| The recap does help one remember those terms.. The recap was actually not bad (it wasnt a copy-paste thing) but i'm usually not a big fan of recaps.. Nice way of ending the arc though, makes it feel complete. |

| I love hoe Asano is little more than an afterthought (as he should be). I question why he was included in this series to begin with, considering that he doesn't exist in the novel. |
| Matsuoka Yoshitsugu has hardly any range as a voice actor, and is grossly over-cast. Yeah. I said it. |

| Now this is the kind of recap episode I wouldn't mind watching. Although, it still was a chore to sit through. But this "crash course" did clear a few things up, especially all those similar sounding Japanese terms. |
| Would you guys rather help an entire empire of people survive or abandon them to continue your high school career? uh duh. I'm actually enjoying this show though. Everyone said it would get better at like 12-13 but it got pretty good at 9-10 Also the beginning of the ending song is such a mood killer after each episode |

| It's actually an interesting episode if you want to know and learn more things about this anime xD I guess that was last time we can see Rakushun that often :( I hope he's coming to Youko's side in the future |

| Good recap episode, can't remember the last time I saw it as good as this one, they are usually pretty pointless. |

| Best episode so far seems that I forgot almost everything that happen before. Random name of kingdoms and status are a bit unnecessary and too much. The question is why the rat is the one that narrate the whole recap? He is not even there from the first episode and he seems to be know it all and looks non sense at the same time. Hopefully the whole story is not only about conquering and leading a kindom though. |

| Kind of summary episode which also comes back on the numerous technical terms of the functioning of the series'universe. It is also the beginning of a rather long "flashback" arc which will last until episode 20 and during which we will put aside Yoko's story. |
| Recap episodes are the worst, but at least this one primarily served as an exposition and lore commentary, rather than merely a compilation of old scenes without any notable alterations. |
