| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Hmm, this was a strange start. I think the animation quailty may take some time to get used to. I guess the opening song is catchy? What I'm interested in the most so far is the world setting and how they plan to focus some of its themes with the characters. First half of the episode is pretty normal to me with the focus on characters' school and causal lives. Pacing picked up and we got demonic-like mech attacking the students. Not sure how I feel about this yet. It could easily be a hit or miss this season. |

| I've seen more eps by now, but the first episode was a good introduction to the setting, premise and main cast. I thought the 3D quality was nice enough most of the time. Not a ton of action, but I wasn't lost when we got to see the first appearance of the enemy. The protagonist is a very misguided fellow. I enjoyed seeing him get his hopes up only to be confronted with a more difficult reality. He isn't lying about Milo, on paper, and we see enough of the past to understand his motives...but his obsession is making him annoying. The show realizes this and has the other kids act more naturally as a contrast to Daisuke. |
| I've seen up through episode 10 and can confirm that this show is fantastic and top-notch quality. Prepare for feels as well. Definitely a hit for the season, and might he a 10/10 for me depending on how it ends. |

It's centered around the plot and character development, so if you're looking for 15 minutes of action in each episode, unfortunately you won't find it here. |
| I feel sorry for Daisuke. He learns that he will have to protect everyone in the future, so he's being so overprotective. It's getting himself in trouble despite his good intentions... A butterfly knife and a tactical pen? I'm surprised Daisuke hasn't been suspended from school yet... Hmm, no wonder why Daisuke believes in Milo more than anyone else. He was the one that was put in danger. Milo...is an android? And she somewhat remembers the name of Dojima Daisuke? Are we pulling a Terminator here? Whoa, haven't seen a Mech like a String Puppet in a long time. It's a small mech where you can see the person inside of it with his limbs partially exposed. Question now is will Daisuke know how to use it from the get go, or will he have to improvise? Well he has been working out, so at the very least he can land some punches. Say what you want about CGI animation, but damn they make the movements of the characters really smooth and natural. And they're not holding back on the gore either. Glad I picked this up. Also, Milo is quite the looker, but I don't expect to see her as a romantic interest. She's like the Terminator while Daisuke is like John Connor. Hehe. Let's see where this goes. |

| Update; Daisuke, first entry of bad-ass main characters of 2019; all I can say that there is no drama between being hero and main character; he is openly embracing his new role as he have been preparing himself. I like his persona build. But, things are escalating quickly, no breathing time. |

| First episode was interesting. CGI looks good enough to me, characters movements look natural. Daisuke seems like an interesting character so far. |

| I kind of like the animation in this one. The CG blends in really well and the tone reminded me a lot of KADO and ID-0 (actually the director of this also did ID-0 so that makes a lot of sense). I can't get past this bit though, I absolutely despise the main character, because I thought at first that he was gonna be a joke. Considering how over-protective he is of people (especially women) and the fact that he's paranoid enough to carry knifes around, I'd assumed (or maybe hoped) the show was going to pull a subversy-verse and kill him off. But nah, looks like it's just the same rubbish power fantasy you see every other week. Sorry. I'm a bit disappointed after that. |

Of course, every anime is susceptible to be perceived as a power fantasy to an extent, unless it explicitly isn't...but I think the show itself indicates he is not exactly perfect nor unopposed. |

| The story seems really basic, but it's still watchable. Only the children are hand drawn. lol. And, they are far better animated than anything else. Protagonist looks like Shinji, and I am kind of disappointed that they are not very similar. I don't like Mecha, but I will give this a chance because I watched it without knowing and found the character designs and art-style nice, and the guys attractive. lol. |
| Pretty nice, seems like something up my alley. Just hope they don't try too hard with the plot and mess up eventually, I would rather prefer a character driven drama, but let's see. Guess I'm going to binge the rest this weekend. |

| Not too much to say about this episode honestly, it really feels like a miss or hit kind of a show already. Daisuke, especially, and his four childhood friends seemingly went through a traumatic experience years ago and it is through here we come to know that Daisuke will one day have to go up against Revisions, it seems, to protect himself and his friends from the future(whatever that really means). It is as such the prophecy where the five will have to come across a certain adversary to save the world, I’d imagine. However, the person who claimed all this went missing right after and now only Daisuke pays any attention to her farewell words. Poor lad, he’s always been super cautious and trying to prepare himself for that moment but obviously it’d prove to be a bother for the other 4. We got a short clip of him pulling off the most crazy attacks just for the simplest of mishaps, lol, and it’s obvious more than ever why the other four would find it bothersome. If anything, I feel like this set up of people considering him to be delusional and such was brilliantly done. Moving on, the prophesied event actually took place and he and the others were totally hopeless against it. Good thing we got a good mix of gore into this too and the amazing soundtracks of this episode really elevated the tension in the various scenes. Milo returns to save the day for the remaining kids after Marimari’s short bit brave little act. Looks like she doesn’t remember the kids, though Daisuke’s family name seems to be rather influential and pivotal(I hope we get more into all that soon). About Milo though, her appearance over the years has had no change whatsoever so I wonder if she’s some kind of an AI or something of the sort. String Puppets, not sure what to say about this peculiar type of Robotic material but I’m looking forward to seeing how Daisuke fared against the Revisions with this mech. 3D Animation of the episode was so-so at best really, the movements were smooth but I think I’ll just need some time to adjust to the 3D effects. So far so good, I suppose. |

| Seems ok so far. Somehow as children they looked better, but the animation doesn't bother me that much really. | Good heavens this is so trashy. Bad cg, bad character animations, unnatural voice acting (overdramatic at random points). the story so far is so cringey. and that 3d modeled bulge, wtf. I mean really, MC brings weapons to school; is a musclebuilding tryhard with all that exercise equipment; is overprotective of his friends against random people on the streets; constantly insists that sOMeThiNg TeRrIblE is going to happen one day; and feels like he should be prepared for any random event. EVEN IF YOU BELIEVE WHAT A STRANGER TOLD YOU 6-8 YEARS AGO OF WHAT MIGHT HAPPEN IN THE FUTURE, these are all unreasonable reactions. Have you ever wondered "huh, why are my friends treating me like Im delusional?" WELL MAYBE ITS BECAUSE YOURE FUCKING DELUSIONAL. |

| The CGI is at pretty decent level so I am not going to complain. Took me like 2 minutes to get used to it. The story so far is basic. Not bad not good, just basic. Looking forward to see how it unfolds. MC is a pretty deranged guy. Pretty paranoical but that the point I suposse. A moment when a big mecha-like alien appeared I was definitiely expecting to see some gore but it happened. But what is even more suprising Milo had prepared a mech for our MC in a heartbeat. How? She went from - who the fuck are you to cmon its ready in a flash. That was funny. Also the teacher was kind of a cunt, but you can see it coming. She looks just like this bitch from Mayoiga. |
| Well, that was fun... I mean, it was funny how the MC was so sure of his determination until he had to face reality. I know he had a rather traumatic experience when he was a kid but as someone said, his obsession makes him really annoying for my taste. That said, it's just the first episode so I hope he receives more development later on. |

| Enjoyed the first episode, the story is pretty cool. Also when the students started jumping to their demise & dying that was gnarly, took quite an unexpected turn The CG needs some getting used to.....it’s not that bad but I’m just not used to it |
