DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Hmm, new OP song is amusing with the immense amount of the chibi Umaru in it. Actually, this first episode featured mostly Umaru (well as expected) and the jokes return. She's still the same brat at home as I remember LOL. I feel bad for her bro Glad to see Ebina back! She's adorable as ever still (and shy) Happy to see Sylphinford back too. The soccer match was really fun to watch. I'm happy that this show is back, after over 2 years :D |

| It's good to see this anime is back. I wasn't a fan when I first started it, found Umaru annoying, however it grew on me as the episodes went by. This season already started strong with the football match..missdirection xD, there was probably a reference with the commentator; but ofc I've no clue who he was supposed to be. Looking forward to more.  |

| Great first episode to initiate Hinouto Umaru Chan R, the sequel of the famous Slife of Life anime named Himouto Umaru Chan! Personally, it was a really good start since we got all the wide cast of characters receive an adequate of screentime in this episode. Umaru seems to be the ol' lazy hardcore Otaku we all know of but it's nice to see her developing more as a character and pay more attention to her friends and classmates. Sylphinford was just Sylphinford really, with all her all-over-the-world self-confidence and enthusiasm. Didn't expect the later half of this episode to be football based, but the game was nice to watch nonetheless. Lol, Ebina's misdirection though. The commentator's commentary was funny as well. Now, I just hope that this comedy will retain throughout the course of the show and I dearly hope Taihei and his former classmate(his manager now, if I'm not mistaken) gets more screentime together. Overall, a solid start which could have been better but was great nonetheless. I just hope it gets better and better from this episode onwards, so here's hoping for the very best. |

Me every single night That football match was some Inazuma Eleven shit, Ebina's self goal cracked me up so hard. The OP is nice and the ED is even better, all the girls Umaru'd are adorable, and the song is super catchy. I loved this episode so much, Umaru was the first airing anime I watched and seeing it back makes me so happy, I can't wait for more! |

| The opening song was lacking something, the ED was good though. Sylphyn getting some development by UMR lessons and playing soccer and Umaru realizing her she wasn't initiating talk with anyone. |

| So far, so good! It's good to have Umaru coming back, because I haven't seen her in almost 2 years! I'm really liking how they're taking Umaru's character this season, she's kind of getting somewhat better with the things she struggled with last season. I also love how she is not as rude and bad towards her brother, because that literally made me drop the 1st season for a while, but watched the rest a month later when I was sick. Hope they continue making it like this! P.S I saw that Kuroko no Basket reference!!! |

| so glad this show is back! ^.^ i don't typically go for this kind of show but something about it makes me feel so cozy... not really much to say for this first episode, only that the knb reference made me LOL and i'm quite pleasantly surprised to see umaru has matured a little! and i'm glad the four of them are officially friends now as of this episode. can't wait for all the antics that ensue. :D |

| Incredibly amazing first episode for the return of Umaru-chan! <3 I love both OP and ED! They're both so catchy that watching and listening to them puts a smile on my face. <3 Both parts were good, but the second half was awesome! Lots of new characters that I've never seen before in the soccer match. xD There was "The Zone" reference from Kuroko no Basket and it really made me lol. It's only the first episode but I like how there's so much focus on the 4 main girls already. :) I'm going to be enjoying this season so much. <3 |

| So happy Umaru is back! The OP was a bit odd, but the ED was so incredibly cute. Glad that best girl Sylphy got plenty of screen time. I think this needed more Himouto Umaru, I feel like it didn't have enough. |
