 The official Twitter account for the new anime adaptation of Yoshiki Tanaka's Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu (Legend of the Galactic Heroes) sci-fi novel series revealed additional cast members on Friday. Damn, as if my expectations weren't low enough already, these altered designs look terrible compared to their originals. I don't understand why they would make these changes, what the fuck happened to Reuenthal and Cazerne? |

Thanks for posting these! I was hoping to see new images soon. I guess my thoughts on these would be: -Oberstein looks great. I was worried about how they were going to design him after seeing the main trio in the trailer. -Reuenthal and Alex look ridiculous. What happened? Very disappointed with Reuenthal's look. -Julian looks way too young. -The rest are good character designs. |
| it's 2018, they were going to change the designs from the start lol. I wanted them to use old designs or atleast tweak them a bit for this modern age reboot. |

| this series always has been realy popular for fujoshi, even it's old official manga adaptation run in BL magazine FYI.... the recent one is in ultra jump, but the art is even more glorious... i am not gonna watch any from this franchise tho, not really interested in space opera...
