| I usually try to stay away from most of the alternate Fate stories, with all the genderbending, confusion, and genderbending. But a yesterday I saw a few clips from the series, and was just a little bit impressed. So I'd like to ask if the series is worth watching, because while I liked what I saw I also noticed quite a few flaws. |

| Well, I think if you like characters such as Illya, Irisviel, Rin, Shirou... you'll enjoy it at some point and for a series where her main chacaracter is a Mahou Shoujo, the action scenes are very well handled (the studio did a right job in that aspect)... Now, based on my opinion, it was the least "fate-related" anime I enjoyed (unpopular opinion based on MAL ep. discussions). The first season was the most interesting one and it has the best battle of the entire kaleid-related show in my opinion. But well, there are 4 seasons (10 eps. each) and a movie (the movie is really good but you need to watch the previous seasons to fully undestand it) sooo... it's all up to you then. P.S.: Oh, and if you're ok about the fanservice and ecchi stuff with 10 years old girls (Illya is 10 in this universe) then it should not be a huge problem to watch the series. Not my case since I felt kinda uncomfortable with it for most of the anime but tastes are tastes, I suppose. |

| Prisma Illya doesn't have genderbending and it's not terribly confusing. It's got some decent action and emotional content. But unless you have an appreciation for or at least a tolerance of loli fanservice, you may find it hard to get through. |

| The first season is more or less just Fate/fanservice. But the last season that came out and the movie that got released just some month ago is really neat. Yeah its worth watching if u got the time to watch, if u do not have time time for it. It exist better stuff out there u shoud waste u time on, if u dont have much of it. |

| I liked it alot, but I watched it before I watched the real fate. The first season is a little slow plot-wise, it starts to pick up steam in the second seasons (2.0 / 2.5) and even more in the 3rd seasons (3.0 / 3.5) and movies. Obviously with what amounts to 5 seasons so far and a movie, with another season on the way, Ilya as a Magic Girl is a really popular alternative universe. But ya, there is lots of 10 year old girls doing lots of kissing and exploring their sexuality. So if that makes you feel dirty or uncomfortable, perhaps its best to pass. |
