| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Eh, this episode felt slow. We learn more about Chika although it's some of the higher level/rank guys that ticked me off. Yuuma's fearless against them and I respect that. I mean, who the hell do they think they are? TRACE ON. Never underestimate Yuuma tbh. I think that would be a big mistake. Cliffhanger though. |

| So that girl's brother is KajiKaji's character's tutor. There is large "trion power" on her, which is why she attracts Neighbors. They met those who don't like the guy who went to Neighbor. He knows that there are more from faraway. A soldiers vs. Neighbor guy, and That S guy, who is also nearby, entrusts Neighbor guy for being stronger. Oh, no @ the cliffhanger. The preview, though, broke that fear of cliffhanger. |

| Putting the OP in the middle of the episode again...? Chika's so adorable, I love her. With such a considerate person like her, it's good she has Osamu to watch out for her. But dang her trion level is unbelievable. There's not really anything she can do to avoid getting attacked :/ Not like they can take it away or decrease it. Ugh, annoying A-ranks. Well too bad they ain't got nothing on Yuuma. Well okay maybe not nothing since they are able to do some damage, but Yuuma doesn't look like he's struggling too much yet. That last part though. Can Toei stop making it so obvious that they're trying to save money on this anime? With these pauses and one-second-too-long reactions faces, is anyone even going to buy the anime? |
| Kuga's face when he was asking if Osamu and Chika are going out. XD More about Chika's past from Osamu's perspective. She's quite a thoughtful person, considering how little she is. That level of Trion is impressive! Osamu probably felt some type of way seeing Chika surpassing him by a landslide. XD Those damn A-rank guys. >.< Well, they'll probably get owned by Kuga soon, despite putting up a good fight. Decent episode. Toei needs to stop with those long pauses. Sh!t's annoying just like those A-ranks. >.< |

| I would like to recommend to those who find the animation lackluster, with it's odd pauses and etc...please go read the manga! Its freaking amazing. I started reading from the last episode and caught up with the scanlated chapters and I must say it was great! Hopefully this anime will get more people interested in the manga because once the story picks up, it gets really good. No exaggerations. So I really encourage those who have been turned off from the anime thus far to read it instead. You don't want to miss out on this! |

| I really like the story of this anime, but it's just executed so poorly. It's like they only have 5 episodes worth of material, but are trying to extend it by adding so many static scenes and pauses and pro-longing things. It's just so unnecessary and makes this series hard to watch.. On the positive, it's made me want to read the manga. Also can't wait to watch Kuga beat some people up. |

Which kind of explains the long pauses and reuse of scenes from older episodes as those two probably had put their most focus of their work into the 30+ second action sequence to make it fluid enough and not static. Two people can only draw so much depending on how much they are paid to draw. The first half reused quite a bit of older scenes and felt not very exciting due it, plus another long pause when Replica measured Osamu's trion though it was at least less long than that one in the Border higher ups meeting. Chika is huge though.Her Trion that is. If Osamu is a little peanut for neighbors then Chika must be an all-you-can-eat-buffet. xD With Miwa and his squad showing up we finally get some more suspense. Miwa shooting Yuuma was pretty well, I'm not sure how to describe it, but if Yuuma had just been a human protecting Chika then he would be probably dead with that shot alone. Yoneya with his spear and joy for battle seems more easy-going than Miwa who really hates neighbors, probably due what has happened in the past with their first invasion on Mikado city. Liked how Yuuma's ability is not forgotten and can be useful in a battle as well as seen here with Yuuma now knowing that there are more than just Miwa and Yoneya involved in this battle. Jin seems to have a lot of fun watching this battle though given his foresight ability he probably already knows how this battle gonna end. A shame they cut the battle in half, guess they wanted to keep the more exciting stuff of the battle like Yuuma's abilities and the tricks and equipment of Miwa squad for the next episode. Nice though a bit overdramatic cliffhangar given that we due Jin already know Miwa squad cannot beat Yuuma. Well, this still speaks bad news for Yuuma. I've seen in other forums more and more comments that people started reading the manga, so I'm glad even the low-budget Toei anime could get people interested in giving the manga a chance. Hopefully that will get shown in the sales for the next WT volume as well as its rankings in Jump for the japanese watchers. While the manga starts slow once it picks up its pace with Jin and Miwa squad introduction it becomes pretty good and later very good and intense with what happens later. Hope more people will read the manga even if the anime wasn't to their taste. :) |

| they were super obvious that kuga already noticed the snipers so the "suspense" they were trying to build was poorly delivered. i think they should've ended the fight this episode and just shorten the chika part, i mean they didn't have to show the flashbacks again. |

| Almost 14 min in and suddenly a wild OP appeared. Something is seriously wrong when the OP make you think the episode just ended. They have some really slow problem solving this episode. Her Trion power is like a SSS rank (yes, it's a rank unique to her) so just give her a damn trigger and she won't ever need any protection. |

| Toei is utter shit. The show itself would feel quite better if it wasn't animated with the budget of a school allowance. | I had to double check Chikas age after this episode. NO WAY IS SHE 14!!! I guessed between 10 and maybe, MAYBE 12. Kuga is short but still believable as a 15 year old. Chika in no way whatsoever in any single capacity says 14. Kind of put me off tbh. |

| Chika is so precious and cute. And Kuga is so awesome. I like how straightforward he is. That A-rank border agent who always stands behind Kido is cool too. And why doesn't Jin stop them from fighting? |

| Damn, the Border leader, R&D, PR, and this squad are insane... They were about to murder 3 people because... one of them might be a foreigner?!?!?! So she confirmed, outside of opening, to have more Trion ability than Yuuma, and if that's the case, then my guess is she can do like buff abilities radically better than him if learns. I'm watching another anime in my current season "Nige Jouzu no Wakagimi" and also has a future sight person who just spectates and says everything will be alright in a dire situation LOL 3/5, Border cringe |
