| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Lol, they used some classic music in the race this episode. Exciting stuff. I'm glad the show is back on full course again to showcase the talent of the riders. We got a lot of focus on Ashikiba this episode. It's really interesting to see his background story as he's both an airhead and an emotional character. He's also quite impressive to at riding. |

| Some flashback for Teshima and show spirit of being captain. Onoda and rest are firing up and try to catch up with them. It's always fun to watch that kind of parody that happen in end thought. |

| DANK AS FUCK EPISODE Yeah, Ashikiba was just as awkward as I expected... okay, maybe EVEN MORE. When he remembered Sugimoto but forgot Imaizumi I just lost it. "But I worked pretty hard at the Inter-High......" Onoda's finally letting Makishima's demise in the past was good too, the power of a "mediocre" new captain :') What do you guys think about the OP and ED now that we're on the third episode? Honestly, the OP didn't do it for me and it may be the worst the show ever put out (although I do like the visuals), but the ED is slowly becoming one of my faves. LMAO |

| YES!!!!! ]Here I was afraid Onoda was going to take a few more episodes to snap out of it. But......HELL NO!!!! The fire has been lit and it looks like he's going to hit a new level. He's wanting to attack now. This could be interesting. The speed in which he caught up was shocking. However, the title for the next episode gives me some worry that it may not be Onoda as the winner. Also, that scene where he got the names wrong.....lol |

| I can't help but find Ashikiba cartoonishly big, like what is he 8ft tall? And the heart shaped mole and pink bike... IDK, he's just completely cringe worthy. I still can't get over the un-proportionate way they have drawn him. |
| Awesome episode, loved it. Ashikiba and Teshima are friends from middle school eh? I should have expected that. Ashikiba is freaking huge though, That dancing form is so out of proportion that it's amusing to watch. xD Also the bit of classic music that play when he rides is great. :D The part when he got everyone's names wrong was really funny. xD Nice spotlight on Teshima's way of captaining Sohoku, He might be an average rider in terms of skill but his ability to light the fire in his teammates is second to none. :) Onoda going full force next episode, can't wait.:D |

| Of course, the "great" Onoda must have that intimidating look at his face. Not that the one wearing big glasses and have shrill voice, RIGHT? LOL This feels like a "personal" match between Teshima and Ashikiba. But it doesn't take long until Imaizumi and Onoda feels the same passion to go faster and finally catching up. |

| And this episode reminded me why i fucking love this anime,now i just hope this season will be as god tier as the second one+god i never thought i would think of Teshima as an interesting character to see but he's maybe the most interesting one in this season,seeing average people trying their hardest to win is one of the best things in sports anime,i'm hyped up now. |

| This ep made me laugh so hard. Oh my god. We're basically on Shingeki no Kyojin right now, as someone already said :° god, whenever Ashikiba was on screen and Beethoven started playing I almost pissed myself. I loved how Kinjou said that it's because Teshima is a mediocre cyclist that he inspires people. He's already a great captain :°( Am I the only one a bit pissed that Onoda had to butt in? |

| This is the only sports anime that can get me sooo hyped up! Teshima is truly an amazing captain, i could already tell when i saw that his performance in the first season when they went on that training camp where they gotta ride for like 2000km. I guess thats foreshadowing that he will be in a leadership position in the future due to his never give up spirit. Also, the music director must be loving this new guy since they dont have to think up bgm since they can just use beethoven piece. It was hilarious to see the new guy mixing up names. How he remembered sugimoto i had no idea. I didnt even remember who the hell he is until the anime showed his face lolol btw fans sugimoto is gonna have quite a role to play this season. Hes gonna changed drastically (thank god). Well...i guess midosuji isnt the only titan lol:  |

| The hype and pumped-up action still lives on this show! so Teshima and Ashikiba are best bud on their childhood, but this time they are on battle! Ashikiba is not really good on remembering their correct names lol! Onoda goes again for the attack! Classical Beethoven OST really fits anywhere! 5/5. |

| I like this episode a lot... So that is Teshima's strength. everyone wants to do better when they see how untalented cyclist tries his best to keep up with the best. And look Onoda caught up. I also really like new character, he is really kind. He is a good friend of Teshima, he believes he is strong, he is really nice to him. Their friendship is great. Damn Beethoven songs are on point lol, i can't believe i hear one in an anime a new character really likes Beethoven. Can't lie the best part was when girls were rooting for Imaizumi first (calling him cute) that was really great and Imaizumi actually blushed <3 Then they switched to Onoda and Onoda really seem to like it <3 Oh the privelege of being a winner of Inter-high. I know why Toudou likes cycling now lol. |

| Gotta say I'm really digging Teshima this season. He doesn't stand out which is why I can respect his growth all the more. There's something more relatable about an average person who struggles imperfectly to do his best. |
