You can’t spell SELFISH without an “elf,” and Memmeln is definitely a selfish cunt along with all those idiot Ultimate Void stans. If you're tired of seeing your friends dying defending against the Voids, then at least have the balls to take yourself out of the equation. Don't go deciding to end the world because you’re too chickenshit to keep fighting.

Yes, it’s sad that elves like Memmeln have been fighting for a long time, and losing close friends left right, and center. Yet, even if the Voids weren’t around to cause trouble, the situation would still be the same. Elves will still live long lives and lose friends. It’s part of life, so get over it. Life is hard, and it’s a bitch. We decide what to make of it, don't let it decide for you. I find this sort of situation silly. They could've gone so many other ways with the direction of this story. It’s sort of a cop-out that it took a silly song and dance to snap Memmeln and her band of merry doomsday-preppers out of their funk.

Anyway, I guess it’s time to move on to the next doomsday scenario. Let’s hope these same people don't have a change of heart in a few centuries when they again grow tired of the situation. They won't have another Natsuko to snap them out of their idiotic end-of-day cult mentality. Who will provide the elves with fap material to ease their suffering? May the gods have mercy on us all. 🤣🤣🤣

Btw, the fictional boys idol group Natsuko drew was actually the girls band Togenashi Togeari in disguise.

Just no. Togetoge are way cooler, there’s nobody in that poster even close to Momoka or Subaru or Nina or Rupa or Tomo. They are closer to Hello Happy World from Bang Dream. Blue is Kanon, Blonde is Kokoro, purple is Kaoru, orange is Hagumi and green has to be Misaki when she’s not in Michelle. There’s probably a better match in Love Live, but I haven’t seen much of that.

Yeah I also was not expecting drawings of a male idol to placate Memmeln from her plans to end the world but here we are. On that note since the movie plot has been altered so much I suspect that Natsuko will no longer be able to predict what will happen next.

Really sloppy plot, really insulting characters. Episode 4 really hit rock bottom in terms of storytelling. Really a shame, especially because it is a waste of time for the Mappa studio, which really has so much material to produce with really top-notch seize.

god dammit. I decided to give a show another try and i will be honest, this episode was honestly fun for me. Finally felt like the character interactions were amusing and the idol male performance is so unbelievably random and dumb in context that i cant help but love it.
Like, dont get me wrong, this episode isnt great per se because the actual character writing/development is still reaaaaal weak. Memmelns character and motivation is basically just a trope and nothing else, and even if i did enjoy the resolution of the episode with the idol, it still didnt really do many favors for her character.
But in the end, did i have "fun"? I indeed did. I dont know if the upcoming episodes will be like this but in a way i hope so.

So many great cute moments, the cheek squeeze to each from both of them, getting close many times with the blushing, luke stuttering embarresed while imagining being with Natsuko just absolute peak. Love to see my girl having a romance with Luke and dunking on Union. Him trying to push them apart at one point in the episode was hilarious because they are already so close.

I have been loving this Anime since episode 1 dropped it is just so good! This episode was hilarious with the great cute moments between Luke and Natsuko and them working together. And the fact that Natsuko asked Mel why the main void is her oshi which brought her to later literally making her an oshi to save luke, lol!

Some commented that this was like dark Frieren and they are definitely on point. Natsuko calling Mel out and calling her selfish was so good. Bro literally wanted to destroy everyone because she can't tolerate the pain of a long life span but rather than bearing with it like Frieren she wanted to take from everyone else

A very what moment, but I also kind of love it. Does it make sense? Only if you squint at it sideways, but we're tossing together the history of anime here. It probably shouldn't make sense. The silly and nostalgia is doing a lot more for me than most shows this season.

I'm in the same boat. Sure it looks good, but currently it's just another bland Isekai anime. There are a lot more interesting ones than Zenshu. One more week, then I'm dropping this.

After the first 3 episodes I was tricked into thinking Natsuko was going to draw something even more badass this time. However... a male idol full of Disney vibes singing and spreading love and peace?? What did I just witness??

At this point I have no idea what would happen next, but in a good way. Does it make sense? NO. Did I have fun? YES.

Zenshuu. is fantastic on so many levels and this episode is the best proof of it so far.
Continues the top notch comedy, unpredictability and the pace which won't let you rest for a single minute, in a good way.
How was that musical performance cheesy, funny and grandiose at the same time?! When Memmeln joined in, I started laughing out of sheer joy.

...also, the animation continues to be pretty much perfect.
Seriously underrated at current 7.24 imo.

I like this anime more and more every ep. I thought it was really funny how Natsuko solved this one, and as usual the animation is amazing. Also love the dynamic between her and Luke. I cant wait for next ep! I am getting worried that this'll have a sad ending though 😭 the outro makes me feel that way

This is just about the dumbest single episode of anime I've ever watched and you know what? I dig it. The magical girl transformation, the silliest of silly solutions to what appeared to be an incredibly hefty subject, it was all, counterintuitively, incredibly fun. That's the true virtue of this show. Zenshuu dared to ask "what if Frieren, but with a lobotomy".

If this is just a show about what would happen if you put anime tropes/references in isekai just because they can, that's kinda based.

So many people into anime collect merch with their fav anime characters, many times to fill the void similar to Memmelm's. For many people and for the world it's better they are play with they beloved figurines in basement than make mass shooting, make sarin metro attack or join to ISIS. Power of anime saves the world ;)

Also it's completely understable in anime with so many tributes and references to it's own public & industry.

And, honestly, "She is not like me" Natsuko fell in love in her favourite ML, irl she is in similar circumstances like Memmelm, just like her solution.

Honestly, I want to love this show more. The animation is clean and fun, MC is cute, story setting is technically isekai, but more interesting.

But, the story writing leaves much to be desired. In this episode specifically, they set up a seemingly heavy plot without establishing it enough and brushed through with an equally lacking solution, making the whole thing felt ridiculous.

I would enjoy the show more if it's mainly comedy, but it really isn't that kind of story.

I started enjoying this series, but what a major disappointment. This cult and the traitorous actions were so easily solved and dismissed. Seriously an idol song was enough to sway a lifetime of suffering and hopelessness in Memmeln?? What exactly change in Memmeln that made her stop herself from harming Luke, when in the movie she tried to harm him? The heroes just go back to the hideout expecting that no trap would be set? This is bad writing.

enjoyable but... what the actual fuck. the writing in this show is DOGSHIT. i thought we would get a serious plotline, but it ended up into the formulaic pattern.. which is whatever. but why did they do this? this was like, the main plotline and they resolved it in one episode? thats not even the worst of it. Memmeln's development was absolutely horrible... and of course it was because she was infatuated with a man. no one changes that quickly and it was honestly just horrible when she started singing with the man. could've developed this plotline for atleast 2-3 episodes and it would be much better, maybe even 4 episodes. also isn't the ultimate void the big bad of this series, and it was dealt with episode 4? whats next? should i expect anything from this anime? don't get me wrong, it's fun, but i cant understand these writing decisions. i was actually laughing at how bad this storyline was, and how utterly dogshit Memmeln's development was done. im assuming the story will stay this formulaic, even when its with an actual "serious" plot line such as this? anyways, 8/10 for enjoyment

I’m usually a fan of goofiness in these types of shows but Idk… existential dread leading to genocidal desires being solved over an ikemen might be a little too far-fetched for me, isn’t a complete turnoff though.
