Whoa, this is getting a bit weird now with how the story developed or rather how the world sort of "changed".

I'm not sure the show will follow this type of concept of rest of the season but it's definitely more interesting than I was anticipating. That fortune teller seemed kinda shady though. I wonder if we'll get some sort of real antagonist in this show too.

This was definite step down from the last episode. Felt like half of ep 2 was just an exposition dump on how parallell worlds work. I really dislike when shows treat their audience like idiots, and if next episode is more of the same I'm dropping this

Just drop it now if you can't handle this few explanation dump. For me this is necessary for the story and to know how the world works in this story is a good thing.

Obvious evil fortune teller is evil. Or at least planning something.

Well this episode was interesting. No monster-fighting this time but it seems Nana is getting too caught up in her alternate self's life.

Nice we get the exposition out of the way this early.

Really? I mean they spent like 5 minutes explaining how parallell worlds are sort of like our own world only slightly different. Complete with a character outright saying this instead of, I dunno maybe use the visuals since anime is a visual medium? She even used a blackboard to lecture the audience directly! That to me says "our audience is too stupid to read between the lines so we just told them the story".

Like it's cool if you enjoyed this episode, you do you, but I really don't see how that section was necessary for the story, much less how anyone could consider it "a good thing".

The cast sure got sent to quite the strange world this time. Running into another version of you was quite the shock though. So every time they travel one of them will become the link and thus be part of that world until departure. Seems Nana had a lot of pent up frustrations that was hidden beneath her surface persona. Guess after out who her fiancee was Nana's doubts vanished. A decent episode that expanded on Nana as a character while expanding on the theme and concept of parallel worlds. Looks like the girl's mission just changed though.

wtf. This was like the most concise explanation of the topic I've seen in anime.

Glad they're going to be going to places other than yellow-snow land. Looks like being the 'link' can be a little dangerous, considering that it seems likes she's slowly conforming to that world, either psychologically or because of the way the system works. I'm on board.

Hmm... I like the design but the story feels like it lacks something's, like something's missing... will give 1 or 2 more chances.

I don't know if this anime is right for me =_=

Steins Gate and Rewrite explain the timeline stuff way better than this show, and I don't think this series is gonna really explain enough down the stretch, either. The setup was interesting, but so far, nothing else has been particularly engaging, imo.

I feel like I'm watching an anime from the early or mid 2000's. It just feels so dated for some reason?? Not that it's horrible, the premise is somewhat interesting but just the characters designs and animation, I dunno. :'s

It looks like Nana ain't planning to leave this world anytime soon, I wonder how will the girls convince her since she is marrying a famous person she always admired. The girl is in love.

I wonder why That Asuka is traveling these parallel worlds, but if I had to guess maybe its because of this Kyohei brother of hers who disappeared.

Interesting...

This episode was a bit more interesting than the previous one, I hope they keep exploring more parallel worlds.

Nana's reactions were pretty naive, it shows that she is 16 years old.

...what an amazing episode.
So girls travel to 6969 world that is dominated by patriarchy and where law forces young girls to marry at age of 17. Nana gal is first like "I ain't no marring any filthy male" and becomes probably the first member of metoo movement in this world. But then she meets her future husband and he is hot, famous and rich so everything is fine now. Yeah! F you original world, Ima getting that D!

That's a lot better than the chuuni action shit from last ep. Oh, there's another one of those things...

So how come there wasn't any assimilation in the last ep? If I had to guess probably something about that world not having alternate versions of them. Any other ideas?

The girls are dumb, they trust a strange person lol. It seems that the show have the timeline stuff. They are in a world where girls should get married at age of 17.

Maybe, Asuka is traveling due that his little brother's disappearance.

This episode was much better than the first but it still lacks something...I don't like the ending, it seems that the show will force a battle.

Judging by how the Battle Akane explained.

696.9 apparently "split" off from 533 (our Heroine's) world since 10 years ago.

This mean the "must marry at age 17" Law only happened after 10 years ago when the split happened...

Cause the law can't be earlier is 10 years before the split, the worlds were still the same as our heroine's world, which didn't have that law.

___ ___ ___

Also, apparently from being "joined into one" when they travel to different worlds...

Also, RIP World 696... from episode 1, those things don't die, they'll just keep on coming back and consume everything.

___ ___ ___

Ugh... this entire series pretty much reminds me of that movie "The One"

Why so serious

IMO it was fine, it is quite interesting. I'm glad they are not focusing on last episode's yellow world, fighting monsters there, it was quite lackluster last episode.

I belive the yellow world is not a paraller world, it's a void in between them.

This anime is incredibly generic and painfully predictable. I'll give it another episode or two, but there's seriously nothing special about it. Not only are the characters as cookie-cutter clones of basic archetypes as you can get, but the presentation of the multiple timelines story is about vanilla as I've ever seen. This honestly just feels like the drafted outline of a short story written by a high school student for a 30 minute creative writing exercise.

This episode in a nutshell.

On a more serious note, I think the show has potential. It has an interesting premise and there actually seems to be some sort of grounded rules behinds the travelling scenario. It's just that the writing and the characters currently don't hold up to the intrigue of the setting and the scenario. It might improve, let's see.

It's going beyond the usual cgdct & monster of the week, to go into parallel world mechanics, kudos for that. Some viewers maybe new to these sci-fi ideas so the short exposition was ok, and details are different.
Appears characters 'own' certain worlds/frequencies, so they merge when traveling, forming a link that allows the group to return. Ep1 the yellow world not owned by Seriousuka probably so Asukas didn't merge.
PreOp some art was terrible, but mostly recovered after. MC va pretty awesome too.
Not sure why folks so harsh on this new Dandelion studio. They're trying something a bit different.

But there's a paradox

If their brother stayed in another world, if they find him and get him back in their worlds, it means he never disapeared when he was younger, since she told them they came back at the same time they changed world in their native one.

(and it's kinda obvious she's searching for him)

But I must say the first episode was average as fuck but this one get better, too bad I think many people dropped it already
