It was the first thing that came to mind when I was trying to describe my thought process xD
I'm a bit of a perfectionist personally, so I usually always update my list right after finishing an episode, I couldn't bear to not have it up to date- It's for the same reason I can't leave a show unfinished with only one episode left, I GOTTA watch that last episode immediately!
I have this issue too, it's like I said, they're doing it on purpose! It only ever errors when I'm actually trying to get something done on here xD

Same here, hiatuses always tend to take the fun out of things. Kubo-san had quite the long hiatus aswell, it aired from january to june, that's usually around the time it takes for a double cour series to air, not a one cour, 12 episode one :') I still really enjoyed it regardless though! One of the few times a hiatus didn't fully take out the enjoyment of the series for me, I was really excited when it was finally back QwQ
I'm not a super big fan of split cours either, I'd rather just have it be two separate seasons, it kinda gets confusing with some shows having a part 1, part 2 and season 2 (like SpyxFamily)

I imagine it's very different to experience something in LN form compared to an animated version, yeah! I've always noticed that LN adaptations feel way different from manga adaptations, I can't quite explain it, it's just the overall vibes. I've actually played a few VNs before! Nothing super special or well-known, but the ones I have played I've enjoyed :>

Oooh fun! I've only played Mineral Town myself, though I've been interested in Rune Factory too. I don't have the Fire Emblem for Switch but I did play some of the 3DS ones! For Switch I haveee... besides Pokemon Violet, I also have Shield, Lets Go Eevee & Legends Arceus. Animal Crossing ofcourse, aswell as Mario Party, Undertale & Spiritfarer. Violet was my first game I got on release! I'd never preordered a game before so it was very exciting.
Pokemon XY is my favorite generation (partially because it was my first, I'm biased xD), so it has a special place in my heart. I hope you enjoy it when you do end up playing it!
That's unfortunate! The controls at the start were quite wacky and unpreditable yeah, though luckily I haven't experienced any of the game breaking bugs I've been seeing some people post. I'm glad it was fixed enough for you to be able to play it normally! It definitely wasn't the best at release performance wise, but the narrative was one of the best in years in my opinion!

The update should be out soon for other devices aswell, I believe it just takes a bit longer on console due to higher quality control or something (I just read this online so I'm not sure how true it is xD), hope it comes out soon for the non-PC players!

Whenever MAL errors on me I just let it marinate for a bit and then when I come back it's usually back online again, it's always the same thing xD
I use MAL quite a bit (I check it very often because I tend to watch episodes here and there throughout my day) but somehow the errors are always at the time I'm actually trying to actively do something on the website, sometimes I feel like it's doing it on purpose 😭

Honestly I think you might've been better off watching it late! I watched it while it aired, and it went on hiatus for a few months, it was really unfortunate because I was enjoying the series quite a lot, and having anime being delayed mid season usually really takes the steam out of it (it was like that with Zom100 aswell). I'm hoping for a season 2 aswell especially since the manga concluded last year, it'd be great if they could do a full adaptation of it.

I'll definitely keep those LNs in mind! I've always wanted to actually read one so it'll be a fun adventure :>

I've played a bit of Story of Seasons aswell! I have Friends of Mineral Town for the Switch~ I actually bought my Switch with ACNH during the lockdown times, so I was definitely part of the bandwagon, I'd always wanted one but that really was the perfect opportunity to buy xD I've been into Pokemon since childhood but the first game I played and completed was Pokemon X, since then I've played every mainline game. Violet is a good one to start with, I have that one aswell! Absolutely loved the storyline, especially that ending 😭 I'd gladly add you on Switch! Just DM me your friend code and I'll send you a request as soon as possible, my Switch is at my dad's place and I'm currently at my mom's so it might be a while til I can get to it xD
Stardew Valley just had a huge new update a few days ago so now's a better time to get into it than ever! It's been a while since I played aswell but it's super fun once you get the hang of it, I especially love playing multiplayer with friends.

I occassionally get server errors aswell, but I've always gotten those, so they're not too surprising anymore. Luckily MAL seems to always fix them pretty quickly.

I do like watching a good romcom every now and then! I thought Kubo-san was a very cute and fun one, as long as the premise is fun and the characters are interesting I'm sure I'll be able to enjoy even if I'm not the biggest fan of the romance genre :>

Vanitas is quite popular yeah! Mochizuki's art is just so beautiful, I'll definitely have to check out her other manga aswell when I have the time. I'd love some light novel recs!

I do like playing games now and then, I like Nintendo Games a lot, especially the Pokemon series. I mostly just play relaxing cozy games, stuff like Animal Crossing, Stardew Valley, etc. I also have a ton of hours in the Sims 4!

Oh, same here! I was rewatching a childhood cartoon a few weeks ago and I got super behind on my seasonals because I hadn't watched any anime in a month or so. Luckily I've been mostly able to catch up by now. Hmm, this season I've pretty much got everything in my watch list I wanted to watch. Maybe I'll pick up Yubisaki to Renren someday after it finishes airing since it has such high ratings. I wanna watch Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu aswell sometime, but I'd have to watch season 1 first! I'm generally not really a big fan of romcoms, but I've heard great things, and a 8.81 rating for the 2nd season is very impressive!

I've never actually read a light novel before! I do like to read western literature, but light novels is something I haven't yet delved in. I've been mostly focused on collecting as many World Trigger volumes as I can find right now, but I'm also actively keeping up with Vanitas no Carte (recently completed collecting all current 10 volumes available), I also want to continue collecting Requiem of the Rose King, but volume 3 is near impossible to find for a good price unfortunately, so I'm hoping for a reprint;; I tend to mostly buy manga of anime I've already seen, but Requiem of the Rose King like I mention is something I've read in manga form only, since the anime adaptation wasn't very good unfortunately.

I'm lucky that most of my irl close friends are also into anime, so I can talk to them very easily! I'm definitely the most hardcore anime watcher out of them all, but they're pretty deep in the rabbit hole aswell, so I can't complain xD

I've been trying my best keeping up with all the seasonals, but there's a few I continue putting off that I reaaaally need to get back to;; I keep telling myself that today is the day but I always just watch something else instead. I love following seasonals, but it gets very overwhelming if there's a lot of good shows coming out at the same time.

Yeah, it's unfortunate! I find it a lot easier to read physical volumes so I've done a bit of manga collecting, but I collect figurines aswell, so they're expensive hobbies;; I'm currently working on getting all of the World Trigger volumes! Still got some gaps to fill, but I'm getting there. I only started reading the manga a few months ago (I had the first two volumes for years before I even watched the anime, read vol.1 and then watched the anime) because I was so starved for content lol, the slow pace of the new chapters is unfortunate, but I'm glad the mangaka is able to work on it again! I'm eagerly looking forward to the new release next month :>

Exactly! It's way easier to talk about interests online anyways, I always feel kind of embarrassed talking about things I like to people in real life, even with my friends xD
