The bad animation still continues but it's the only reason I watch it, so I guess I have to give it a little plus for that!

Their little group of friends is slowing getting bigger, the swimming jaguar i found a little funny and cute though!

Seems the girls are still collecting stuf but they are getting there with their group slowly growing.
Makes me wonder where this is going.

In all honesty, I hope this goes the harem route. Haven't seen a good Harem in a while.

I don't mind the animation much and a little cute kids show like that is fine with me, but what really is weird is that sometimes they like "forgot" (?) to animate the moths movements...like wth that is very lazy or shows a lack of quality control.

So "boss" only talk or alt least making a voice in front of a human, huh?
Wow, more Friends appeared inside this Jungle area. Too bad it's just for a short conversation even none at all like with the Malayan Tapir.

I love this show so much so far. The simple and low budget animation is charming and the characters, music and voice acting are great. I'm so emotionally invested in kaban, it goes to show you dont need well written backstory or exposition to make a character loveable

Definitely a step up from the first episode. Didn't expect it to go all educational on me, but at several times I had to stop and google a certain animal just to find out what the hell I was meant to be looking at. Points for teaching me things, I suppose. Didn't know jaguars could swim.

And say what you will about this show's animation style, but I will not have anyone tell me this isn't some neat character design.

I wonder how many episodes will it take them to actually repair the bus?
And what happened to the park that left it is such disrepair.
And who managed to get the front of the bus on the other side without the bridge. Was is a high-octane chase where they were riding in the bus cabin with the bridge collapsing behind them?

Yeah, this anime is full of animals I haven't heard about.

Must be tough for the peafowl - only males (peacocks) get these colorful tails, but they're the trademark of the species, so as a girl she gets to wear them anyway. I wonder if it's a peacock who became a girl as a result of whatever magic makes them girls, or a peahen who grew a colorful tail when she became an icon for her species?
But the character design is, indeed, neat.

India elephant weird dress. Axis deer eats dirt.
interviews with real zoo folks kinda nice.
Those "Friends" cooperate well. But really the group needs that tsundere loli, the southern tamandua.
Serval with hulk powers?
ED quite nice.

This anime still seems to me entertaining compared to Hand Shakers. This chapter was entertaining to watch. A bit moe and tender

This is a fun adventure for kids!
The animals are slave workers, while Kaban-chan is the strategist!
3/5.

It seems real sad that Lucky won't talk to Serval, but we know why. lol

I'm not into snakes in general, but I think I'll make an exception for King Cobra.

lol at Tazmanian Devil.

Hello, Okapi. Dat ass.

Hello, Otter. Dat ass.

lol at Jaguar passing by.

Jaguar is so pretty.

LMAO at Serval jumping in the water and get carried away.

Jaguar has earned her right to be a waifu friend.

Glad to see my Penguin waifu friend in the preview again. Hope she appears later on.

Huh, so apparently there were manmade structures in Japari Park, and they were either destroyed or left to decay. An apocalypse caused by Ceruleans? Maybe Kaban-chan has something to do with the park, since Boss recognized the feather in her hat.

The interesting question is: do the Friends real form actually look like girls or are what we are seeing here from Kaban-chan's perspective?

I question that because when they said the Indian Elephant is really big, the anthropomorphic version is not big at all. This brings the question of exactly what Friends are... Also, the fact that the robot completely ignores the Animal Friends is quite... disturbing.

Based on how run-down this Park is, this reminds me more and more of Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita.

The endless debate between fans and haters. At one point, after spending a lot of time on MAL, you just realize it's totally pointless.

There really are some nice and clever character designs in this show.

Pretty eerie ending, honestly. And all the abandoned traces of human development littered in the show are pretty unsettling.

Yeah no doubt about it. Talk about post apocalyptic. I'm really thinking this is more than a kids show.

During the first episodes they thought that but in the end that theory fell (look at the spoiler if you already saw the whole anime)

Coming in late after reading strong reviews and having dropped this after the first episode. It's already much better than the first and I'm enjoying the voice acting and the mystery that's beginning to unfold.

Geez, how long's it going to take them to get to the library?

I'm only sold on the show so far because of the mystery of the main girl, the monsters they fought in the first episode, the damaged bus, etc. Reminds me a bit of Haibane Renmei.

It's still mysterious. I guess they'll go to the library at the final episode after growing their friendship and making it stronger.
The MC is clearly not an animal, so I don't know what will happen when they found out.

By all evidence so far, Kaban appears to be a human.
* doesn't pant, but sweats (cats are only barely able to sweat, so they have to pant when it gets too hot)
* high endurance for prolonged physical activity (I think this was mentioned in episode 1)
* diurnal activity
* manual dexterity (mentioned in this episode) and use of hands (compare Serval's drinking water to Kaban's)
* lack of distinguishing physical features/abilities like large ears, tail, ability to climb, etc.
* ingenuity/intelligence (at the end of both episodes)

It seems that Boss only talks to humans.

All those new Friends in this episode were so cute. ^_^

What a funny looking bus.

Serval and Kaban are such a heartwarming duo. <3
