Even this series looks like it has a beach theme episode. And Saki also proves once again why she is a powerhouse when it comes to speed and skill with her upset win. (I didn't find it too surprising though).  |

| Misaki has taken the difference in skill rather harshly making it questionable wether she was play the game again. It will be nice to see her return tho. Shindo got owned and in a pretty cruel way at that but he seems more motivated now. |
| Never thought Misaki would quit but I could sympathise with her. This show should be sports instead of romance. |

| Misaki showing a little bit of an inferiority complex... though you can't really blame her. first the shock of being completely outmatched by Shindou despite giving it her at all. and now that same exact Shindou just got toyed around with by another player using a strategy that Asuka was able to figure out before her. iirc some of the events from this episode are from Misaki's route in the VN, so it's possible that they'll be going with her ending (which is a good thing). in the game |
| Meh episode this week. First half was boring. I don't care about this Inui...yet anyway. I much prefer that woman she beat in the round before the finals. She's beautiful, with imo the best tits in the show. Wish she had more screen time, but oh well. Some decent fanservice made the second half a bit better, but not much. I definitely support Misaki. Her depression and whatnot is all due to poor writing, by which I mean Asuka's waaaaay too good waaaaay too quickly performance that continues to be obnoxious and drag this down. Sad to see next week'll probably just be her coming to terms with Asuka's superiority and coming back to the team, but I certainly hope I'm wrong. |

| I can understand why Misaki feels the way she does, but I think she's just being a spoiled brat about it. Too much attention and praise from Mashiro and she think she's the shit, and now she's realizing that there are people out there whose talent outclasses her practice. But that really is the real world, sometimes it doesn't matter how hard you try and practice and study, there are always going to be people out there who are better than you just because they have the affinity for it. But it's kinda like what Shindou said, it doesn't really matter though because as long as you love it, you should never stop trying. I think Misaki never really loved FC the way Asuka does, she just loved being good at FC. |
| Still no romance, no problem though, but why does it have the genre on it's page? So they thought that Shindou was a very tough enemy. Well he was. Then that newcomer appeared, and she forced the level of difficulty sky-high. (Pun intended, of course) I believe I can fly/5 |

| more serious BGM (missed my favorite one...) going on during Saki vs Shindou ( no Shindou battlecry :( ) what a devastating style Saki & Irina delivered to Shindou. they learned from Aoi-sensei's "forbidden" technique to develop the "bird cage" Asuka quickly understood Saki and Irina's game plan and all the praise she's getting, she's definitely a prodigy-in-the-making. ( or maybe she is already a prodigy) nice chat between Misaki and Shindou although Misaki seems to disagree/doesn't understand with Shindou based on her letter of resignation. I'm expecting Masaya (and maybe Asuka) to help Misaki get back up again. also Masaya hasn't decided to specifically power grind someone so I guess he'll coach both Asuka & Misaki still waiting for final form Asuka ; ^ ; |

| So aftet all that drama with Misaki I don't thing that some romance will happen. ˇ^ˇ But it might start to be cliched now. They will go to find Misaki, they will urge her to stay and at the end they will succeed. After that the next tournament will come, Asuka wins or something like that and everybody will be happy. I really hope it won't be that cliched but given that we only have 5 episodes left there's nothing much they can do. But I really hope there will be more Asuka and maybe some romance in these left 4 parts. ˇ^ˇ |

For now it's pretty nice production, and I'm not bored (+ it has visuals for nowadays standards, even CG scenes looks bareable), but as I said in pervious episode thread - I'm waiting for something more than just playing Flying Circus. |

| Damn, Saki is a beast. She was practically toying with Shindou. Like others are saying, Masaya doesn't really feel like THE central main character, or even a main character in general among the several MCs this anime has. And I'd also like to see some romantic development but I don't think that's going to happen. I understand why Misaki is reacting this way, but I think this is being overblown for dramatic purposes. If I'm understanding correctly (I was kind of drifting in and out of this episode), she's quitting because she realizes there are players that are waaaaay better than her? Who cares, that's always going to be the case, whether it's a sport or in academics or whatever. Just suck it up and keep working hard. *sigh* lets just see what happens next though |

| Beach episode with no Misaki, what a waste. Asuka is this anime's Goku. I just hope the next episode wouldn't be predictable, like Asuka & the others convince Misaki to come back, then Misaki cries, then she tears off the resignation paper herself and remains in FC club. |

We're 7 episodes in and we still have no clue why he quit. |

| Some surprises during the episode, especially during the final dispute of the competition, and the focus on feelings that Misaki was keeping to herself, I really like her personality, she delivers real feelings for the adaptation, I also liked Madoka in this episode, but so far not seen the protagonist do anything relevant to the story, I expected to see a little romance in the plot but so far nothing has happened, I hope to see a good development in the next episodes .. |
