I decided on using Giphy to upload my best animation so far. I actually tried converting it through Ezgif before, but found it kept giving me bloated file sizes even with optimizations. Thankfully I don't get the same problem here!

Well, it’s not like I spent two months on it every day non-stop, more like just on-and-off over the period, which has been my usual way of working on these sorts of projects. If I actually did it like a job where I have a set schedule and planning for it, then I might've been able to do it in less than two weeks. I should probably learn to start learning to do things more like that, else I'll just be stuck going back and forth between ideas, taking ages to decide which to hone in on.

I suppose Hell’s Angels would be one of my favorites out of just the standalone anime films that I watched, although there’s still yet to be a full series for it as far as I know, so I’m not sure if it’d be fair to rank them alongside any full-length animes that I’ve seen so far. I just thought that since it's relatively obscure, and I found that I vibed with the character, I could be the first to make them in 3D ^^

Thanks! I just crafted a cell-shaded game styled model of the character in my pfp (Steela), and gave it some basic demo animations. I've been thinking of posting them to the forums here, but idk how you're supposed to share video clips that aren't hosted on YouTube... suppose I'll just convert them to .gif and share them from another platform. For now I reckon I'll just share this front-facing portrait here ^^

I also feel that I have to change up my approach to creativity in general... There's this one project I've been doing with Blender that I've taken about two months with by now, so I'm thinking I might've poured well over enough into that pursuit already 😅

Douse, Koishite Shimaunda is waaaaaaaaaaaaay better than Honey Lemon Soda (HLS) as a shoujo anime in my opinion. HLS has too many ridiculous moments tbh. I mean, the idea of the socially impaired girl that gets "saved" by non other than the most popular guy at school who, by the way, doesn't see any other girl but her & he falls in love with her, is the most OVERUSED idea in the whole shoujo world. And, in HLS, it even gets way sillier.
Douse, Koishite Shimaunda on the other hand goes into the shoujo genre in a really sweet non-cheesy way that makes a lot reflect on their times as teenagers.

Solo Leveling the first season might have some hot takes on it when it comes to how fast the MC develops (since he basically develops way too fast). However, if you push through it, season 2 is going to reward you handsomely.

That's my take on both animes. Hope this helps :)

As for totally new animes, I like Douse, Koishite Shimaunda. I'm a sucker for a good Shoujo anime XD

When it comes to second seasons, then The Apothecary Diaries & Solo Leveling are doing great.

That's exactly the reason, the last time I watch too much of the same genre, in that case it was isekai, I couldn't watch another isekai for months! I can watch now because I gave myself a break and watched other genre's.
