Senjougahara definitely, but the guy at 3:39 is much more Araragi than the main guy. The main guy kind of reminds me of the MC of Boku no Hero Academia, and I don't even watch BnHA :D. But good song and hyped for the movie as well. And all those classic Shaft windmills. Daaamn. |

It looks really beautiful as I have said but I have to say it's not THAT amazing considering it's gonna be a movie. We have seen similar or better even in TV series. The intriguing thing about SHAFT is their unorthodox pauses between animation frames, their fluid cinematography and use of unconventional key frames in their animation. To me, they are only second to capture a character's state of mind to KyoAni in the entire animation industry. KyoAni works more closer to normal human emotions than not and they tend to gracefully insert small details like a shot of someone holding their own forearm while apparently talking nonchalantly, or a shot of the legs tensing up under a table while listening to others even though they show uninterested outwardly to convey the state of the human emotions of the characters, while SHAFT works more closer to strong human emotions than not which they masterfully portray using unorthodox angles and rapid changes from one key frame to another. I think these are what make KyoAni and SHAFT distinguished from other studios, much more than their beautiful art and animation. |

| I hope and think I'll love this movie much more than "Kimi no na wa". Because til now I loved everything by Shunji Iwai I watched especially "All About Lily Chou-Chou" and "A Bride for Rip Van Winkle". Let's hope Shaft can create a good romance movie.. |

| DAOKO is literally one of my favourite Jpop artists, finally found a song with-out rapping and it's lovely. The male singer's voice is kind of too deep to suit a high school character but it's still a nice duet. Now, is an amazing song a good enough reason to watch a lowly rated movie..... Also the female MC looks like a young Senjou + one of the side chars looks like a young Araragi - nice on Shaft. |

| After watching the movie this sure was quite to see again, loved the ending credits and would preferred a roll on this rather than just a long credit scroll! Wonderful art and animation as expected from Shaft and in general just a great song! |

| I discovered this song months ago when it was recommended to me on youtube, being that Daoko and Kenshi Yonezu have both provided me some of my favourite anime songs ("Step Up Love" and "Orion" respectively), I decided to check it out and recall why skimming the video thinking, are these just scenes from an anime, I think I checked out of the video when I googled and found out they were. Decided to watch it for realsies this time. I'll get this out of the way, I love the song but that's only one factor in the score. The video itself is another and it has it's moments. I get the gist of the story, in that I know those two love each-other. The music video side of things was pretty low until like the bridge or so, when they had three instances of the characters actually lip-syncing, and I'm curious if those were animated for this music video specifically, or if they were all from the movie too. Either way, it's an impressive effort and the fact that I can't tell shows the quality. I'm going to give this a 6/10, would've been a 5 without those sync ups because otherwise, the music video itself just feels like a movie trailer. |
