I'm Sakamoto) will be receiving a TV anime adaptation scheduled to air in Spring 2016 on TBS and BS-TBS.Synopsis First year high school student Sakamoto isn't just cool, he's the coolest! Almost immediately after starting school, he began attracting everyone's attention. The girls love him, and most of the boys resent him. There's even a boy in the class who works as a model, but who is constantly upstaged by Sakamoto! No matter what tricks the other boys try to play on him, Sakamoto always manages to foil them with ease and grace. Though Sakamoto may seem cool and aloof, he helps others when asked, such as in the case of the boy in his class who was being constantly bullied. No matter what difficulties Sakamoto encounters, he moves through his high school life with confidence and class! | Hope this gets a good comedy staff. Also feel like this would suit being a short or half-length episodes. Feel like this should go to Sunrise/Bandai Namco Pictures or J.C. Staff. Wonder who will be the VA of Sakamoto. |

| I have not read this,but it looks cool :) What I like is that they are adapting a finished manga. The anime industry definitely needs to consider adapting good 4-5 volume long mangas/novels into 12 eps series, rather than trying to do unfinished and rushed adaptations. (I know that they need to do a few cheap advertises to earn their money,but I think with the right marketing they could also make a bunch of money from good finished manga series.) |

| All hail Sakamoto! My goodness, this is a good surprise. Hoping for a great animation studio (Madhouse pls.), I hope they don't make it a short anime, 24 minute episodes please. I also hope they cast Yuichi Nakamura or Mamoru Miyano for Swagamoto, as they are the only seiyuu I see fit to voice him. I can already picture the episodes where he goes to school, he will always battle his PE Teacher before the opening sequence happens. |
