| That OP is so good, man this episode alone was already better than the whole turtle business, it is a shame what happened with S2 but this is promising a lot, the animation seemed solid and I was so engaged all the episode, it seems there is going to be a lot of cute characters so I'm all in for this S3. |
| I'm trying to remember where did they get their little pet? Was that Rapthalia from when they fought Kyo in that other realm? Darnit! Do I have to rewatch the second season to find out how they ended up traveling with a pet? But regardless, this first episode is fire! lol Now I can't wait to see who are Shield Hero's new allies and who are his enemies. |

| Interesting start, the op looks amazing and I'm really happy about that. I'm scared for the animation because of the last season. I just hope it doesn't get laughably bad that's all I'm going to say. The story already so far just confuses me already. Like they probably should have explained aspects of the story more clearly. Like the king being the Staff Hero, like should we really gloss over that fact. It would have been a cool see to see the shield hero and him talk hopefully with him being a little more rational with his wife with him. Not to mention the other 7 new heroes that we now just heard about. I know they kinda mentioned that in Season 2 but that was in a diffrent world. I only know about the seven star heroes because I've read light "spoliers" before. If now I would be totally confused. The slave thing really puts a knot in my stomach. I understand why Naofumi wants to buy them, but the dude was all talk and didn't have the money for it in the first place. |

| I bet they must thinking they're so cool giving us such good animation and a masterpiece opening right after giving us absolute trash quality in Season 2. I wonder exactly how many poor chinese animators had to overwork for a year to make this? Sadly I can't trust this, the chances of the quality becoming dog shit in the following episodes is high, but I hope I'm wrong. |

| it didn't even feel like we went on a break. everything felt similar like we started right where we left which is great. and it sure is too soon to judge but this episode felt better than most of the episodes of season 2. also judging from the OP we are getting a lot of waifus this season and i believe only waifus can save this anime now. the other three heroes are dumb af like always. pretty good episode overall. looking forward to next one. |

| I'm happy that the production values, even from the first minute of the episode, already looks far more impressive than what season 2 had offered. While the pacing still feels on the quicker side, it didn't feel rushed, so I can only hope that that's a good thing. The story didn't waste time in getting straight to the point, with Naofumi and company already off to another country in his attempt to help the Luroluna Village slaves, although upon seeing a slave auction, due to his successes in the story so far, any slaves are pretending to be from Luroluna village just so that more people are willing to spend money to buy them. Hence it leads him, Raphtalia and Filo to take on disguises and battle their way in the underground coliseum. I do hope Naofumi will be successful here, although I do think his team will have a tough time dealing with some shady characters that'll definitely stand in the way. As expected, MadKid is back for yet another OP song, but not only does it sound better than season 2's OP, but the animation quality for the OP goes pretty hard, which makes it a visual treat to the eyes. =D So far, it's a good start. The standards will be lower due to season 2 being disappointing (The latter half was good, though), so I do hope season 3 gets things back on track for this series. |

So he needs to fight in the Coliseum while the other characters and Rishia are looking for the missing kids. Guardian Animals are waking up to protect the world by killing the people and turning them into energy to make a barrier that blocks the waves from destroying the planet. Season 2 bad guy stole the energy that the big turtle gathered by killing people and destroying towns. Naofumi took back that energy to this world and this postponed the waking up of the next big pokemon. |

| Not as bad as I thought it was gonna be after season 2, but I'm gonna wait and see if it holds up. I still feel like we rushed through a lot of stuff, but it did seem like it was mostly traveling and what not. The OP is good, per usual, and it does look to be a pretty interesting season if they don't botch it like season 2. |

Novelist Aneko Yusaki's Tate no Yuusha is back for Season 3, it's Heroes Re-Rising Rebuilding Arc starting from Volume 10 of the LN!
MADKID is back for yet another OP, and it just feels decent, almost like a drop off from their high of Season 1 which the quality has been degrading overtime.
The Spirit Tortoise is defeated, and it'll be 3.5 months before the next Wave of the Calamity Beast of the Phoenix will arise, and Ryo pushed them back in time enough for preparations but putting a curse on him, it's give and take. Melromarc is not spared from the calamity awaiting them, in the search for the Vassal Heroes: the Seven Star Heroes, which the Staff Hero is located somewhere in the kingdom. The Spirit Tortoise's body kept in Melromarc, and Naofumi earns a lil' present from Ost before her demise.
It's been while that Naofumi had come back to Melromarc, but sadly it's stuck the same way as before, still not acknowledging Naofumi and his party. Back to the Slave Mercenary's place, and all of the demi-humans from Lurolona Village have been bought out from nobles, so Naofumi and gang heads to the kingdom of merchants and mercenaries, Zeltoble, to meet the slave merchant there to see the slave underworld auction, which Naofumi's saving of them, only turned out to be a farce because of the Shield Hero band of business that has grown without his know-how. That then, brings him to the dark coliseum where money is everything, and that's how he got the idea of putting everyone on disguise and entering the arena to win big and play strategically, brandishing as Rockvalley to win back all the Lurolona Village slaves.
The ambush and conspiracy has begun for Naofumi and gang, and hoping that Season 3 will live up to the hype after Season 2's disappointment.

You don't remember stuff because the adaptation is terrible. Half the scenes got cut. They are running through the story.

| Good enough, I guess, production quality seems a bit better to me than season 2. Too bad that they skipped the whole training of new slave kids at the beginning, it's a nice moment in the manga. I have sometimes the feeling that the anime tone down a lot the more non-heroic parts of Naofumi and I think it's a questionable choice, since we loose a good part of his calculating character which makes him interesting. |

| Not my cup of tea. From the first episode it seems like we are for yet another "heroes are not fighting together" arc. Annoying and stale. Wish there was more depth to all of this than "here's another thing you have to deal with" from season to season. Am dropping the series here. I might give it a shot once more after few more episodes are released, but that was a very mediocre introduction into new season. |
