| season 2 has already been announced and manga readers know it can be way better than season 1!!! was kind of a lackluster ending ep but heard it had some production issues (still looked always above avg at its worse!) till the end and some scenes badly needed more frames to look less stiff! the ep direction was nothing bad nor too good, was decent. really thought yoshio would pull thru with something, ig not but I HOPE he's cooking for next season. that episode 1 was something else man... we will be waiting for season 2, take your time with it yoshihara! (really take your time to cook, goat!)  |

| Meh. Too generic and borrows too much of Danmachi for me to properly enjoy this. Constantly borrowing characters and lore from another story cheapens the story as a whole for me. Will's Gary Stu'ness was telegraphed from the very first episodes too. If it wasn't for the luck of landing a top animation outfit this would not have gotten a second season. |

| just a 3/5 enjoyable episode. Julius just can't shut his mouth hahaha. How Collette keeps feeding Lihanna LOL. It seems that menacing duo achieved their goal of the mage slayer or whatever, and the tower only got a broken piece or prototype or something. There appears to be other swords and a magic-less tribe that is critical for going down into the dungeon. Also learned there are over 49 sub-floors!!!! Peaceful, I'll keep the anime at 8/10 but arguably should be lower. Happy to Elfie back to having more and more Will plushies and back to being with Will nightly, to include in the shower ;). My guess is Will is the child of a Magia Vander or whatever, however likely won't find out anytime soon, all we know is wand AND sword is the intent of his existence and Elfie knows it too. |

| They really took the opportunity to add a bunch of mystery in the last episode to keep us interested in a s2. I can't say it didn't work tho. Also that 'supporter' design is very deja vu. Pretty interested in seeing what happens to that Mage Slayer tho. They showed Finn have a broken version, but the villains also had a full one while managing to escape. I'd assume that one is fake, or that the villains were able to create a new one through whatever experiments. But the fact that they killed off the teachers meant that they wanted their presence to be known. |
| Glad they resolved all the Sentinels that were looking for them. The Light Magia Vander seems amazing coming to their rescue. :O Can't wait to see who the Supporter is- it sounds like there are other 'Swords' around besides Will. See everyone on the 2nd season. =) |
| An ending episode filled with a bit of recap and lighthearted banter between the cast before finally continuing along the story. Ending was good, cannot wait for season two! |

| Overall, really enjoyed this anime. Animation and fights were great and I think it has a pretty interesting story. It started losing me a bit towards the end though. I like having my reliable MC-type characters, but it kind of got a bit much when literally every supporting character was obsessed with Will to some degree. Sion actually became a personal favorite. From an asshole to somewhat less of an asshole, but with the guts to do his best & learn. Really curious what will S2 bring. I'd like to know more about the Finn tribe as they seem to be up there in terms of status with the mages. Think I'd give it a 7/10. If we can have the supporting characters become more than just fanboys for MC I'd say an 8. |

| A great first season. Enjoyed everything about it. As expected of Yoshihara, he did an incredible job directing the show. It was a happy end to this season. However, the new characters have been introduced and they do raise some questions about all of this. Can't wait for next season. It has already been announced, so that's great. Yuki Hayashi did an amazing job. Really solid show. |

| Wow this anime really surprised me. Turned out from the author of Danmachi. This looks like a combination of Mashle and Danmachi. Glad that 2nd season is announced, looking forward to it. |
| The scene of Lihanna eating those apples was so fucking cute. Sure Lihanna, you're not a glutton. And just like that, she won me over <3. Wait a minute, is that you, Finn? Author really loves to reuse his characters lol. Well, that's it for this ser... season. Overall the show was fun and knew how to be epic while looking fantastic. That said, I didn't give a shit about any of the characters except Colette. And even Will was ok at best. I don't know, I feel like everyone was too much of an asshole even for a series like this. Even the last party needed a near death experience to change hearts and not even all of them. Oh, and at this rate, Will is closer to being fucked by Sion or Rosty (?) than he is to ever reaching Elfie. |
| Decent ending for this season, I wonder who Finn really is and I feel like Will might be from the same race since he can't use magic but I guess we'll see next season, the exams are starting now. Good anime overall I like this kind of story just like Mashle but here I'm interested in the main goal and seems like the development has been solid so far, not to mention the animation being impressive during the fights. 7,5/10 I would say for me. |

And Sion is such a fkng tsundere it's annoying. Lihanna is beautiful ❤️ And Colette is the best ❤️ I'll miss her much, 2nd season please come quickly! |
