| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Now it's Inarizaki gaining their ground in the match. I like this back and forth rivalry that shows the best from both sides. Seems the audience is also on the edge of this thrilling match to see who will win. The plays from this match had some coordinated blocks but also close calls with a close gap in score. I love how some of the guys laugh it off this episode to enjoy themselves. |

| They are strong but #2? According to a teacher, they are unstable that cannot win... w. the air that main team might lose, main guy saves the day w. the training he has done became useful. The eyes... Both persistent, but still cannot win. (wait, legs are allowed?) Main guy is the one who cheered everyone who got depressed up. Twins describing him as having a meal. 3 more eps. Quiet king? |

| YES ! YES ! YES ! THIS IS THE HAIKYUU I FELL IN LOVE WITH ! Finally we had a play where I had to hold my breath because of how fucking intense it was. Not only was there actual great animation, but they really nailed the rythm which is what I think hurt the match the most this season. Each shot flew extremly well into the next and noone was left room to breath with. Oh man that Hinata receive oh god that was so great. I hope the rest of the season is as good because it's the only way I could give it above a 6 or 7. |

| EPIC, just epic, incredible episode. Easily the best episode of the season so far, intense, exciting and full of energy. Absolute fantastic show from the boys of Karasuno and Inarizaki as well. Reverse play by the twins with Osamu setting and Atsumu spiking was awesome. Atsumu's aerial spike and then the aerial spike fake was amazing too, Osamu fake spike into set was epic too and then Hinata's absolutely incredible receive. I was slouching on my couch while watching this but the moment Atsumu and Osamu made those plays, I instantly sat up straight on the edge of my couch. Pure awesome. The entire rally was fantastic, production and direction was so on point there too. Can't stress how awesome Hinata's receive was. Too bad the rally ended in Karasuno conceding the point. I love how at the time out Hinata is like, 'Did you see that?' 'Did you see that?' xD The last bit of commentary between Osamu and Atsumu about how it looked like Hinata was enjoying food was great. Karasuno look fired up at the end, this next few episodes are gonna be awesome if they keep this up. |

| NICEEE RECEEIVEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!! Goosebumps throughout the whole episode ever since that long awaited clean receive. Also can't forget the philosophy bomb Osamu dropped this episode on Hinata's hunger. A Haikyuuesque way to end the episode. |

| Man. This episode was so freaking intense. Inarizaki makes deadly comeback. Then it was like who is going to get the ball to drop first. Then after a long struggle it looks like their spirit is broken easily after all that hard work. Then Hinata making that receive and bragging about it then the Miya twins make that hunger speech that Hinata is having. Just like that. That "hunger" theme has been a big presentation with Hinata ever since this season and showing it again is pretty much saying that is not a joke at all because Karasuno is not breaking down at all after Hinata helped them out with that. |
| This was the best ep so far! The focus back on Hinata's love and determination for volleyball is what has been missing. I love the observers at that "receive" moment. His joy at the timeout was perfect and believable. I laughed out loud at Kageyama's refusal to acknowledge Hinata. The twins' musings on meals and hunger for volleyball was a great close. Yay for Oikawa next week! |

| so happyyy to see Hinata back in the game/spotlight. i lost it when Hinata and Tanaka tried to block what they thought was Atsumu's dump :(( but then Daichi receiving Atsumu's killer serve and scoring a point was greattt. when Miya twins did their trick and Aran was spiking the ball, i totally thought "wow, too bad Nishinoya isn't in the rotation, otherwise Karasuno would've been able to receive that." but then Hinata received it and it was magical!! lmao the ending was cute. Karasuno was so upset, but Hinata brought everyone's mood up. also, I loved Osamu's observations. |
| osamu's change from spike to set was pretty amazing! i honestly felt like i could feel karasuno's spirit breaking through the screen in this ep lol :( hinata's receive was great and the episode definitely improved after that moment! i thought it was nice to see a receive get special attention since it's usually the serves/spikes/blocks that are glamorised :) the point after hinata's receive was definitely intense.. overall, good episode! the start was kinda painful to watch tho icl lol |
| This was a great episode, absolutely loved it. This episode on its own is a 5/5. I’ve been contemplating bringing my rating as a whole for this show down since it’s been OVER 9 episodes since this match started, but this episode has made me delay that. I’ll have to see what happens in next weeks ep. Hinata is obviously the mvp of the episode love how he “brought up” the spirits of everyone else. Kita’s claps after every play is everything lol it’s so cute Can’t wait for the next episode^^ |

| This season in general has been hard to watch, but despite the production still not blowing me away visuals wise, at least the match finally had some good moments to it. Easily the best episode of the series along with the Tanaka one. I'll raise my score from a 3 to a 4 now, hoping the rest of the series finishes strong. |
| I officially forgave the studio for the shitty ep 2. It seems like they used all their resources for these last few episodes. This episode was everything that I fell in love with in first place. This is Haikyuu. Hinata received the ball not once but twice. I’m proud. Kenma’s proud. Everyone’s proud. Also being the sunshine he is, he managed to motivate the whole team. Time for payback. Oikawa next episode? I wasn’t expecting that. I wonder if the whole episode will be about him. Well, we’ll finally be able to see Oikawa in season 4 art style, something to look forward to. |

| Well I'm gonna say this, half the episode was great the other half not so much. First half very, very boring however the moment Hinata made the receive that is when this episode took a turn for the better. Great rally but point lost by Karasuno. Even if your spirits are shattered Hinata will be their to raise your spirits and fill your life with fun, joy and passion. Well one person hungry now everyone's hungry. Hopefully the episodes to come will be just as exciting as the second half of this episode! Good episode :) |

| Hinata's receive was amazing! Really disappointing that they didn't get the point but that scene gave me the chills. It was really cool to see it animated! Also Oikawa's ear gave me so much serotonin. Never thought I'd type something like that before... |

| Best episode of the season. Hinata finally gets his chance to shine and it was great. I am also liking how the characters on the other team have been portrayed recently, especially the two brothers. They feel like good, unique characters that are not just lesser versions of past opponents. This season has been inconsistent for Haikyuu! standards, but I think this season has finally turned the corner to being what we all have come to love about the series. |
| YES HEISUKE!! SHOW EVERYONE!! AAAAAAAAAA Ah, nice to see Omimi channeling some of that Tendou energy!! Omimi to Tanaka, “He’s a weaker Bokuto” lolol won’t argue there but 😤 I love Tanaka. That Miya twins reverse quick was amazing. I almost feel like Atsumu did a third meter spike judging from the way the ball bounced but I’m not sure. “We don’t need the memories”— Inarizaki’s slogan has some real deep meaning behind it which was very interesting to see. The rally in the middle of the episode was epic. Akagi with that foot save— I love the Inarizaki libero. Atsumu and Osamu did two sets in a row! And Hinata receive was godlike. The way he tumbled backwards shows you how powerful that spike from Aran was, and he received it! Also cool cuts showing past moments and players from other teams! Hinata’s really improved. Actually, all of Karasuno have really become stronger this season. Osamu’s speech towards the end was good. Excited for next week’s episode! |

| Been said a lot already, but I feel this episode was easily the best episode of the season! It gave me the same exhilarating rush I felt when reading these jaw-dropping points in the manga that I felt most of this season lacked. Reliving that final point was sick as hell! May the rest of the season maintain this quality, please! |
