| Is it known how many episodes the new season will have? The manga doesn't have enough content, as of right now, to fill up 12 episodes after the match, which I'd presume would take up at least 12 episodes... |

It most probably will be another 25 episodes like S1 and S2, there will be enough contents for it by the time it airs though it will be closely caught up with the manga by then. |

That's what I was thinking too, by the time the match against Shiratozawa would end, it'd already be half December. Should be plenty of time for the manga to get a sufficient amount of content in. Then again, there's some series (Owari no Seraph, Bungou Stray Dogs and Durarara!!X2 I thibk) that release a season of 12 episodes, wait a season and then release a direct follow-up season with another 12 episodes. It might be a possibility HQ!! does the same thing. I'm still expecting a 25 episode season like the first two seasons. |

Split-cours are very rarely made and I still don't see any of them getting another season after those 2-cours so it's really hard to predict the trend for those. Durarara!!X2 is the only one so far to get 3 split-cours and that's just because it is made by a new, small studio dedicated to it which can't afford to finish it all in one running. For series like Haikyuu!! that already had both seasons with 25 episodes, they'd probably wait for the contents first instead of going for split-cours. At the very least, I think it will be 2-cour whether it's 22-26 episodes for S3. I.G is pretty good at adding anime-original bits here and there or rearranging things so the adaptations can be smoother so I have faith they'll handle it with care. It's their cash cow now after Kuroko no Basket. :) |

My body is ready! :D (even though I haven't even watched S2 either lol) Though seriously best year for anime in a long while, Soma S2, AoT S2, OP Movie, HQ S3 and even My Hero Academia.
