| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Looks like Goro's found his way to his team! It's amusing that it's a bunch of egotistical, short-tempered players -- Goro'll fit right in! XD ...I cannot believe he got his bag stolen again. I was relieved when he grabbed it, but the moron just left it there again. It should be interesting to see how/why the team shapes up. And we get to see Toshiya again, yay! At the same time, I don't know if I want a whole episode on him and none of Goro's new team next week (or whenever it gets subbed). Oh well. What did everyone else think? =) |

| Was looking forward to even more Goro ass kicking, but sorta felt short in that area. Oh well, looks like we'll have some fun with the bats. :) |
| Goro as a closer is a lot more believable than Goro as a starter, not that I really expect even that level of realism to last long. btw, if they suck this much at defense and rock that hard at offense, then why were there so many scoreless innings? |

| I like that new girl. The players arguing about the fielding mistake while the play is ongoing is just ridiculous. Goro should do well as a closer on this kind of up-tempo team. |

| Alice looks alot like Miho from last season. Ohh man, I'm so relieved that the Bats aren't just misfit underdogs with no experience. It'll be interesting to see a team that excels in offensive power, and their lack of fielding coordination not only gives Goro more time to shine as a pitcher, but is flat out hilarious. |

| This might be the first team Goro has ever been on that has a strong offensive power. I mean literally every other team he has been on he would be the #4 batter, although lately I am getting the feeling they are intentionally highlighting the fact that he isn't good at batting anymore (although I have no idea how since he seemed to have always had a very good sense for batting and he himself said that aside from pitching he also wanted to be good at fielding and batting). Anyways, this is actually a team I can look forward to him playing on, gonna miss that other catcher that spoke Japanese however this catcher might be even better, with that mustache and all. |

| Look like Goro decided to establish his nest at Memphis! It's a nice city to start a new life, and he seem in good company. Though, they really need to solve that defense problem. That play with the collision is totally unacceptable. |

| Goro is the best pitcher possible for this kind of team. His experience with terrible players defending his back is second to no one. Also after watching eyeshield 21, I can't help but love the team with "bats" name in it :) |

| I was amused that the Memphis Bats are a batting team, even if it is a terrible pun. Anyway, I'm actually really happy with this team. They seem to have a lot more personality than the other teams he's encountered, and Gorou has never been on a team with strong offense either. He could definitely help fill in the gap for their less coordinated defense. (I'm thinking it's more of a coordination issue than a skill issue; any of those three guys would have caught the ball on their own.) Also, although he was excellent back in Japan, his batting skills haven't been up to par here in America. If he wants to ever be as good of a slugger as his dad was, this team would provide him a good opportunity to improve his skills. The owner/agent is pretty cute too, which is a plus. Looking forward to it. |

| During this season Goro kinda is funnier than before. Or does it look like hes funnier cause hes all on his own in another country? Well nevermind, had to laugh while he has lost another one of his bags. Memphis Bats... feels like the perfect team for Goro. I mean it was good to see Goro playing in some other teams but afterwards I can tell it wasnt the right way. He needs a weaker team with alot of special guys. Im sure he will find his way. And it feels good. |

| goro just can't stand america, or america can't stand him? he were in america only for .. a month(?) and he lost all his stuff twice and get in trouble with americans for several times... and though I said I like the development of goro the development of the story kinda repeating itself, it's like i'm watching S2 in american style as goro lost several times and going to weak team (in fielding though) as in S3 to raise them to the major league, well I shouldn't except more once goro fired from the salmons, now he need only slowly rise to the major. |
| Mah man Shigeno, just handcuff yourself to your bag already whenever you travel. Memphis Bats looks like a fun team and above all a perfect fit for Goro as every player seems similiar to him in not only personality-wise but also egoistical playstyle. |
