| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- We get the rest of the Madao one-shot in this episode. Seems like the assassin needs Madao to kill himself somewhere else since he can’t make a scene where the assassin is shooting from. Since Madao doesn’t have the will to jump, he’ll need the assassin to shoot him. LMAO, there gonna do a “two birds with one stone” kill. You’ll need insane timing for that, lol. Lol, Madao goes to the other building to jump, only to find another assassin. Committing suicide has never been this challenging, lol. Madao’s so hopeless that he fails at dying. When will Madao bloom… Second half of the episode was the Shinsengumi and Mimawarigumi one-shot. Nice to see the Shinsengumi, Isaburo and Nobume after all those serious arcs. Lol, time for a virtual investigation. Idk why, but that’s giving me Bungou Stray Dogs vibes (minus Gintama’s weirdness). Lol, the was one weird investigation they had to go through though. Overall, easily the funniest episode from this season. First half was a riot and the voice acting made it funnier than the manga. The second half was funny too, even if it was weaker than the first half. Anyways, this episode adapted chapters 435 and 444. Next episode is the start of the Excalibur arc. 5/5 |

| Awesome episode! Laughed a lot. First part was really funny (love Madao being the straight man) and of course the second part was superb. I missed the shinsengumi! Next week Excalibur Arc! |

| This was glorious. XD To be honest, I didn't expect the over the top sniper assassin story to turn emotional by revealing both of them to be siblings. I was totally not expecting that. Madao and the situations he gets put in. xD Glad to see the Shinsengumi again, Also Nobume. <3 Sougo and Nobume in that crash course cracked me up, I seriously need to get myself Sougo's mask. XD The Momotaro investigation was gold, I laughed so much each time one of them said. 'You're all blinded by the story of Momotaro'. XDD Sorachi knows how to write comedy. Props to the man. That ending twist to the story though. xD Looking forward to more greatness. |

| That was glorious. I can't even xD. Easily the best episode of this season thus far. I don't know which one was the best I think I will give a slight edge to the Momotaro case because all those assumptions had me rofl the whole time. |

| Lol Madao will never be able to successfully kill himself. I didn't expect that story to become emotional so that was a nice surprise. The 2nd half was hilarious with the investigation into "Momotaro's" death, but it ended up being a waste of time as it was a demon instead. |

Matsudaira and his countdown lol Excalibur Arc next episode! I already feel pain for Gin-chan's ass, but can't wait to see Tetsuko back on scene~ |

| The assassins' tale escalated quickly. No wonder snipers excel in rapid firing... As always, Hasegawa managed to be a complete badass despite failing (to die). I swear, his presence alone is enough to make an episode worthwhile. The second half was at least equally spectacular. Momotaro's classic tale with a twist of Gintama was hilarious. Its conclusion was completely off the charts in terms of amusement. Had I been in the shoes of one of the characters, I would have smacked Matsudaira... |

I agree Madao can be really great lead in a episode like this my favorite episode this season so far, and the second half was really great as well, all the off the wall theory's that was great, but the truth of it all was just absurd compared with what everyone was bringing to the table lol. |
| Gintama isn't complete unless there's an episode of Madao trying to hang himself or off himself in any kind of way. He's my favorite straight man after Shinpachi and his reactions are pretty fucking funny and how he calls out everyone on their shit. I learned two things: assassins shoot their loads too quick and can't get it up again, so much for 007. Even the female assassins have balls that they accidentally smash. The Momotarou stint was okay. |

| Madao should become an assassin, the only requirement for an assassin is probably owning dark af shades. So he's basically qualified enough to be a pro-assassin! I missed the Shinsengumi and the Mimawarigumi so much. Kondo acting as a straight man and Sougo X Nobume moments reminds me of the good old times... |

| Ah yes the only reason I watch this pretty awful show... Wakamoto Norio! His performance is stellar as expected! Quite an okay episode, and well that's only cause Norio is in it really :p |
