| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Fantastic episode and what an ending! Things really do seem to go down with a big explosion and a semi happy ending (at least for Earth) but in general fantastic progression to Mars and that warp gate. Looking really forwards to the last episode to be honest! Really feels like a true Gainax series with all this space battle and epicness! |

| Oh boy. Intergalactic space battle (which is scarily similar to the one I saw in Getter Robo Armageddon, aka a much better anime), 9's sacrifice themselves but I never cared for them, and Hiro and Zero Two reunite (again, this time in reverse in contrast to episode 21). Then. Strelizia. Shin. Apus. What a terrible and nonsensical design. How does human FLESH appear on a robot???? How did it's form change when in episode 21 it didn't? I can't even....... |
| Ya fudged it, ya fudged it hard... I'll always have a soft spot for this anime but the climax had fulfilled the forbidden 3C "Cringe, cheese, and cliché" These three combined is enough to destroy a potentially good anime -as is the case here. This anime had built itself up nicely, admittedly, some things were reminiscent of other anime I.e. Evangelion; nonetheless, it had really held its own as a story and felt unique and different (even if this wasn't the case in actuality). |

| What the hell? What did just happen? Does this mean no happy ending? C’mon :/ We need a happy ending! I honestly don’t know what to say about this :/ I just hope it all ends well. To be honest I think nobody expected Darling to end like this, with epic huge space battles and 02 being a huge mecha and more weird stuff happening xD In the end, that kid got my respect, Alpha and his squad did a good job. That picture in the cabin <3 |

I’m gonna sound like an evil bastard but I don’t care. Lifeless Zero Two looks pretty cute with her mouth slightly opened and staring up at the sky. LOL at Hiro pairing up with Alpha, he suddenly realized that Zero Two wasn’t the only girl he could do it with. I ship it. A threesome. I’m surprised Hachi and Nana went with them and took that giant klaxosaur ship. I’m also happy to see a fleet of klaxosaur ships flying with them. In the HorribleSubs version, Apath turned into Apus lol. I was confused for a moment. Wasn’t expecting Alpha to sacrifice himself this early on. It’s great seeing Nana fight back and finally have resolve. In the last episode, she seemed helpless but this time around she’s the one telling Hachi to get it together. My OTP, Kokoro x Mitsuru having a dramatic moment of wanting to be together with a vegetable Zero Two by their side lol but I’m so happy they’re determined to start all over again and they both kept their rings! Strelizia’s true form is gorgeous, of course. Now Zero Two and Hiro are going to fight VAMPIRE in their own territory. This could end in many ways but I have a feeling Squad 13 might find a way to get through. |

| Still don't like the whole romance thing and this show is ending so I don't think I'll ever will. Funny how people change, when I joined MAL, I was big on romance and even more so a couple of years after, hell I gave SAO a 10/10 ffs but now I just think that most often than not, it ruins everything. I mean why does everything have to be so cheesy? I like the fights though I'll give it that. |

| The remaining Nines sacrifice, however, respectable it is wont ever make up for their past actions. Alright, I'm really glad that Hiro and zero 2 have decided that they're both will be going off to fight the VIRM in their own space, but I truly don't know how Zero 2's body could suddenly be transported into the apath/apus/alpha/afuck. How is the big ass head became Zero 2's head?! Well... I digress... Hell yeah! Mitsuru X Kokoro is starting to re-sail. I still hope that they both eventually recover their memories, but never the less, them loving one another is already some precious moments. I'll just say that despite the many objects present in the screen, the action animation handled them really nicely! |

| If you don't realize how bad this series is by now, this episode should have done it. This anime is now moving at light speed towards its finale destruction. It's actually impressive how much random crap they stuffed into one episode. I don't even have time to care about one thing as it's already moved onto the next. At least Gurren Lagann developed its scale appropriately, instead of 5 episodes in 1. What a "battle." Just a bunch of lasers firing from copy-pasta'd designs. Unit 13 struggled to engage 2 of them on Earth, and now there's hundreds/thousands. But thanks to the auto-win Exodius (aka Strelitzia Apus), it will auto-lock all enemy targets and instantly annihilate them. This anime is truly impressive on multiple levels. |

