| OMG, what an AMAZING conclusion to this arc. That was just a brilliant Ending. At first i thought Vivi was going to end up with the crew but she decided to stay there. That silent farewell to vivi was just so cool. X= Nakama :) They sure know how to make an impression on everyone they meet. Not to mention the old one piece theme song playing in the back ground, that was great! |

| ashfioahf that was such a good and inspiring ending. if i hadn't been spoiled, i would have been pleasantly surprised that vivi decided to stay! it makes sense, after all what's the point of leaving her country after she's done all she can to save it. one piece does farewell scenes better than any shounen i've seen so far, where they're usually sappy and staid. |

Loved Chopper jumping in the end so Vivi could see him. Even though I did not particularly like Vivi's character I am having mixed feelings regarding her. | Aww, that was a really nice ending :s That song "We Are" just... I love it :/ I can tell it's just gonna be one of those things that I'll always remember, like the Pokemon theme :3 I wonder if I'll end up sticking with the show 'til the end, and have the pleasure of seeing what happens, hell, that'll probably be like a decade before One Piece is concluded though, according to what people say, but that will make it even better, one episode a week. |

| Knowing Nico Robbin was to join the crew from the opening and now the next episode preview I was expecting her to save the Straw Hats from the navy, so seeing what Bon Clay did was subversive for me. And boy, I did not expect Bon-chan to save the day like that. That being said the second the navy spotted them on the retreating ship I knew in my bones that it was Bon-chan. Perhaps his friendship isn't as real as the Straw Hats, and perhaps he'd still jump ship if the occasion benefited him, but his infatuation with ideals and people that he goes through does create some courageous action and a lot do think action speaks louder than words. I never would have expected some exciting and inspirational moves from such a comical character. Since I had already decided that there was no way for Vivi to join the Straw Hats I had already assumed she came to say goodbye. I also want to note that Nami and Luffy yelled "Vivi!", but Usopp yelled "Karoo!", I'm sure the person Karoo wanted to say goodbye to the most was Usopp as well and that's adorable. I can't say I felt emotional about leaving Vivi behind, I felt a lot more so about Sanji's farewell to Zeff for instance. In my mind Vivi was changed by the Straw Hats much more than she impacted them, and her whole character was only characterized enough to make us care about the arc and Alabasta in general. I think she was more than a plot device, but she still played the role of one, introducing a reason for plot to the cast, only characterizing enough for that reason, and leaving once its done. I don't think she's a bad character, but definitely a forgettable one and it made me not care as much as I would like to about leaving her behind. That being said, the Straw Hats holding up their 'friendship marks' made me tear up. That was iconic. |
| Awhh man,that was beautiful as much as I wanted Vivi to come with us,you know the thing with Vivi dudes is that she's been with us for so long that's why it would be nice for her to come along with us because it automatically feels like she's a part of us,she's part of the crew,because she's been a part of us for so long it's not a question,she has other stuffs to do,I know she has stuffs to do but for a moment we forget that don't we? because she's been with us for so long and we understand that Vivi that you know as much as you want to come with us you can't but it's not the end I'm sure we will come across you as many more times. And Bon Clay lol that man... I couldn't stand him at the beginning but now I'm sure he has a special place in our hearts it's because of him with his ability he does with his right hand it was his left hand innit? anyway it's because of him we escaped from the marine you get me. But the marines are still on their back man they're not gonna let go. especially that Hina woman she seems more focus like Tashigi she's seems like she has no choice but to stop them,I mean if she was with Tashigi when they were unconscious she would of flippin' snatch their asses. |
