| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Hmm, this is giving me a Kantai Collection vibe. Not bad for an OP song. I do like how creative the world looks though. Plus, we have plenty of characters introduced already. There's also the idea of the mysterious enemy in their world. Looks like the epsiode introduced Enterprise and Akagi too. Definitely going to keep an eye on them for this show. Oh and I also kinda like the battle music/OST used for this episode. Entertaining start. |

| The storyboarding is pretty bad. It often shows us an action without a set-up shot showing us where it came from nor a follow-up shot showing us what it results in. It's mostly just scenes of people shooting and scenes of people getting shot, with no causal relation between the two. I guess the director simply couldn't manage to choreograph a battle like this while having to make sure every character get a shot. Anyway, all I knew about this franchise were from doujin hentai. Since it's not really sexy nor is it passable as action show, I'm dropping it. |

| Didn't expect the fox sisters to appear so early, they where hell to grind in the game but worth it, powerful combo. Enterprise wan't a surprise tho seeing she was on the cover, personally my feelings are a bit neutral to her but she is really powerful in the game and worth having in one of your fleets. Anyway the episode was ok. It kinda resembles the attack on Pearl Harbour but historically Prince of Wales was sunk 3 days before the attack on Pearl Harbour making her appearance ironic. |

| Average, I love the game for several reasons but the anime is nothing special. Too many bad animes are coming for many years already. As fan its possible to watch this one, for people who don't play the game its probably a terrible anime |

| Just finished watching the sub on Funimation. So far I'm having a good time, and it looked better than I expected. I like the ships flying, because it offers more variety and possibilities for dumb Rule of Cool fun than the KanColle anime had. I don't particularly care for most of the game's "main cast," so I've been hoping the anime would bring me around on some of them. | meh not feeling this one even the action sakuga is average at best, nice use of 3D animation for those camera movements though it got a lot of lolis too that i do not prefer (not hating on them though i just prefer mature adult women) Enterprise is sexy hot but damn that is all lol |
| Love that episode,, Only females,great action and music ,And some lesbian breast grabbing!!! The story is stupid as always , but dont care much to be honest!!!As long their is females only Im going to be very fucking happy! Super cute girls riding unicorns is a huge plus =P this have everything im so impressed!!And that was a really fun start .I give you 9/10!! Locking forward for next week!!!  |

| despite it being pretty rushed I liked the first episode, the action was pretty decent and okayish animated. For someone who is used to the game design some of the characters here look a bit weird at first sight especially Akagi and Wales imo. Love how they use so many ingame lines and all in all it's just great seeing the girls finally animated, this will be a fun ride |
| I found it terribly bad, so much characters everywhere, some characters heads are distorted, the story isn't original at all, the abuse of light is stabbing my eyes and that awful CGI wolf coming out nowhere... I hope this will gets better in the next episode but for the moment i'm not liking it at all. |

| Enterprise was awesome, really good design for me and badass too. Everyone else were meh, and the show's first episode wasn't that great for me. Pretty boring, and I felt like the animation could've been a lot better since some CG and even frames at times looked sloppy. |
| Duh. The AL 1st ep. was kinda meh. I mean good fights, but animation lack sometimes compatibility and storytelling out of nowhere. Also facepalms moments in forcing plot story (like you know, they can deal with smth in few secs - the main strongest ships was there in area, but not on screen (dunno, maybe they have tea when they attack them and doesn't care about base at all?) I'd watch it anyway, but disapointing start... And I have watched just before AL 1st ep of other seasonal anime - "Ore wo Suki nano wa Omae dake ka yo" which was so good and I love it so far after 1st ep. So have high expectations but they went low. And hearing these girl quotes in game 1000 bilions times and then same quotes again in anime makes me cringe. |

| Since the game is from China I'm just going to see this a Chinese KanColle Moe Shifu Edition spin-off with potentional ARA ARA kemonomimi skipfu's feat. Maria Naganawa making once again some cute loli sounds. Guess I'll enjoy this somehow even I don't even have a phone that can play all these games nowadays. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ |

| KanColle's production committee hired studio Diomedéa, who had already been producing TV anime for ten years at that point. As I just wrote above: nDroae said: Azur Lane will be Bibury's first ever TV anime. Aside from budget, perhaps part of why might be the reported 2-year wait to get an anime made? (Apparently every studio's schedule is booked that long, due to high demand and lack of workforce.) If Manjuu/Yongshi/bilibili or whoever were in a hurry to get this anime out, new and unproven Bibury may have been the fastest available option. | It's okay but i hate it when Akagi basically explained the plot and their motives, and she also announced a declaration of war after the attack (i guess it's a reference to Pearl Harbor?). Having the real counterpart ship of the characters and made them their equipment is a good decision to make the characters more tied to their origin. |

| This was an interesting episode of KanColle Azur Lane I personally have never played the game. The unicorn caught me by surprise. Didn't expect it to become actual horse size.  |

| I honestly found this really entertaining. We definitely have some great looking characters. I can see this getting a bit boring down the line, but I feel it had a great start. |

As a general but not absolute rule you will see lolis as mostly destroyers or subs. Lightcruisers and above go from teens to milfs. ok i might give it a chance then |
