100% this. This arc is full of so many asspulls that make no logical sense. I think the biggest issue is that all this shit happens conveniently offscreen; unlike season 1 where Kaiji always had to think on the spot; and we kind of figured it out alongside him, since Kaiji never had more knowledge than the viewer. This shit is just really bad, and I hope this arc ends soon. By far the worst part of the series so far

Hum, how exactly was Kaiji able to rent rooms that he put the square water blocks in? Wasn't the entire building owned by Teiai? I'm sure they wouldn't need to rent rooms to people for money...especially when it's also in the same building where you have floors of illegal gambling going on. owo

@marshmallows That is also a detail that is glossed over, and it makes me crazy when I think about it, like, how it even how? Even the building seemed to be full of security to enter the Casino itself. But hey, it is true that a lot of the rooms were empty, there is a chance that Teiai rents rooms for people that do sketchy businesses, you wouldn't want to have some extra money go to waste, so renting to people if the casino is not using all floors, is still possible, very unlikely for Kaiji to get a contract in a few days, probably, but possible, its sketchy businesses after all.

@Dicklesworth This is also true, the rock and scissors game was way too much for me to follow due to the amount of players, but when Kaiji played, I could follow him, the E-Card game, I could follow him, and it was peak, with the dice, I could follow him too until the very last episodes, but now we don't know what Kaiji is thinking, we can't follow what he's thinking, so in that is a little disappointing. Hearing the strategies afterwards though, I got to admit, its still kinda cool.
