| This was OK, nothing stood out too much about this special IMO. However, Senji being main alone brings me back to one thing that botherd me about Deadman Wonderland... Why in the world did Senji lose to Ganta?! I know the answer to this question frankly; Main character law - a writer has to ensure that the main character, who's always a newbie, remains in the best shape possible in order to observe, plant themseles in the middle and move up, in the meantime, one upping established characters who should be superiour to them just to remind us all that 'this is the main, he's the hero and he has potential'. What's made things worst to add to the above is Senji being skilled in his ability in 'his previous life'. |

| Damn, Senji was and is still a cool guy. That's a pretty awesome blade at the end, but that has to be really bad if he lost all that blood. I hope there could be a sequel to the series, otherwise...I'll find some time to squeeze in the manga if I can. .-. |

| I would have rather learned about either how he got into DW, from being a cop, or right after the... red day thing, when he got his ability and how he reacted to it. But this was a nice easy-going OVA, and I'll never say no to more Senji. |

| Senji is one of the most badass characters in Deadman even though he didn't have that much screen time. When I saw there was an OVA of him it didn't take me 2 seconds to upload it. Loved the 25 minute preview of Senji's past. It was done well. Most people that didn't like the OVA was probably because they were expecting to see how Senji made it into Deadman Wonderland... well, that would have been better but this was good too! Makes me hope that there will be a second part to this OVA. I hope. *crosses fingers* |

| It as good and gave us all more view into Senji's character but still. It was way too predictable through out. |

| It was OK, really. Can't give it much more than that. Having the plot condensed in a lil less than 30 min episode does take a toll on the overall quality. And not even Senji could save it. But heck...I gotta admit that it was better having Senji as the protagonist here as opposed to Ganta. A solid 6/10 for me. |

| 5 words: Senji is a certified badass! (6 If you consider bad and ass a word.) Great OVA, but poor Senji....losing the orphanage and the little kid and girl....but hey, it's Deadman Wonderland....what would you expect from a gorey anime like this. Overall, it was great, not the best though. :P |

| I was kind of disappointed. Because of the last episode, I was expecting the OVA to reflect on Ganta and Shiro's past. Now I feel like I'll never know unless they come out with a 2nd season. |

| SENJI PLEASE ARREST ME Damn you're so cool on policeman duty *q* He is my favorite in the original series (along with Nagi) but watching him on this OVA made me so happy :'DDDDD I wonder how did he ended up as a prisoner on Deadman Wonderland, and the fate of his friends/colleagues. I heard somewhere that all of them died Q___Q While the villain might be shallow (what is his true motive? idk) and the resolution is not explicitly stated, I really enjoyed watching this OVA. 8/10 |

| I just watched it and it was okay, but nothing more actually. It felt more like an extended trailer or teaser for the series animation style rather than an original story. 5/10 |
| To be honest I was much disappointed about the OVA ... I mean .. Why an OVA about him in first place!? There are soooo many open questions about everything after the last episode. I would have preferd something about Shiro or something like that. Second IF you want to make something like that at LEAST Show me how he get inside the prision -.- Beside that it was well ok. Not bad, surly not good in my eyes .___. |

| Another chance missed for the "hero" to say "yes, i am" (@ "you're not that kind of person"). Many kill dozens of goons, but when it comes to the big bad, they suddenly discover their conscience or whatever. Heck, as he was going there to kill him, why did he even smash that table instead of going straight for it. Maybe it would have worked, maybe not, but i hate it when people like Senji are so inconsistent even within a single scene. If someone has a no kill rule, thats okay (though are plenty of ways to hurt people without killing them, which all those "i don't kill" guys always seem to forget. Same with the bullet proof vest that makes it impossible to shoot in the head, or at least legs/feet etc...). but someone like Senji? Besides that it was okay. Would have prefered to see how he ended up in prison too though. |

| I like how there's a running joke with the guy getting punched XD I found this OVA to actually be wholesome and good especially by the 2nd half of it. Nothing special, as I've already liked Senji enough as a character as it is. |
