| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well, the OVA is out and runs roughly the usual time of 23-24 minutes. All the main characters return. It's also nice to see Vivi in her normal form again. And as for this OVA, it had more comedy than I had expected with the girls dressed in those cute clothes. Some other fan service part aside (holy shit Akari bathing..and the suggestive camera angles on Chaika), it was fun. Even Red Chaika is in this to spice up the story. Then again, this is an OVA so I expected a bit of fan service. Akari fans would be happy. |

| I didn't get interested in it. But most likely the problem is simply that I don't like the genre. However, the concept of a princess who goes around always carrying a coffin is memorable. So maybe I'll give it a second chance after it gets subbed. The bathing scene was certainly a highlight. |

| Hm so i am taking that these are 2 episodes that should have been included with the main season but for some reason they weren't and as a result were also cut in half. So that explains why the second season was only 10 eps.....cause if they added these 2 it would have been a full blown 24 ep series...which would fit it well....huh sometimes i question the Japanese taste in a series....if it sold more it would have had better treatment.. Oh well on the bright side we got a little bit more of it before it is completely gone. a little bit of fan service and comedy and more chaika's greatness.... Shocking truth ..XD i just hope this ova will be included with the western release too. It definitley secured a place in the otaku fandom to be considered an Anime classic for sure. i |

| Well that was entertaining! I love this series to pieces so it was nice to see all the characters again, considering I have been counting down the months for this. Of course I had to watch it in Spanish, and while I can speak and read Spanish, I didn't really catch everything as well as I would have liked. So I will definitely be rewatching it when its subbed in English. Now to start taking screen shots from the raw... |

| Quite the fun OVA. Missed Akari's remarks about Toru cross dressing! Somehow being part of the play and ended burning it too. Felt bad for the bald guy, getting smacked from the same bait. Hanging Chaika and those kicks, seeing the three groups in full bloom. |

| Cross-dressed Tooru looked somewhat hot, thought bizarrely. I like how Akari's main concern after seeing him like that was whether to call him Anii-sama or Anee-sama. XD The ad-lib play was hilarious, especially the "Chaimannen-sama" part and Tooru laughing off Gillette's threat, resulting all of them to play along. XD That "Ohohohohoho" laugh reminded me a little of Luvia from Fate/Kaleid, although it was nowhere near Itou Shizuka's level. That bald-headed guy indeed saw something wonderful before getting knocked down. I kinda feel bad for him though.. Dat Akari body was nice! :9 Ruins feud was pretty funny too! So much for Tooru kicking the crews down the muddy water just to end up with them the moment after. In the end, Fredrica saves the way once again as Chaika ended up burning a theater and the ruins back to back. Decent OVA, but I felt like the animation quality was lower than usual. This episode was probably supposed to be included in the TV series but got taken off for some reason. |

| Great OVA! It was great to see all the characters again. And the comedy was on point. CHAIKA VERBAL BATTLE THOUGH! I am however very disappointed. I thought the OVA would be an epilogue to tie up the questions left at the end of the second season. Like what happened to Red Chaika's friends? White Chaika's memories? What is that squad doing now? What about the Demi-humans left on the island? Do they ever rescue the Gundo girl? Do Toru and Fredrica ever ever have that battle? SO many questions. An with a solid ending like that, and only 1 confirmed OVA... They will never be answered. And its a shame, I will miss this series a lot. 8/10 for the ova 8/10 series overall |

| Pretty amusing OVA. That first part where Tooru crossed dressed was a laugh. Also, a decent fanservice in that second part. 7/10 |
| Loved it! Besides both Chaika's missing their marks on their neck the quality was all right. Tooru getting kicked by Vivi had me cracking up more than it should cuz of the echo sound effect that was applied to Tooru's voice. The fanservice was very nice. It wasn't absurd at all but fit with the episode. The only thing I could say that wasn't enough of was red Chaika. Oh well but man, sucks no more Chaika... that's how I feel after watching the ova. There should be another ova to wrap it up nicely. I really like this type of genre and all the characters are likeable. Sigh... orz |

| I'm not sure why all of the girls except the 2 Chaika's took off their clothes but I won't complain. It was fun, wasn't sure what to expect of the ova but I'm happy with this. |

| Even though I liked the series, I didn't expect much from this OVA. Glad I got proven wrong. Sure, it was filler, but it was about as good as filler gets. The only disappointment for me was not getting to hear "Shocking truth!" one more time. |

| I thought this took place after the second season. I was expecting some epilogue or something like that. I did end up enjoying the OVA. The first season was my favorite. You could have added this episode in it and not missed a beat. |
Plot with a little more of fanservice and comedy than in the anime, a special and relaxed, but for me the main thing was remember Akari the best girl of the anime, for that alone already it was worth watching ..  |
