By the second half of the series, this was my OTP: http://www.bonkoi.com/images/story/24/img04.jpg Sorry, but I just can't relate to the majority of you (66%, according to the poll) on these threads who keep shipping Sayuri with Ryou. Only 11% of you agree with me that Mitsuki is Sayuri's soul mate. The series got off to a good start with nice character designs and backgrounds. I never had any concern about the quality of the animation. This helped me to get to the point of caring about the various characters. I did in fact watch each episode several times, both raw and subbed. Even so, I don't imagine that I'll be re-watching it in the future. On the other hand, I'll certainly have a look at future smartphone-game-based bishie-packed Shoujo series. I don't see the series as being flawed, since it appears to be a faithful adaptation of the game, at least as I imagine the game play. But I found it difficult to get engrossed in the story due to the structure where the episodes were usually very disjointed from each other. So many interesting plot points appeared but then were completely abandoned. (like that weird shadow on Sannomiya-san's leg in that photo on the camping trip) As a result of that, I eventually lost interest when "interesting" things appeared to happen, since I knew that none of my questions were going to be answered in the following episode. When Yoshinosuke-sensei touched Sayuri on her shoulder when they were alone in his classroom, that creeped me out a bit since there is no way that a teacher should be doing that in this decade. However, that kind of thing was industry- standard back in the 1970s. Yoshinosuke-sensei probably realized, correctly, that he could get away with it since, technically, he was no longer Sayuri's teacher. I noticed that the layout of Mitsuki-sensei's classroom is poorly designed in that there are large windows at the very back. This makes it hard to clearly see his students' faces, which is an educational obstacle. The presence of the windows might be unavoidable due to the original design of the building. However, the windows should have been covered with semi-opaque curtains. Or maybe they could have planted thick bushes just outside. |

| For me Mitsuki was too cliché, goody-two-shoes prince type that the heroine only has hots for because he's... well, the prince. It was way more natural with Ryou, so there goes my "vote". I won't lie, I expected more from this final episode. But I will remember Bonjour as cute harem with likable characters and level-headed heroine. After nightmares like Amnesia, Arcana Famiglia or Diabolik Lovers, Kamigami no Asobi and Bonjor were like a detox. 7/10 for me. I feel it's a little too high objectively, but I got lots of fun from this one. |

| I thought they would show them get certificates when they graduated but they didn't. It was a sweet ending to a sweet show but I kinda expected more from the ending than what happened. The photo was nice and saying they can still meet up though. I enjoyed the show on a whole even if sometimes it was a tad bizarre. Ryou was totally my favourite, so gorgeous <3 I loved him and Sayuri together <3 |

| Okay I can't lie I teared up just a little bit because I'm sad it's over and I'm gonna miss this! It was a cute little story with adorable & sweet characters and even though the episodes were so short they always made my day. xD I loved the end part with Mitsuki whispering into Sayuri's ear and then she fell LOL. |

| i kinda knew something like this was going to happen but yea... the we're-all-friends-ending and... it still pissed me off. 5/10 for me. I cant say its bad. |
| This was probably the poorest episode. It just felt like such a damp squib of an ending. I don't really like reverse harems as it is (I only watched this because of the short length, really) but I was hoping there'd at least be more of an actual climax than this, especially since they were hella setting up Ryou to be the one. |
| Yeah what's up with the harem route when I though Ryou and Sayuri had some chemistry going on ._. Had some funny parts, mostly Ryou. Didn't care too much about the other guys, except maybe Mitsuki. Still, Ryou made the show entertaining, without him, I don't think I would've cared as much. |
| Puh-lease be a decent finale. I don't want to rate this any lower, considering I began to like it quite a bit... If only episode 23 didn't exist. I watched this episode with previous episode subs for some reason... Thanks God the dialogue was simple enough for me to understand it fully. We got a Mitsuki x Sayuri hinting to be the main pair too. btw. Another minus point. Normally I wouldn't mind but really, what's with the sudden rainshower? Their hints were so inconsistent that it made me mad. Also, at least include Sayuri's friend in the so-called group photo (or just call it harem photo if you don't even wish for her to be in it) 5/10... Dropped 3 points. Such a huge shame. I will miss some of the charas tho, mainly Suzumi. |

| I didn't like it too much at first but then I slowly started to get into it and thought it was fairly good for a 5 minute anime. However, the last few episodes were pretty crap and now I can't give it the 6/10 I thought I'd give. I know it's a reverse harem (and there is going to be a game too, so they probably shouldn't officially pair Sayuri up with one of the guys), but they really started heading towards a Sayuri and Ryou ending and then they just fuck it up. :( 5/10 :/ |

| Annnd that's a wrap! Calming episode. The insert song is so nice to listen to. Kimura Ryohei has an adorable singing voice. It was an okay show. Had it's ups and downs. Sometimes the show was kind of lame/boring and sometimes it was really enjoyable and fun. 6/10 Kakki's voice is so amazing. This show made me like him ever more as a seiyuu. Best boy was Thank god we have more reverse harem next season! Utapri, come at me. |

| The flow of this anime was very bad sometimes :/ Beginning of the series was trash lol. Things happened suddenly way too quickly and you don't really develop much of an attachment to the characters bc of it. Tossing in these kawaii ship scenes and expecting us to accept it? No thanks. They're lucky there are 24 eps so that improved in the middle-ish and characters were more likable as you got to know them more with screentime. Some very predictable scenes were thrown in. I just didn't like the rushing. And to me, it didn't make sense that those 3 girls stopped bullying Sayuri that quickly but whatever. Less of the typical bullying drama to deal with. Sometimes eps lost focus on being a reverse harem anime focused on patisserie as its main concept so some of those were boring. And not to mention random ass things thrown in like the Maro mascot being made into a dream or tournament adrenaline recovery thing. Ridiculous. Things like that made this anime not the greatest, although cringey wtf-is-this type of shit is okay sometimes so I'll let it slide. But what I did like is how Sayuri is a sweet girl and not that much of a pushover or useless like most reverse harem heroines are. She wasn't annoying and crying all the time and helpless. Which made it likable. 5/10 |

| This series didn't know what it wanted to be. Very cliche but I thought the small bite sized chunks would break up the monotiy and cut the fat. Yet it spent so much filler doing shenanigans with the group. Instead of focusing on Sayuri and making her seem like a character then an insert. I mean I guess I shouldn't be shocked, it's a reverse harem but it sets up all these seeds and does nothing. I assume this has a game? Ryou/Sayuri was obvious but they really did try it with Mitsuki. THE HANDSHAKE WAS A SLAP IN THE FACE. Whatever. 4/10. Go read Kitchen Princess. It has all these elements but actually about cooking and doesn't jerk your fucking chain. |
