@Flick_on Easy there with the "triggered" in caps pal, I haven't even heard about ishowspeed and I clearly don't give a fuck about him or his opinion about anything, but I can still voice my opinion about it even if I don't care, that's what forums are for, you can just respond to a specific topic even if you don't actually care about it like this one.

On the other hand, the way you responded made it look like you are one of ishowspeed (whoever that is) biggest fans or something, you do you, I'm not judging.

I don’t have any issues if SL is anyone’s best anime ever or at least their top 5, I think they have bad taste but I don’t have an issue with it.
Where I draw the line is when SL fangirls starts claiming it’s “the” best anime of all time, the decade or even this year. SL being a battle anime does not excuse it from having a terrible story and characters, the fact that most fans can’t even name more than 5 characters off the top of their head after 2 seasons is a testament to that.
Yes it’s an enjoyable anime but so was SAO yet we don’t see people claiming its peak

LOL, iShowSpeed liking SL is not an argument for the show, if anything, it's more like many will say "Yep, that checks out, it fits - that's the kind of people hyping SL". He's a insufferable Clown/Idiot (or at the very least plays the role of one) and his audience consists mostly of kids, fellow idiots (in a rather broad sense and not just "downright stupid" kind of idiot sense) and probably hate-watchers. Just look at the linked video! 200k views, a month old - he couldn't even be bothered to write his name correctly or use capital letters. Unless I missed a meme of him showing himself piss, ishowpeed LMAO.

Interesting to see he likes One Piece though, makes you wonder.

@Avicebrons I love Solo Leveling and all, I believe this anime is awesome and deserves a high rating, but I also agree with this guy, you can watch something and not enjoy it, but you still watch it anyway.

I finished FMAB despite not enjoying that piece of shit, the only reason I wasted my time watching that garbage is that it had a high rating and I wanted to finish it just to see all the fuss around it, well I did finish it, but I hated it, FMAB is nothing more than an overrated/overhyped piece of shit IMHO and I quickly realized how the ratings are mostly bullshit in any website you visit, well I knew it was mostly bullshit before it, but watching FMAB was the nail in the coffin for me.

Taste is subjective and just because an anime is highly rated doesn't mean that you will enjoy it, but you still watch it just to see how it will end or to see all the fuss surrounding it.

No one is fighting over it except you who is taking the fight seriously. Opinions always clash no matter what, that is what humans are whether you like it or not its reality. So you have 2 options which are to ignore or to engage and I always choose the first cause it always calms the mind and just enjoy the anime for myself without engage in meaningless discussions of entertainment. Also to remind you of your other comment not everyone knows who ishowspeed is and not everyone should know him. And to correct your statement currently the biggest streamer is not ishowspeed but mrbeast. Surely someone who doesn't live in a rock should know that.
