Hey does anybody know what Aoba meant about Wakaba's prediction coming true? Wakaba predicted that Ko can become the greatest pitcher in Japan and may even be able to throw a 160 km/hr fastball. Then she said, but you still can't have him. Was she referring to the prediction that Aoba can't have Ko? And what was with that pensive look on little Aoba's face when Wakaba said that she can't have Ko. Does that mean that Aoba had feelings for Ko even as a little kid when Wakaba was still alive? Does she have them now in episode 2?

I also kinda wanna know about your theories on what Ko is feeling towards Aoba. Is he starting to have feelings for Aoba and did he have them since before Wakaba died.

I love this anime and am now rewatching it. I love that everything is not obviously stated but it also frustrates me because I reallly want to know what they're thinking. I'm a little dense about these kind of things so if someone can please enlighten me...

Engagement ring? After the shock from episode 1, I got all teary-eyed again.

We learned a bit more from that episode.

First, it was obvious, but they made it clear that Wakaba was in love with Koh.

Then, that Aoba despise him, but it's kinda strange since they seem really close, the three of them, in those flashback from the OP and ED. She seem to not like him because he don't take baseball seriously.

More importantly, Koh seem to seek respect from Aoba. That scene from the match, where he suddenly pitched a direct, was obviously to provoke her, like if he was saying ''me too I can do that''. Also, when Wakaba told him that he needed that exercice, he could just have said no, but he instead started working out so much to the point where he forgot why he was doing it.

The little one from Tsukishima is so hilarious. ''What a wimp, ehhhhh''
Also, when she just kept calling Koh by his first name xD

It made me sad what the fat one said : ''She's our greatest player. Though, when she'll get out of collegue, she won't be able to play in a team...''. All of that because she's a girl :/

Another amazing episode. The Comeback's from everyone against Kou made me laugh.
Kou just can't catch a break there.
Damn When they were reading the list and it went up in age's i kept thinking "imagine how cute it would be if she put engagement ring" and just to stab me with the Cute Sword it was there.
Those Dead Balls mate, Hah i know that feeling all too well.
Those Flashbacks make me Miss Wakaba Even More >.<
Speaking of Flashbacks, It seemed to have hinted Aoba having feelings for Kou Even when they were younger. It wasn't a big hint but more of a slight push.
Ugh, I'm definitely one of those people who state Sports should be playable through both genders.
I also noticed they faded out Wakaba's Part of the clover on the cover...Damn that's Morbid but Still Got me a little.
Argue? Nah Too lazy For That...

A lot better than the first episode. The art is still ugly and bugs me but at least it's getting a little more interesting now that they're more grown up.

Good episode, i think there is just enough to overcome to make the romantic development very satisfying and emotional. I look forward to it

Finding out that an engagement ring was a listed present did sting.

Decent setup. I don't have many thoughts yet.

Senda has to change hit attitude if he doesn't want to remain the annoying character type.
Lol, Aoba is a big tsundere.
Wakaba told her to keep her hands off him back then, that will only make things more complicated.

I kind liked the pace of the sport genre in the anime, in the 1st ep it barely tickles and so in this, it is showing that the writers thought a lot about how to present the baseball in the anime.
Wakabe absent from the 1st ep is really bold, it's just show that Wakabe weren't in Kou and Ahoba life for nothing, she has a lot of meaning for both of them, in the first ep Wakabe importance for Kou and in this episode how much she was important to Ahoba (telling Wakabe "what do you want to do with a guy like this" XD).
with all this side baseball it makes the watcher to know more about baseball and watch it.

Those flashbacks really make me miss Wakaba (age 20: engagement ring (T⌓T) ) even though she only lived for 1 ep. Seems like there is a lot to overcome for both Aoba and Ko.

It was intimidating to watch episode 2 after watching episode 1. Glad I've continued. I'm in love!

Ko-chan isn't very interested in baseball. Guess it'll take some time for him to get his motivation, or it might just happen in the next episode. Aoba and Ko have interesting chemistry. It's both of rivalry and romance! :)

I thought school baseball was segregated based on gender. Wasn't expecting a female to pitch. I guess it's only for middle school and won't control through high school? I know nothing about baseball or Japanese school systems so forgive me.

@ezionic Aoba is one year younger than Ko and Wakaba, it confused me too since I thought they were all the same age at first
