| The first episode is nothing short of AWESOME. The manga to anime transition in this part of the series couldn't have been better. |

| With the fact that it lacked in almost every possible category (graphics, sound, plot), the only thing that this episode succeeded in was adding unnecessary gore. There was some shock factor in the episode, but I feel like it was done horribly wrong. The insecure monsters were the source of this, and while they could have at least added some psychological aspect to the mindset of them, they instead made it rub off as a giant clown who doesn't understand love and an idon'tknowwhat ranting into his dick. Honestly, I felt nauseous after the first five minutes, although this feeling faded into mere confusion over why they would sacrifice many great warriors in order to make two suits of armor. |

| Wasn't that bad actually. I came upon this expecting some twisted shit and that's exactly what I've been given. Unlike those horribly bad shows which are incredibly boring, this one is actually pretty entertaining. |

| I think the hate for this is a bit much, yeah. But so is the deffense for it. I don't think it's as bad as some people make out, but I also didn't think it was very good either. Somehow the second half of this episode seemed more tolerable than the first. |

| Some over the top gore with a intriguing setting but at it's core, it's just a typical OVA from it's era. Designs are Obari-pilled. |
