happy and I liked their animation a lot!
This game is going to be long and good
What are your thoughts on Jujutsu adaptation? :)
How are you? :)
My favorite character is Yami, for some reason he feels like a Shounen Jump protagonist making it to the top and raising the next generation. But my second favorite character is Magna Swing as I love all delinquent characters, and the best waifu is Noelle Silva. Who are your favorite characters?
Hmm... It took a direction I never expected with Eren basically performing genocide. During this last arc, I begin to lose faith in Eren wondering why he was doing all of this until those last two chapters explain his thought which regains my faith but also felt sorry for him. He hates that he's doing this, he hates that he had to do all of this but he knows, and we know, that this is the only way to help him and all of the other characters. I sort of have mixed opinions on all of the characters coming together to stop him in the case that I feel its a bit rush but I guess this fits in the theme that they're all running out of time and they have to stop him. Tho if you're wondering how I think the story will end, I think that Eren will succeed with Armin by his side. Both hating what they're doing but knowing its for the greater good with the last panel either being Armin or Eren, tearing up with the words and holding the baby, "You are Free" I think it will be a great ending as its a loop to where Armin and Eren were talking about freedom, and now both finally accomplishing that but not with their heads held high. What do think of the recent developments and how do you think the manga will end? Also, do you have hope for Season 4 as the studio changed?
A tickly one since Evangelion had an emotional impact on me so it's hard to recommend it as unless you like the characters or relate to them, I have no idea how you would feel about it. But I think you should still watch them experience them to see how you would like them. So watch Nge first than End of Eva but don't skip the last two episodes of Nge as they are very important to the movie. I also recommend to binge them in the sense of finishing what you're watching with leaving Evangelion the only thing to watch as if you like or not should only be decided after you finish the movie as the movie is a mind fuck and it's a masterpiece of a film. But do what you want.
You would think its Attack on Titan or Evangelion but its Dr. Stone (with my favorite character being Senku) as I think its an amazing story with amazing themes but having a great surface enjoyment. There this theme in Dr. Stone that makes it a masterpiece to me, the glory of humanity as western movies try to put in your mind that Humanity sucks and we should die which gives me a sense of inferiority until Dr. Stone explains why humanity is amazing. My favorite moment is Senku explaining to Chrome everything humanity has done, with Chrome finally bursting into tears. Senku asks why he's crying and Chrome explains that everything we have done is all gone with billions of work wasted but Senku replies that all that knowledge is still within both of them and it creates this one hidden fact about Humanity, that we are great, that even with all that bad stuff happening right now we can push forward and pessimistic will only push us down. Even right now with the shit year that 2020 has been, there is still glory there and we can push forward. Tsukasa is the embodiment of pessimism and Senku is the optimism of humanity with each of them beating it out and it's beautiful seeing Senku win with the one message that Humanity is great, we just like to ignore it.
Sorry for the very long comment, it's just I had a long to say so I hope you enjoyed it, Though I also have some questions for you:
What's your least favorite anime and what's an anime that you dislike but others love?
Who are your favorite/least favorite characters, male and female?
What got you into anime and do you still watch western movies and TV shows?
What are you looking forward to for anime and manga?
Finally: How was your week and, if you're doing school, what's it like for you?
I hope this comment sees you well!
Also:
Where are you in the Attack on Titan's manga?
What are your favorite/least favorite arcs, aspect, characters, moments, and fights in Attack on Titan and Hunter x Hunter?
Does Black Clover get better? I ask this as I'm watching the anime.
Also, I pity you for having to wait two years for one chapter for Hunter x Hunter.
