| Went into this one blind but it's island anime, so I'm enjoying it. Character models look good and some of the backdrops are really pretty. Nice, chill vibe. Don't know if there's going to be much of a story, but so far, so good. |
| Can't get more "summer-y" feeling than this. Dang it Hairi! Your aim got game! Likely on par with Hydro Gladiator Kai sniping shirtless dudes a mile away. Also that ED song spook almost made my eyes sweat. On another note, I think the pacing is whack for anime-only ppl. I hope the show could still convey the "vibe" that made people love this story. |

| This was probably the best use of shaved ice that I've seen in a long time! Hairi and Ao having their own battle with shaved ice after he chucked his on her after seeing her undressed was hilarious! XD Either way, Hairi is settling in pretty nicely and I enjoyed seeing the other supporting cast giving him a small, but wholesome welcoming party. He was able to have more time talking to the main girls, including Shiroha, where she wanted to know more about why his "wings" were clipped. While it remains mostly unclear, it does hint to something relating to his experience in a swimming club, where it felt rather suffocating to him. Over time, we'll know more about his backstory, so I do look forward to knowing more of it in due time. The ED song was pretty nice and had some really nice visuals for it as well. I'm enjoying what I've seen so far. Hopefully Umi will keep getting more screentime due to how precious she is with her interactions with Hairi. |
| They cut the OP and ED so strangely, listen to the full or game versions and you'll see what I mean. Seems bits and pieces of Umi's dialogue are going to be turned into more fleshed out scenes, might even skip over her route entirely and replace it with that. Also curious if we will get the Kana Hanazawa voice over cause that is the first thing you hear [even before the title screen] when you boot up the game and is quite important or if they'll save that then animate it in Alka or Pocket or they just get spread throughout the arcs. Shiroha also is animated really cute here. And god that OST when Tsumugi is humming, that will be fun when we get there. |

| The prologue concludes with the introduction of more characters. I'm going to focus on the two new girls. The black-haired girl is referenced, but not introduced, and this is because of the archetype that she is embodying. She represents the primordial chaos and the unknown (she's carrying an intriguing suitcase, she's a wanderer), so she's reserved for later, more special moments in the story. She contrasts sharply with Shiroha, who represents purity, the virgin spirit or island goddess that our protagonist must connect with to move forward in his journey. Shiroha's character development clearly is going to focus on her femininity symbolized by her connection with the sea (a symbol for fertility) and bird watching (a metaphor for sexual desire). So the black-haired girl is going to become the character antithesis of Shiroha. The second character introduced, Tsumugi, perched on the lighthouse, embodies the fool archetype. Her innocent yet reckless behavior will challenge social norms and expectations (as evidenced by her disregard for personal safety) to reveal deep truths about the rest of the characters (she's shown intuitively dispensing wisdom from a lighthouse, symbolizing the inner light of wisdom). She serves as Ao's counterpart, a character who embodies order and the strict enforcement of rules, and for this reason Ao is going to be at the receiving end of many embarrassing situations that, let's hope, will involve more fanservice... In my opinion these characters are a great design because they complement one another, creating a balanced dynamic. It's a 10/10 masterpiece for me so far. |

| Though I'm not sure if it's good or bad, nothing has been changed from 2000; the period of Kanon, Air, etc. The signature of Key can be seen everywhere. You can find it in forced events, random comedy, cringey phrases, nonsense interjection thing like "Mugyu". |

Shizuku and Nomiki route maybe will be adapted to OVA like how they did with Tomoyo and Kyo in Clannad, Shiki route probably will blend with the main heroines' route because it's crucial with the ending

| So, MC also has that syndrome... lol It's rather interesting for MC to get into a 2nd action with our blue-haired girl... π³π³π³ well, it's not that overbearing, unlike some series out there that makes s*x-positions as the primary fan-service. ππ (disgustingly, so) Anyway, another lovely episode. The watergun-girl is cool. The swimming-girl is shy. The tower-girl is an airhead. The little sister cooks for MC every single day... πππ P.S. Since this series is mostly AA, I'm hyped for more! |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

| Ah, I'm so glad to see some good "old" anime from Key. Lots of manzai humor, quirky weird characters, animal mascots, magical realism and melancholic vn music from the 00s. I'm not a huge fan of their current aesthetics, but in this case, everything was done more or less naturaly. |
