| Those guys from Noir turned using chainsaw, juggling and extracting into methods of cooking. After showing everyone's dishes for a brief moment we are on to the next round. Souma vs. Sarge, it's cake baking time! Sarge used non-standard methods like blowing the cake inside an oven... okay. We got to see Souma make a dessert for once, that cake looks so delicious~! |

| Honestly the chainsaw became one of the few major problems for a lot of people especially for me. How can one really cook with a chainsaw? I seen a lot of special knives in this series but the chainsaw knife? What? Unless there is such a real life source of cooking with a chainsaw then hell I think I can believe it. |

| Between that Esdeath wannabe, the fat clown and the other weirdos, I almost thought I was watching Akame ga Kill at some point lol. The chainsaw + explosive oven combo was ridiculous even for this series, so were the other Noirs. Seems like the author run out of ideas and decided to resort to weird shit for this arc xD Anyway, cannot wait for Souma to make that thot foodgasm next episode. |

| Yikes, so this is when the series takes a dive down huh? Sloppy episode, to say the least. Noir's power levels and abilities more so than anything is just absurd now plus the plot progression feels iffy now. Another thing that bewildered me a little, and I know this has happened in previous seasons too but certainly didn't leave as strong an impression, was the fact that she managed to make that cake along with that unorthodox making by the time Souma finished shopping. So roughly say 15-20 minutes at max. Might as well make it an hour competition instead of 3 long hours, xD. Anyway, the pacing seems to be sprinting like the usual this season but here's to hoping we get a good conclusion to this match-up at least next week. |

| I've looked at the entire episode with a frown expression after seeing the Noir members in action... I don't know why the writter would think of something so ridiculous like this idea would work out and make a chainsaw as a tool for cooking. What was he thinking?? It's crazy! I wasn't amused by this episode, only liked to see the finished dish creations. I can see why many fans have dropped after watching this arc :/ I'm crossing my fingers so that Yukihira can pass and move forward. The Noir members are really out of this world! ^^; |

| This is where the noir-style of cooking takes logic and simply throws it off a cliff. Sarge, the Esdeath reject, using a chainsaw to cook up beef and also for a Christmas cake is really stupid, but amusing at the same time. It does, sadly, show as to why a lot of people disliked this arc, though. =/ Either way, Sarge's Christmas cake was prepared by her chainsaw, sledgehammer and a bomb detonator that would've had Megumin's seal of approval and the overall looks of her cake is really good. However, Soma used all of that time to go back to the convenience store for the previous episode to prepare his own dish. Although his "chainsaw" was a wooden spoon, the end result does look pretty nice. We'll find out who'll win this fight in the next episode, however predictable it might be. |

| Can we still consider this cooking? A chainsaw, sledgehammer and explosion. Sigh. To think that Shokugeki no Souma was once one of my favorite Anime series, but oh how wrong I was about this arc. I honestly went in with the thought "It can't be as bad as the Manga readers make it out to be"... 6 episodes in and well, fuck this shit XD I am too deep into this to drop it now! Let's see what kind of shit show this will become futher down the line. Souma sure does it his own way again and even went to the convenience store again for his dish, this dude amazes me every time! To think the first season is one of my all time favourite shows lol.... Sucks that we don't see much cooking and actual prep compared to the first 2 or 3 seasons, it's all a bit of a sprint now... |

| Well, it seems everything has become so over the top (in a bad sense) that's ridiculous, and the pacing is Sonic speed. It's amazing how something so fastly paced has made me become sleepy during more than half the episode, and felt like being 1-hour long instead of 24 minutes. My expectations were low, but the show has managed to disappoint me even more, lol. And this episode had so many flaws I'm too lazy to start mentioning them. |

| Idk if there has ever been a point in any manga in history where you can so blatantly and clearly tell that the mangaka literally just stopped giving any semblance of a fuck, but here we are. Re-living these moments in anime form really has me facepalming and also laughing at the sheer absurdity xD wanna perfectly season your steak, or bake that perfect cake? Just casually pick up a fucking CHAINSAW and go to town lmao. Next time I go to a restaurant, if the chefs aren't preparing my food with chainsaws, sledgehammers, and fuckin explosives I'm leaving a 1 star review, sorry I don't make the rules. |

| The Noir guys are so over the top that I can't get invested in the story. The only enjoyment I got from this series is just paying attention to the OST alone, which I honestly believe it needs to be more praised |
