| Well goodbye my second favourite anime, it’s been one incredible journey. Although I can’t really say that cause I binged everything before season 3 in like a few days because of how much I loved this show. So it’s not been a long journey for me 🤣 Regardless this was a phenomenal anime which once again made me cry with happiness like I was bloody performing with them. Sucks kanade couldn’t be with them but hey I’m sure she managed to get the place the year after. Kinda sucks we didn’t get a moment between Kumiko and Asuka, I mean they literally never showed her but hell I’m sure she was there. I’m just gonna assume Kumiko and Suuichi got together properly when they graduated. And last episode made it pretty obvious Kumiko would become a teacher. But she became the assistant advisor of the club. So idk I’m assuming Taki still has exists there. Kumiko, Kanade, Taki, Mizore and Yuuko they were all my favourite characters and were all so compelling to see develop through the story. Every character was great but these 5 stood out the most. Ngl I honestly hated Asuka in the beginning of the story but grew to love her as time went on. As for Mayu, she’s the only character I have mixed feelings about but I like her. (Somewhat) This show had absolutely phenomenal animation for a slice of life. Goodbye to the best slice of life I’ve ever watched 10/10 the whole way through. Some kind of voodoo would have to be pulled for us to get another season 🤣🤣 The spring 2024 season has been probably the best I’ve been apart of. Off to go watch one of my other top 10 anime’s finale demon slayer. (Well wait for it I mean) |
| And I watched the final episode just as a closure to this years watching, skipped the netionals. Just watched it without any emotions. After what was done in episode 12 I could not care less. |

A weak way to end such a good show. There was no music performance, just a bunch of reused footage, and little explanation or development on how the students solved or moved along from the conflict.

| god i love this series so much. s2 and s3 were perfect to me and are amazing in all sense of the word. i enjoyed my watch, thank you goatbike euphonium o7. (who wouldnt think that oumae would become a teacher? thats so her, so its funny to see how it was such a heavy decision on her mind) |

| They finally won the fucking gold after 3 years worth of hardwork and practice. I have to agree with some people that this season felt quite rushed, frustrating drama and alright ending. The best part from this season are the cameo from the seniors, Kanade and Kumiko's development especially her speech in eisode 10. Other than that everything is just downgrade from here. Reina could rot in America and after all her declaration being wanting to be special, I couldn't help that this season really made me dislike her alot tbh. The whole merirocratic audition is very frustrating and Kumiko's speech is a well paid off and only to be ruined with yet another blind audition in the nex two episodes. I thought Mayu is going to be a great addition to the cast but she's also equally frustrating to watch with her constant nagging on Kumiko wanting to forfeit. I truly missed Kumiko's senpai like Asuka, Mizore Yuuko and Natsuki. Whenever they appeared on screen, it made me remember the good ol' days and how they really help Kumiko alot to grow as a great president that we all know this season. The concert for national felt uneventful for how short it felt with quick cuts on flashbacks. Maybe that's actually the intention that time passed really fast and now Kuniko and co already graduate and become active member of the society. Time passing in this season felt very fast and now Kumiko already become a beautiful teacher. Even with all of the negative things that I say about this season, this series still remains special to me and Kumiko will also remains as one of my favorite character. |

- The peak of the show was previous episode and there was no drama in this episode.
- As a man standing at the back was holding the tall gold trophy, you were able to tell what place they've got before the declaration of the results.
- There may be people who still has mixed feelings like this.

| Episode felt rushed (a 40 min ep would have been better). Cons are that we didn't get to listen to a full Scherzando perfomance and they re-used old footage during Hitotose no Uta performance, such a shame. Anyway I liked how things went after. They finally won gold and looks like everyone is doing fine! But I really want to know what happened with Mayu, Taki and Kanade. Also I would like to watch an OVA about Kumiko as a teacher and that new euph girl someday. Please KyoAni, do it! |

| 9/10 for the episode (-1 for Asuka no-show); 8/10 for the season. My main criticism for S3 is the pacing and the lack of actual music. Reina being a jerk for a few episodes was another minus. The Mayu aspect was a plus over-all, I liked the character and she did provide the main drama thread for the season afterall. Her winning the final solo part was a good twist giving some meat to Kumiko's character development. Nice emotional wrap-up; even with the Asuka no-show it was the best episode. If they'd gotten Asuka in there somehow I'd given the episode a 10/10 but it is what it is. Rating the whole franchise: S1 8/10 S2 9/10 Liz 9/10 Chikai 8/10 S3 8/10 All-in-all a very good run which has provided many epic and unforgettable scenes and in the end that's what I'm ever really hoping for from any franchise. And for that I have to thank Kyoanni and the voice actors/actresses for delivering just that. |

