THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- I don't think I'd hate seeing a full series of this. It's not bad by any means. I kind of like the idea of instead of people having power levels that the weapons do. That's actually pretty original. I'd be interested in seeing more. |
I reject your reality, and substitute my own. |

I think it was an interesting one shot. While I didn't love it, it peaked my interest and I would like to read more chapters if it ever is continued |

It was cute and enjoyable enough. The searching for lost swords idea is hardly original, but with how strange and over the top the bird and(effectively) fanservice sword's powers were 98 more could prove rather entertaining to discover if Mashima ever decided he wanted to come back to the story. |

Satsuki reminds me of a slightly younger Erza. Too bad this is a one-shot. If it was to be made into a full series, then we'd have power discussions everywhere. Then again, those #s.. |

Eh. That wasn't especially funny or interesting in any way. Extremely generic ect., but it's not like I would expect anything special from a oneshot. Would not read more. 5/10 |

Was interesting enough. I'm all for Fairy Tail coming to an end, and I wouldn't mind Mashima starting this up as a series instead. It's really nice seeing how much his art style has improved since FT began. Those color pages are beautiful, as is Satsuki's design. |

Funny, and cute, as always from Mr Mashima, but kinda cliche, but I would still read it as a full series ofc. :D I can so picture this as a special/OVA. lol |

I think this is based by Erza's character, and Meow for a wolf? I like the samurai concept :) |

So... Mashima decided to make a loli heroine this time huh? I think this could work. |

"A sword said to cut only womans clothes..." That's why I love Mashima... :D Actually, I would like to see a full series of this. |

Art = 10/10, Mashima's body drawings are just too good, he's a genius, even I find his characters hot ._. The_Mad_Wizard said: I think this could work. Agreed, it's pretty interesting imo. |

That was a nice one shot. Mashima is really good with writing classics. If this turns into a series, I don't think it will have a lot of chapters though. |

Interesting concept and storyline. I'll definitely read this if it gets a serialization. But starting off with fanservice this early? |

Please let it be serialized! And she definitely reminds me of a young Erza from her looks <3 |

Eh. I think this oneshot was just... normal. It had a cliche story that wasn't really told well compared to all the other oneshots I've seen before that had great story to get readers seriously hooked for the serialization. This one just felt like he was relying on fanservice to gain popularity with the goofy sword and an Erza-Wendy kid's half drawn chest. I normally don't care about fanservice when it's subtle or casual, but with that sword, it's definitely intentional and aimed at loli-loving guys. The humor just fell flat -- didn't laugh once or come close to one. And I know this was a one-shot, but the kid being able to make a sword longer and up to level 1500 in seconds (above her master's demon sword that is in 700s) with magic without looking tired? There's a lot of potential for easy fights or bullshit powerups like Fairy Tail had after Tenrou Island (or even Phantom Lord). Don't get me wrong. Starbiter Satsuki does have a lot of potential to be a good manga, maybe on par with Rave which is more than a thousand times better than Fairy Tail, but I think there should be (a lot) more concentration on the story-telling than the fanservice and faster updates. Art is great as always though. |

Would not read more. 5/10 Now now, it wasn't that generic. It was pretty refreshing actually. I say, Mashima ends Fairy Tail and begins this series. Seriously. I like this a lot more than current FT. |

"There was also a fire spitting sword, "Fire Dragons Roar" or something, wasn't there?" "That's one of my most famous pieces" AHHH. I had to recover from that xD She was just like a younger version of Erza!! A wolf...monkey...that meows? Okydoky xD |