| Eh, mostly a boring episode. The "plot twists" if you wanna call them that were nothing out of the ordinary. Wonder how they will end it though since apparently 02 and Hiro are now gone? |

| HAHAHAHA, wait, just wait. Did Zero Two just turn into a spaceship? Seriously? What the actual... why couldn't she have just materialized in the cockpit with Hiro? Why did she have to become the ship itself? That is so outrageously dumb, I really can't believe whoever wrote this didn't slap themselves for coming up with it. Sheesh I heard this show became an absolute cluster but I am astounded. One episode left, how will this turd end? |

| big LOL @ hiro managing to connect with him that easily & that stamen/pistil "this feeling" talk i've missed all the sexual innuendos rip 9s :( the use of the picture book imagery is always so beautiful & sad.... when zero two tells him to stay away, i felt the pain in her voice, i think the two seiyuu standouts this episode were definitely zero two's & mitsuru's something that i don't understand & i find it so random & it's such a huge plot device this episode but i don't grasp it - why are they fighting in space???????????????????????????????????????????????????????? from my understanding in the mess that was 2 episodes previously they clearly stated they retreated after strelizia apus awoken but why did strelizia apus so obediently go with them to space & it was like in a limbo battle???? i don't get it clearly i missed something out it just seems like they brought this anime to space just for the sake of it i don't understand at all how they got there & why they are there it makes zero sense to me you know i loved ditf, it was a solid 9/10 for me i found it beautiful, the art and sound direction were perfect, every single episode kept me entertained & it started out so strong, i don't even watch mecha yet i really enjoyed their fights & battle scenes, i love the characters, their stories made me feel so much for them, they had such strong world building & well-written episodes in the first half such as zorome's focal episode episode 10 (the mum one) which REALLY stuck with me, i just loved it so much i know ditf gets a lot of hate, but these last few episodes have been so disappointing & to add on to this mess we know there's not much of a happy ending for hiro/zero two, they're just begging for people to hate this it's all so out-of-place & sudden for something that was leading to the finale, it feels like a rushed mess :( why did she have to turn into a spaceship...?...??....lol huh... i'm just wtf is that... also i love hiro with his blue horns & all but well clearly they don't have time to give us any answers to that & why he is so "special" to everyone unless they did & i totally missed that out too because everything is so confusing that photo of all of them at the end tho :'( |

| Good Episode...I really like Both Zero two and Hiro...they both are so good together...both of em kept their end of the promise when the time came...next episode is the series finale huh....gonna be really interesting now that they have gone into the gate |
| So they're finally in space and have new equipment looks good for them, Kokoro and Mitsuru isn't there and so is Zero Two's body and coincidentally Hiro connected with the Nine's This battle is looking bloody with a lot of explosions around Zero Two is constantly getting wounded back on earth and Hachi as well getting injured But finally, Hiro weirdly connects to Zero Two and became Strelizia, Then a portal appeared in front of them I guess the battle continues. |

| The last episode and now this one,in story wise it sucks I just didn't understand wtf is going on all of a sudden they say that zero two mind is in space? why did strelizia apus so obediently go with them to space in the first place and these people don't have any idea except killing Klaxosaur but now all of a sudden they are talking about some gate that only they can enter , leaving solar system and taking bomb with them like they know everything Did the princess left anything to them or does she shared any memories with them when they connected,idk it's just my guess and all of a sudden why that franxx became like zero two XD,so anything that's happening doesn't make any sense But on the bright side everyone doing their best for survival and supporting each other, mitsuru and kokoro's relation is getting better,ikuno also seems fine the old nana is back it's so good to see her,no matter how many times I see zero two and hiro together it will be always heart touching,and the group Photo in the last it's nice I Just want everyone to be always like this |
| Zero Two becoming a spaceship might be a very dumb idea but considering how the worldbuilding and plot development have been going on the last 4 episodes I actually kind of like it for the final battle. Now, about that portal though... |

| What the fuck happened. Zero-Two's body is petrified and then transposed into Strelizia, who is now a bizzare amalgamation of human and robot? Crazy stuff man. I think there would probably be a less wacky means to show her returning to the mech, rather than literally becoming it. |