| The last piece begins, and it all went by so fast... That was the perfect way to end this series, and I would like to thank every single person who had a part in this series, as it ended up being one of my favourite anime franchises ever. It ends with optimism, with Kitauji winning the gold, and we saw the entire build up to this moment during their amazing performance. I'm so happy to have been part of this journey as it finished, and I'll miss it immensely. We also had a time-skip at the end, and Kumiko's new job is so fitting for her. Not too much to say about this episode, I'm just so ecstatic to have seen them win it all. Overall, this has been quite the emotional rollercoaster of a season, and a season full of tension, and I have loved it immensely. At the moment, I do think this is my favourite season out of the three, but I will definitely need some time to process this franchise as a whole. Thanks for the memories, Sound! Euphonium! Each piece along the way was beautiful. For Kitauji, there will always be a next piece, and for Kumiko, Reina, and everyone else, there will also always be a next piece. |
| I love KyoAni and their catalog, and this is somehow their best work yet. Their crowning achievement. Kumiko is the best female lead of any high school anime, quite possibly any anime, period. Thank you KyoAni for blessing us with another masterpiece, looking forward to what you have in store for us next! |

Absolutely masterpiece of a show and franchise. Kyoani did amazing...old and new Kyoani. I had faith the newer staff at Kyoani would live up to the expectations but the really did excel. Did I expect Kitauji to win? Of course... the main character always wins in the end but the lessons learned along the way are the important part. They were beautifully expressed to the viewer. A lot of important things were said and I hope everyone watching has learned something from this franchise. I rewatched the scene where Kumiko chose her career path over and over trying to figure out if I missed what it was, but this episode finally revealed it. She just loves the school and band so much. That was something I didn't expect but it makes complete sense when looking at her character. Kumiko is as beautiful as ever, both inside and out.  I hope this series will be passed to do newer anime fans. I know that's unlikely because most people only watch newer anime, but I think Hibike! Euphonium has everything needed to be a "timeless classic". Force your kids to watch this someday. 10/10 for the season, and the franchise. |

| Man, I almost shed a tear watching this season's finale. Those were indeed Kumiko's true feelings. I'm also very happy to see virtually every character getting a scene or two in this. They really didn't forget anyone for the finale. Kumiko and Reina's relationship still remained strong towards the end. For their performance, I'm also so proud what their school has accomplished up to this point. Taki led them on stage and it all came down to this moment. I love how during their peformance, there were many flashbacks of their memores made together. They really waned to package this finale as a celebration of not just this season but the franchise. Great season and finale. Congrats on the GOLD! |

| One of the most predictable shows I watched and somehow I was fully engaged. Only complaint was the pacing but that was like a distinction between "a great watch" and "an all time great". Kumiko's third year deserves two cours like her first. That being said, there are a lot of positives. I only changed my rating of a show from 8-10 in the span of three episodes in one other instance: Akebi's Sailor Uniform. That's how episodes 12 and 13 carried not just S3 but S1, S2 and the movie. Flawed masterpiece, but a masterpiece nonetheless. Kitauji Fight!  |

| The song that started this season also ended it! We finally got a full musical performance and it was glorious. I'm grateful that KyoAni was able to deliver such a fantastic adaptation. The ending was really satisfying and fitting. I can't imagine how hard this must have hit for those who have been following the series since 2015. I just can't help but feel like I wish I had seen more of this show. I wanted to see more of the characters. Maybe Kumiko's second year being a movie is why I feel this way. |

| @PersiaJuliet23 She does not wear any ring so no, its either that they are now dating or he gave the pin back to Kumiko but they are now good friends and Kumiko cherishes that present. Its an open end on the romance front and I like that. |

| And so Sound! Euphonium ends with little fanfare. Absolutely no tension at all in Kumiko's posture and actions during and after the performance. A deserved gold for the whole band as they played their heart out. KyoAni putting one final masterclass in animating the performance. I actually popped off so hard when they announced the result - that's how much I grew to care for these characters. Kumiko's new career as a teacher befitting her attitude of guiding others. This journey was a good one and I'm sad to see it go but happy for everything that happened. Thank you KyoAni for this series. |
