| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- They went to catch up, but missed. Showing Middle School time. They practiced during the Summer after that. lol @ schedule planned by Red hair guy and he himself says it's harsh. Main guy and Uchiyama-san's character had a moment together. They promised each other for "Free" match in the future. High school team. Talking about Uchiyama-san's character and a match that can everyone can participate. lol @ red hair guy arguing with another guy (Kimura-san's character) while searching for Uchiyama-san's character. Middle school time again. Uchiyama-san's character practicing too much and Main guy saved him. They are shocked at his speed. Both main guy and Uchiyama-san's character happen to forget something, so they met up on the way. Kimura-san's character trying to avoid getting him meeting them. |

| Hiyori is starting to piss me off. It seems that he is tryna keep Ikuya separated from his former teammates. I watched the movie and I was thinking that Ikuya's drama was over but it seems that there is another one here. Also, is he another Rin S1 2.0? |

| I voted that I liked this episode, instead of loved it... I would have loved this episode, if not for Hiyori trying to separate Ikuya from his middle school friends >< I won't judge Hiyori too much though, because he should have a reason for his behaviour LOL, and I assume Hiyori is behaving on behalf of whatever he thinks is best for Ikuya.... :/ I think that's life too, when you try and try to meet up with somebody, but you don't due to circumstances. Although, when Haru and Ikuya happened to meet later when they met on the bridge (Haru forgot his towel at the venue, and Ikuya left his phone at the restaurant he was at with Hiyori), that felt like fate to me. There were obstacles that prevented interactions at the venue, which should have been likelier for any meeting to happen, yet Haru and Ikuya met instead outdoors... :)) I like that Asahi's character stayed the same from when we saw him in middle school. Asahi immediately ran when Haru said Ikuya's name, but it was too bad that so many people were crowding the hallway, which blocked Asahi and Haru from reaching Ikuya. It's great that Sousuke saying he saw Ikuya swim at a tournament in the previous summer was what led Nagisa to sending Makoto a text message, about Ikuya probably being in the same building. I love that Kisumi was sitting beside Makoto at the time, so both men helped Haru and Asahi look for Ikuya. Is that random audience member a coach or a scout? He knew where Ikuya's swim team was seated, and he knew Haru only swims freestyle. Hmm... I'm not in love with Hiyori choosing to shoo our four friends away when they did approach Ikuya's schoolmates ._______. But at least we got to laugh when Asahi argued with Terashima LOL. Terashima has a nickname he dislikes, but poor Asahi created his own nickname that nobody uses xDD I like the moments we saw from middle school; very nostalgic. It was nice to see Haru, Ikuya, Makoto, and Asahi work hard during their summer training camp days. But it's too bad Ikuya pushed himself to swim so much, which led him to faint and then get hospitalized. :| It's too bad that Asahi moved again, and he didn't get to say goodbye before leaving the swim team. >< It seems Haru feels guilty because he left the swim club in middle school, without an explanation, which saddened Ikuya. However, that was around the time Rin came back from Australia and the two competed and then Haru quit after seeing Rin's devastation. >< Thank goodness, Rin is motivated to swim now and he's practicing in Australia, but it seems Ikuya hasn't recovered from whatever wound he received back then... Maybe because Asahi and Haru left the swim team without saying so in advance, and Ikuya wanted to improve and continue swimming, which led him to swim individual medleys. Ikuya probably saw that it was better for him to improve and swim alone, than work with others who could quit. I hope someday, Haru and Ikuya can have a freestyle swim race, like they pinky-promised in middle school. That moment between them when they were looking at the stars, and Ikuya made a wish on a shooting star... What was Ikuya's wish? It was so romantic when Ikuya leaned forward to Haru, looked into each other’s eyes, and Ikuya said he wanted to swim freestyle like Haru. <3 Natsuya is now in Sydney! In episode 0, Natsuya said he was heading to LA from San Francisco though... Maybe the “interesting coach” Natsuya is talking about is Mihail?? I look forward to seeing Rin and Natsuya meet! :) |

| I heard some people disliked this season mostly because of Hiyori and now, I can understand why. Seeing him acting like Ikuya's jelaous girlfriend is starting to piss me off and this is just ep. 2... oh dear. |

| The red hair glasses guy doesn't sit right with me. He seems to want Ikuya all to himself, and is trying to keep Haru away from him, although the two did manage to briefly meet. |

| Ikuya has become a very good swimmer. Hiyori is a pretty annoying guy. |
