 A special Niconico livestream celebrating the upcoming release of the Fate/Extella video game announced on Wednesday that smartphone game Fate/Grand Order will receive a television anime special. Titled Fate/Grand Order: First Order, the special episode is scheduled to air at the end of this year. More information will be revealed at an upcoming livestream event on December 6.Synopsis The year 2015 CE. The last era in which magecraft still thrived. The Chaldea Security Organization was founded to focus on preserving the continuation of human history. They observe a world which magecraft couldn't observe and science couldn't measure all to prevent the certain extinction of humanity. But one day, the future that Chaldea continued to observe disappears and humanity's extinction in 2017 becomes clear. Rather, it had already happened. The cause seems to be related to Fuyuki, a provincial town in Japan, in the year 2004 CE. There, an "unobservable region" that had not existed before appears. Based on the assumption that Fuyuki is the reason for humanity's extinction, Chaldea issues an order to explore, investigate, and possibly destroy this singularity—a quest for the Holy Grail, the Grand Order. I only watched the Sinbad OVAs(didn't have time to watch the TV series) and Classroom Crisis but I can say that on the animation department, they're decent. The issue would be on the script and directing side. The director is okay from some of his works but the scriptwriter is worrying. Otherwise I'm pretty optimistic on this. Sad that it's not going to be Taneda for Mashu so I really need to get used to Takahashi in the game. I forgot that Toyoguchi Megumi is on leave as well(maternity leave I think?) but Yonezawa Madoka is a decent replacement. The "First Order" in the title leaves me hopeful as well that we will get continuation of the other Orders. inb4 non-canon fanservice game. I'm bailing out of this thread after this. |

If so, that is more impossible, since Liz Caster is event servant (and she is more joke servant in top of that). Plus, I doubt they will adapt entire FGO events. And for reason why everyone likes Liz is because they play Extra CCC. That and her interaction with Uncle Vlad in Halloween 2015. |

| Anime was a mistake. Oh well, I hope people will be happy with boobs and some popcorn fights because that is all this will bring. At least this is just some silly special and not actual show so it won't wholeheartedly dumb down the whole franchise. Most likely ~20 minutes of Bland McProtag being pushed around and narrative wanking Shielder's mary sue ass to heavens. Seems like a stuff you watch through sakugabooru. Exvius said: Hype! | The first order in the game is kinda meh compared to the latter ones because of all the world building and character introductions, so I hope they spice things up a bit more for the anime. The prologue and the first order (spoiler) Burning Fuyukui are generally low on Servant on Servant action, so hopefully we get to see more of that and less Servant X vs Generic Enemy Goon #38267. Two amazing Servants appear in the first order too, so I'm definitely looking forward to seeing them and their antics animated :D Maya Sakamoto's Colors is pretty good, so I'm glad they're using it, at least for the first special. I'm going to hold my expectations until the special is out. Expecting ufo-grade visual quality is of course stupid, so not going to do that. This, however, doesn't apply to the general quality of direction, cinematography and screenwriting. If they got these covered with some decent looking visuals, that'll guarantee a very high score from me. |

| Well, it has delayed..., but better late than never...xD Anyway... This was to expect, that F/GO would be sooner or later the next adaptation-candidate, though thechnically seen: F/GO is actually already by the several MCs and PVs in the past adapted. Hmm... Well, the subtitle First Order has, then we can guess that this anime about months going will, I mean that this may about 6 episodes consists, where then like OVAs in every month a ep. of them. But this is just a guess of me...xD Hmm... It's nice to see that TM slowly their whole Fate-universe adapt wanna, there missing just then Fate/Apocrypha (though actually it'll be along with GO adapted, due because GO basing loose on F/A...xD), Fate/Hollow Ataraxia and Fate/Extra CCC - Otherwise it'd be also nice if also Mahoutsuaki no Yoru the chance get would...xD |

That's pretty much it. i would like some fights animated(and yes Enkidu). It might turn out decent or it might crash like Apocrypha, but otherwise its more of a Naritaverse than Nasuverse kind of work as expected from something that originated as April Fools joke. |
