I'm going to need Sanghyuk/Chelin to die in order to feel good about their characters.

Yeah, I hate them more each episode.
Nice to see that Joonsang remembered part of his memories too.
Yujin seems much happier (at least for now)
Btw, does someone knows where I can download the anime songs?

Hmm I don't know where you can direct download it but I'm sure it's available by torrent. You can just google those. :P

Yeah and I was really happy with this episode. Yujin seemed so happy. :]

Wow, this turning point really happened before I thought it will, but at least I'm happy that we had some development there.
Also, Sanghyuk, please just go to a corner and hide yourself there until you become a little more mature *kicks him*

oh come on guys, Sanghyuk does not deserve any hate whatsoever. Imagine yourself in his position first, he waited all his life for Yujin - it's not so easy to get over such a strong feeling of love.
I am loving the progress and this episode was very good all in all with some heartwarming sweet moments as well as some very sad ones.

He's not in love, he's obsessed. This is the type of person who would otherwise be called a stalker, and kill himself for being rejected. Not getting over the rejection is one thing, but childishly slapping her, not caring for her happiness is totally different.

I beg to differ. What you describe is the character of Chelin. The slapping episode was just his bottled up emotions getting to him. You can't just ignore his usual tranquil disposition.

I never saw his usual disposition as tranquil. I see it as very repressed, obsessed, and possessive. He's known the truth the whole time for the past 10 years. Yujin does not, and has never had romantic feelings for him. He used every chance he could to sway her to his side. Remember the stuff about Joonsang saying he used Yujin to get at him? He knew the real context of that statement, but didn't hesitate to use it against him to get to Yujin. He's every bit as selfish and opportunistic as Chelin. Begging to stay with someone regardless of their feelings is what the both of them have done. With-holding information and self-delusion are apart of their game.

To some extent, this is very Wuthering Heights.

I have to agree with the reference to Emily Bronte's classic. Tho thankfully the Anime characters aren't as strong as those in the said novel, heh or else I would have been having trouble sleeping.

hmmm so if Yujin's dad was Joon Sang Kang's mom's lover....does that mean Joon Sang Kang and Yujin might be related by blood lol? I mean JoonSang's mom does say your dad was the only person I ever loved. Then he left me and died. I have the funniest feeling that's gonna be the next twist they throw at us.

Yeah, that's the reason why Joonsang can't access his memory. He wants to forget the fact that he's in love with his sister. I guess that hasn't been as obvious as I thought it was. Joonsang was stalking Sanghyuk because he thought they were brothers, but when his dad showed him the picture of the three of them in high school (the same copy he had, just not torn) and told him that he was in love with his mom, but she loved Yujin's dad, he figured it out. Then he decided to leave for the US, changed his mind, and got hit by the truck.

ah ya that's right. I forgot about that scene. I ended up taking a long break after the accident before picking this series back up again, so I forgot the majority of what happened in the beginning lol. Looks like the subbers are taking their time again so I'll probably take another long break : /.

Also it's kind of weird that Joon Sang Kang's mom keeps looking at Sanghyuk. Is there a reason for that or was she just thinking that he looked just like someone she knew (ie. his dad)? I'd laugh if he was related to her somehow though.

Oh god, that would add more ridiculousness to the mix. Like if Sanghyuk and Yujin were switched at birth. I felt like she was looking at Yujin's mom more than Sanghyuk, though, but I don't know.

omg. noteDero, I was under the impression that you read spoilers as well, I'm relieved that I didn't ruin anything for you! OTZ

anyway, I think that Joon Sang's mom looked at Sanghyuk because he lookes like his father. and in that picture there were Yujin's father, Sanghyuk's father and Joonsang's mom, they were all chilhood friends or something. o-o
and it's already known that Sangyuk's father was in love with her, as he said to Joonsang when he came to his class (and didn't know she is his mother)~

lol so there is an off chance that Sangyuk's dad was the one that knocked up Joonsang's mom and she thinks it was Yujin's dad presumably because they had sex a lot.

I think the reason Joonsang's mom keeps looking at Yuji's mother is because she's trying to understand why the man of her life would decide to leave her for someone less appealing and apparently less successful. She's basically sizing her up if you will.

lol ya, so many possibility's.

PS. ya I was thinking one of the kids was switched at birth too but I'm not so sure now.

Ah, all of the main four have something that make me want to bash my head in.

Though, I had liked Sanghyuk for a longer time, but now there are little things that are driving me nuts. Though, I think Yujin and Chelin drive me the most nuts.

Wow, I just wanna run Sanghyuk over with a truck on a snowy New Years Day. Chelin being an open bitch is nothing new.
Still, Yujin and Joonsang being able to have a heart to heart really made me love the episode, along with Yujin denying the marriage. There is a part of my heart that is dying from the thought that the two will not remain together because of their biological relationship...

I wholeheartedly agree. I also find this guy quite scary. He has a nasty lurking temper that has manifested itself in several episodes. There was that time when he was burning tires into the high school yard because he was obviously peeved that Yujin still thought that Joosang was alive and he intended to visit the school office to prove to Yujin that she was wrong. Then there was that other time when Chelin visited him to encourage him to marry Yujin asap and he turned from her and crushed the cup in his hand and he really had this scary look of anger in his eyes. Then that time on the ski lift when he basically threatened Yujin telling her that he refuse to break the engagement and that they will get married as planned. There are other examples too even from back when he was in high school.

This guy is controlling. He appears nice on the outside, but when things aren't going his way, his temperament becomes scary. Yes, people are entitled to get mad but this guy's anger is not normal. He has a temper and reminds me of the type of guy who would hit his wife.

If he didn't have that scary temper, I might actually find him sympathetic even though I think he's very stupid to want to marry a woman who is obviously madly in love with another man. The funny thing is that this character's obsession with Yujin has been toned down a lot from the original drama character.

Chelin doesn't bother me nearly as much as Sangyuk because Joosong knows how to handle her. One of the things I like about Joosong's character is that he is very blunt and he wouldn't let Chelin's schemes work. With Sangyuk, because Yujin is such a pushover, he bullies her so much that it frustrates me. It was even worse in the drama. The things he did to her and got away with was too much. Honestly, I can't stand to see the way he bosses her around even forcing marriage on her when he knows she has never loved him and when she's told him that she wants to call the marriage off. I mean, how pathetic can you be to marry a woman who can't even get over her first love from ten years ago. Obviously her feelings for her first love runs very deep because not even time diminished them.

heavily dislike chelin and sanghyuk. chelin is just a mega bitch so far, like she can't handle rejection or not getting what she wants as it seems. sanghyuk is just too stubborn, but at least i can see where he's coming from and empathize with him.
